I'd survived on Android Auto BT devices and wireless chargers for years. My port needed to actually work. Explained what I needed and he quoted I think $35. I could be plus or minus $8; even searched all my transactions for the actual total. Six minutes of work.....Told him the same story I told above and I get quips like that don't pay the bills brah. It's a good deal MAAAAN. Well, I just ordered the S26 Ultra folks. It's coming but a special surprise via the Samsung rep in the nearby Belterra shopping center. He did an Apple watch repair for me and the face almost immediately started to detach. I have been trying to contact him since the holidays to get it fixed. Initially I didn't hear anything back via text (which has always been a reliable way to reach him) and finally emailed. He did end of replying to that. However, it's been a month of texting and emailing with sporadic responses and still no repair. He's gotten really hard to get a hold of, and it's so frustrating! I spent over a hundred dollars on that last repair he did, and I still haven't been able to use my watch. So bummed that's he's become so unreliable! I finally went to another local competitor today (even texted him to let him know that I was finally fed up and going else where and STILL NO RESPONSE) and got it fixed right away with a tip they gave me to try at home. Didn't have to spend another dime. What a relief! I really hope that he can become reliable again. I know that Dripping Springs needs a reliable service provider and, unfortunately, bad news travels fast. I'd hate for his business to suffer. I quickly fished it out of the water, dry it off and take it out of its Morphie case. Images fade, vertical lines appear, after about 20 minutes total shut down. I head off to my next meeting, thinking i'll bury it in rice when I get home. No rice at home. Head over to the Apple repair place on 2nd Street--they aren't promising, say they will send it out, it will take at least 6 days. They recommend going to the Apple store and buying another six. Evening two. Bury dead phone in rice. Look on the internet for other solutions. Lots of advice. The rice was one of the suggestions--might have saved me that I executed that step. Miphone doctor pops up on Google search. Impressed with their SEO strategies. Make an appointment. Take iphone six to the Mi Phone Doctor Oak Hill location which isn't too far from downtown. Easy to find. This is a brand new location. Owner was there-Ben Kinder. Super nice. Knowledgable. Took phone. Said he would do what he could. He uses a process not unlike jewelry cleaning where they actually sonic clean the copper wires. Thought it would take a couple of days. He seemed like an honest and reputable businessman. I left the phone. He called several hours later saying that the new store wasn't that busy and he was able to jump into fixing my phone and that it wasn't too bad. He replaced the camera, the port and dried it out and cleaned it up and that he thought it would be good to go They ran some diagnostics and everything looked great. I am a happy camper since i leave town day after tomorrow and will have my phone, I didn't have to buy another iphone six and I didn't have to exercise my last insurance chit with AT&T. I will definitely use them again (hope I don't need to but I am a bit accident prone!) and will recommend them to all my friends including you new Yelping friend. Good luck. This duo saved my Note 5 from a serious drowning when I woke up one morning to find it floating on…read moremy nightstand. After TBH Repairs dried it, it was taken apart, cleaned extensively, reassembled and everything worked again except for the speaker microphone which they ordered and it was here the next day. What could have been a $600 nightmare repair turned into a small cell phone repair and I was back in action not missing important calls. Take care out there, y'all. For the first time in 28 years, I found myself alone at sea with a couple of tech issues that were increasingly problematic. Nerds in a Flash arrived late on a day that I was tightly scheduled and asked for considerably more than they had originally estimated (exactly the same job/problem I had described to them)... but redeemed themselves by cheerfully solving my problem and agreeing to the original estimate. Would I hire them again? You bet, but I recommend that you have them come in on a day that you have a flexible schedule, because your own time pressures are demonstrably unimportant to them.

I sent up an appointment the next day. James arrived on time and was masked ad kept his distance. Turns out one of the cables for the video was disconnected in the back of the box. I was pissed at myself for not checking this rookie mistake. James ran a check on my video card, searched for updated drivers, and ran a detailed check on my box for malware. Yes, even with Norton running, I had lots of malware. The flat rate of $125. was paid and James was on his way. He did explain everything he was doing so I wouldn't panic.
