Unreliable service, horrible customer support. Service slows horribly in the evenings, and not much better during the day. Typical rural Wi-Fi. No better no worse than anything else we've tried. The pic below shows our normal speed in the evenings with sos

OK so this review is specific to corporate company policy. First I have had SuddenLink for a year…read moreand basically the internet and TV have been fine without the issues discussed by others. Please note that I live in a 1100 sq foot house so signal strength is not a concern. So here is why this review. Over the weekend, the mini TiVO stopped working and I got a "blue" screen that said there was no software. Ok, read online that this particular model has a "chip" issue. Not a big deal pick a new one up on Saturday. First frustration: Suddenlink only has 1 office and they are not open on the weekend at all. Ok fine I will go on Monday: Second frustration: Monday at store (nice but useless rep) says that "we do not have any equipment at this store so a tech has to come to your house" and "if it is anything but the TiVO we charge $60 bucks". So first, I did not need a tech, I needed a new box!!! Ask if they could mail a box to me? Nope a tech is the only option!! 3rd frustration: I decided that I wanted a second TiVO box when the tech comes, get told "nope that is a separate appointment". Really!!!! So at the point, I ask about buying my own TiVo and got told that was fine but I had to pay a $250 nonrefundable price for the Suddenlink "chip". So I said, cancel the extra TiVo and have the tech come out and give me a new box. So my frustration and question is: Why do you even have an office in Georgetown? It seems all they are allowed to do by cooperate is to take money and schedule the tech. Well guess what, there is an app! for that.

Trying to cancel service is an absolute rectal exam. It shouldn't take 45 minutes and 2 operators…read moreto cancel. They really try to strong arm you into staying with them. Horrible experience. Still no email confirmation an hour later, although I asked for one several times.

I would happily give a four star rating...until today. Spectrum gets two stars because of the reliable service and Tamiqua, the rep that was helping me cancel my account. It was clear she was following a script, asking me all sort of demographic information that was not necessary for canceling an account. I eventually asked her to skip the script which she did. She informed me that I would have to pay for the entire billing cycle, which was three additional weeks. I asked her to cancel today and prorate the bill. She said she could not. Tamiqua was wonderful and I give her full credit however Spectrum continues to be a greedy corporation, not really interested in positive client relations.

ive had spectrum for long time paid every month and not cheap about 700 with phones and internet…read morethey told me that they were upgrading my system sent a tech out who was horrible by the way he left the modem there niot hooked to nothing at all and then they stared charging me every month a extra hundred bucks a tech came back out today told me they were charging me for two accounts for months i called them they said i have to return the equipment on my time that there tech left here that was never installled and charged me for months. so after i called them for two hours by the way. they see im right and then tell me they wont credit my account until i do there job and then i can out claim. wow DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR SUPERVISOR NESSA HORRIBLE SERVICE AND SCAMMING AND STEALING WITH NO AUTHORIZATION TO ADD TO MY ACCOUNT.
