Casual Mediterranean place where you order at the front and your order is brought out to you. I had the bbq chicken wrap with lentil soup and pasta salad. I need to try their pastries and other items on the menu. Such a filling and delicious meal. I will be back.

Visiting my sister in Burbank. The Food at Sotta is good and tastes fresh. Service was quick! Staff is nice ! Its ambiance is modern and casual. You have options of indoor and outdoor seating which to me is also a plus ! Prices a bit more than other similar places but not too too bad.

A very welcoming and spacious atmosphere, with plenty of seating. They also have outdoor seating. I was with my 7 months old daughter, and it was easy to bring the stroller and to find space to dine in. They didn't have a baby changer in the restrooms, but there was a storage cabinet in on the restrooms that worked as a baby changer. The service was warm and friendly! Parking is right behind the restaurant. I had the Thai noodle salad, ground sirloin kabob, babaganoush, and tomato soup. Everything tasted fresh and was seasoned well. The salad portion was generous, and the kabob portion was decent. I loved the fluffy, cloud like garlic sauce that came with the kabob. I would definitely go back to try their pastries and drinks!

Very yummy quality food also very expensive lol. Buttt I do think it was worth the price. The chicken was so juicy, the rice flavorful, even the side Greek salad had a lot of flavor to it which I enjoyed. Their lavender lemonade was delicious also and free refills! Also they have those viral mousse fruit desserts, expensive but delicious! Service was pretty good it's an order yourself place. They do bring the food to you, along with your drinks, etc which is nice, they were overall super helpful for our first time there! Inside is pretty big and nice looking inside. they have a good amount of options for seating. You do have to sit yourself so that may get complicated if they are busy. The only thing I did not enjoy was the parking, it was awful. Super super small parking lot in the back, barely able to fit in the spots, difficult to pull in and even more difficult to get out without it taking forever so you don't hit someone else's car. Only other option it seemed like was street meter parking. Maybe it's the typical in this area and I'm just a newbie but this was pretty bad lol. Overall though I do want to come back to try more of their food!

Swung by here for a quick dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality food they have. I got their chicken kabob plate. Their chicken nice and juicy and their garlic sauce felt very light - almost like a whipped sauce. It's a casual cafe and would love to come try their brunch/ breakfast items some time.

This place is casual and a little in the trendy side. Comfortable seating options inside and outside. Order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Really friendly staff. I had the filet mignon skewer with salad and rice. A little pricey for what it was, but the quality is undeniable. My meat was tender and flavorful, salad was fresh. Their desserts looked amazing, but I was too full to order one. Next time, for sure!

What a lovely place to spend a bit of my day! There is great indoor seating and outdoor seating! The staff are accommodating and welcoming. They have gluten-free options. Everything was freshly prepared - the salads were cold, the soup was hot, the Chicken Shawarma moist. The rice had the perfect texture- not rubbery or day old. The sauces for each item were perfectly spiced. Would I come back - yes please. And the WiFi - reliable! (Eating alone today so did a bit of work & reading).

Great fresh food and flavors. I had the kale salad with sirloin and my hubby had the Thai chicken wrap and we shared fries. Really wanted dessert but, we're too full. Staff was great too Will be back if ever in the area.

We found this place back in February when I was in the hospital and needed something fresh and actually healthy because the hospital food just wasn't cutting it. This ended up being a lifesaver. The Mediterranean chicken salad became my go-to right away. Everything is always super fresh, good quality, and consistently delicious. You can really taste the difference. It's now our go-to for Mediterranean salads and chicken. I usually stick to that salad, but today I tried the BBQ salad with filet mignon and wow... new obsession. Both are amazing, just different vibes. My fiance odded caramelized salmon to the Caesar salad and loved it. Their Caesar is great on its own, but the salmon takes it up a notch. * Staff is always really nice * Coffee is great the lavender latte is a favorite * Guava lemonade is so good * Prices are fair for the quality * Easy parking in the back and some in front we've never had an issue * Clean restrooms for customers We have another Mediterranean place closer to home that we love, but this one is next level. Totally worth the drive. Definitely recommend.

Mother's Day: the holiday where we express our gratitude for all the mothers, fur baby moms and those guiding posts in our lives who behave like moms with flowers, cards, relaxation and love. While a simple 'thank you' often suffices; even better with is a meal to warm a mom's belly! Whether this is a fancy affair or something made with love is up to the mom in question. This is how Sotta came into my life on Mother's Day when celebrating a lovely mother who adores Sotta alongside her sons (I have never been) and all she wanted was a Sotta dinner. Sotta is a Mediterranean kitchen located on Alameda in Burbank close to the Buena Vista intersection and St. Joseph's hospital.  Owned by Mike and Arman (they also have a small sister-café in Los Feliz on Vermont, "Sidewalk Café") with free parking located adjacent to the building; Sotta serves up traditional Medi fare such as kabobs, pita wraps, salads, sides alongside wine/alcohol and pastries and coffee. So, what makes Sotta stand out among the similar over-saturated LA restaurants? Sotta uses an open flame grill and wood-fire oven to truly elevate their flavors and dishes and this comes across the second patrons taste the food but without insanely breaking your budget. Sotta is very welcoming with an indoor and outdoor dining area with wood trim and tables, high ceilings, exposed beams and an airy, open concept with an order counter before finding seating. Our party of four entered a very busy Mother's Day crowd around 6pm (Sotta only accepts reservations starting with parties of five). A small spa water station sits by the door as you wait in line to place your order. Everyone in our party decided to order plates "from the grill" with one or two sides that also come with salad or rice. I went with the Filet Mignon skewer with one side ($23) choosing salad over rice and dolma (grape leaves) as my side. The rest of my party chose Lamb Chops ($23 with one side) with various sides such as lentil soup, hummus, and sautéed mushrooms. Two members of the party also ordered Arnold Palmers to drink. This is where the waiting game began because it seemed to take FOREVER for Sotta to deliver our food. Granted, again, it was a holiday and busy but it still seemed a bit long to me and I was hungry after getting over a flu and not having really eaten in days! First to arrive was the celebrated mother's lentil soup which arrived cold and she had to ask for it to be warmed up. How are you going to deliver cold soup to a guest? It's SOUP! Another weird customer service moment was the female associate calling over to our table from the counter asking if the drinks have been served versus coming to ask/check. It was very uncomfortable and obtrusive even if minor. When the dinner finally arrived; I was very pleased to see large servings with colorful, fresh ingredients. You eat with your eyes, first, and I ate these plate up visually. Did the flavors deliver as well as the plating? YES! My filet mignon was perfect, tasty and tender and perfectly accented with the garlic paste. The salad dressing for the salad was so heavenly that I could have taken a pail of it home to bathe in and the dolma was fantastic which I am usually very picky with because I had a college best friend from Palestine whose grandmother made the BEST dolma. I tasted the Lamb Loin chops which were also very tender and lovely with a semi-sweet glaze. Everything was absolutely wonderful (and better than Sidewalk Grill although the sister café is great, too). The food was worth the wait (I cleaned every crumb off my plate) and the mother was pleased. What can I really add to Sotta's Yelp presence when it already rides high with over 1k reviews and high ratings? Sotta isn't perfect but it is darn close and holds up to the hype being a must-try for Mediterranean lovers in the Burbank area.

The food was good, but not amazing. My sandwich for example was served on very soft bread and don't get me wrong, I love very soft bread. However, it was so soft it was not holding the sandwich together well at all. As you can imaging, this made it very messy to eat. My husbands sandwich was flavorful, but the portions were off with too much bread vs meat ratio.

I am recovering from a leg injury, and really wanted the great kale quinoa salad. Since walking is quite difficult at the moment, I decided to place a delivery order. It took a while, but the salad was finally delivered, but when I opened the package I was surprised by the look of the salad. It seemed to have a topping of bread crumbs, but upon inspection I saw that it was a small little dump of quinoa. Hmmm, usually there are lovely shavings of Parmesan, but nope. There was a smidge of Parmesan, not the usual amount. But the real failure was the missing sunflower seeds! Whaaaat???!!! I paid $27 for a bunch of kale and lettuce with a couple tbs of quinoa and a few Parmesan shavings?! I called just to see how they would handle the situation. First I was hung up on, before speaking. Then I was put through to catering though I pushed #6, the general number choice. I was then transferred to someone else (not sure which dept) and I explained about the missing sunflower seeds. After checking with the kitchen he confirmed that yep, they ran out of sunflower seeds. He said I could get $.50 refund, and he would transfer me to another number. The phone rang for several minutes but no one picked up. My painkiller turned me into a total "Karen", because I expected so much more from a favorite place. Oh, well, there are other places. Though that kale quinoa salad is really good when it works. Just don't trust their delivery.

We've been doing that for a few years now, so that should tell you something right there. Our order is fairly consistent: we each start with a mimosa that comes in a highball glass, so one is usually all we need. Next, we share an order of kimchi biscuits (you get two). So delicious! Packed full of kimchi, bacon and cheddar cheese, it's a nice combo of flavors that play well together. The interior is usually soft and warm, with a nice crunchy crust. Top that with a smatter of the cinnamon butter that it comes with...yum! Our choice of entree varies, anything from avocado toast, to their kale and seaweed salad or any of their other selections they have from their brunch/lunch menu. On this outing, my friend and I both opted for the bibimbap. I opted for the pork bulgogi while my friend got the chicken version. It comes with a generous amount of carrots, zucchini, shiitake mushrooms and bean sprouts, and is topped with a runny, sunny side up egg that serves as an excellent sauce when you mix everything together, along with the gochujang sauce. We upgraded and got it with brown rice in the hot stone bowl. Worth it! The regular bibimbap is good, but when you mix in the crunchy crust that comes from the bottom of the stone bowl, you get an additional texture that makes the dish really stand out. The flavors already come together nicely, and the crunchy bits just enhance the experience. For dessert, we like to share the "lemon pie", which is actually a scoop of lemon gelato that comes in a glass that also includes graham crackers, topped with toasted marshmallows. A nice way to end the meal. And the staff! We usually either have Justin or Ann as our server, but everyone there is super friendly and helpful. They are consistently good at checking up on you and making sure you have everything you need. Just another 5 star reason of why we keep coming back!

Both were on the lighter side and pleasant for a lunchtime meal. INDOOR SEATING + OUTDOOR PATIO Sit inside or outside? To settle the debate, I did both while waiting for my lunch date to arrive. The warm, sunny patio was lovely, but there are only a few spots in the shade during certain times of the day, even with the awning drawn. Indoors, it's quaint and mirrors the koi fish artwork that graces the corner of the restaurant's exterior. It adds an authentic seafood-centric, Japanese charm to the ambiance. Service was prompt, although it wasn't a very busy time. Just across the street at Alfred Coffee, however, the second wave of a caffeine rush hour--needing their daily fix--rolled by as we paid. For me, on the other hand, the light shōchū buzz and pleasant stroll to my car was a foodie's bonus I'd come back for again.

High hopes for Yakumi. However, after a lunch visit, I was left disappointed…read more How sushi rice is served is one of the most important foundations of Japanese sushi culture. The rice served during a recent visit here was cold. Cold to the touch. I won't speculate as to why it happened and I should have mentioned something but chose not to as the fish was fine. Service was excellent. The dining area, clean and modern. I can't comment on the patio area as I didn't check it out. I liked everything about Yakumi however, I can't get past the cold rice. I'm not a fan of supermarket sushi as it's different. If you are, then you may like Yakumi. Or, don't be quiet like me and speak up. Maybe I just got cold rice because I was there pretty much right at opening. Letting it sit for a little while helped but my first impression was already set.

Sweetfin labels themselves as chef-inspired poke bowls with premium ingredients and bold flavours…read more Unfortunately, this is far from it. Having spent $93.40, the quality of the yellowfin tuna is hardly high quality and the quantity of fish was about 1/3 the amount of regular poke places. Items ordered were the Classic Tura, Superfood Bowl, Spicy Tuna Bowl, Keto Bowl, and two different BYOB burrito - all barely had any flavour...can we say bland? Also, the bowls and burritos were filled with primarily the base ingredients (rice/cauliflower rice), sweet potatoes, kale and bean sprouts (depending upon the bowl selected). These items are not only inexpensive but fills up the bowl. If you call it a poke bowl, at least 50 percent of the bowl should be filled with poke and not filler. Otherwise, it would be called a rice bowl with poke! Street parking is difficult in this Burbank location and I was greeted with a hostile attitude even though I spent nearly $100.00. Both food and service is lacklustre.

I actually thought it was Sweetin until I realized it said Sweetfin. Lol! Went inside to see what kind of food items they serve. It's a poke bowl eatery that specializes in vegan meals. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl to try it out. Everything was made fresh as you order. They have a variety of meals on their menu. Serving for the price is ok. I was hoping for a spicy, delicious tuna poke bowl. This specific spicy tuna poke bowl was bland. It lacks taste and flavor. It wasn't what I expected. They also don't take cash. I look forward to stopping by Sweetfin Poke Burbank to try other food items on their menu to give them another try.

We're talking about the steak and egg, which is so good it might ruin every other steak and egg you've ever had. Then there's strawberry banana French toast --because apparently regular French toasts just aren't dramatic enough. Everything's made with organic, natural ingredients, so you can feel healthy... while eating something the size of your head. Prices are affordable, and honestly, the portions are so big you might leave with dinner for later--or a new personality. It's got a chill vibe, friendly staff, and great people-watching. Basically, you come for brunch and leave questioning why you ever ate anywhere else.

This restaurant level business has outstanding cuisine . Surrounded by great downtown atmosphere and massive meal portions provided here. The Grub: The star of the menu IMO, and is the first thing listedbon their menu, their exceptionally massive "King" Pastrami Burger, 5/5 stars which flawlessly combines some of the "best I have ever had" pastrami with a tender Waygu cheeseburger. Their highly recommended (By fellow Yelpers of course) burgers seasoned and cooked to requested perfection. My role dog today also had the steak sandwich 5/5 stars which was sliced filet mignon on a ciabatta hoagie roll and described the steak as super tasty, with the mozzarella cheese and garlic aioli closing the deal. To compliment the burger and sandwiches they add a generous mountain of crispy fries 4.5/ 5 stars with your order,( cooked similiar in texture and size of In & Out Fries) Which means if the burger doesn't absolutely destroy your hunger pangs the mountain of fries at Wild Carvery guarantees that no one leaves their restaurant complaining of portions size. They also have a surf and turf Burger that I will return for anyway moving on. Lastly I had a Mexican Coke and that was the only downfall as I paid more than $7 for one bottle, I guess that's the price of luxury, but I had an option not to get it and still chose to do so, they also have complimentary cups and water and will offer you ice for your cup. A spectacular first visit and meal is only as good as its hospitality, and the front-of-house team at this establishment provides an exemplary standard of care. A very special shoutout goes to Nigel and Bernard, who deliver unparalleled customer service with warm smiles and attentive professionalism throughout the entire Behind the scenes, the kitchen staff (during my visit) deserves immense praise for their more than exceptional culinary skills that bring the amazing pictures on the menu to life. Felix and Marcello masterfully prepared our dishes from scratch, highlighting their skills. Food was so good I stuck my head in the kitchen to thank them all personally. Their combined precision and dedication to their craft are why this spot is #30 on Yelp's Top 100 Sandwich Shops in the U.S. for look em up..!! Tell em Michael J. sent you..
