They left me with audio not syncing to lips and I had to spend a considerable amount of time playing with the marantz amp, Gemini AI and tv to 'fix it'. My Bravío 9 tv picture and adjustments might have been configured. Or not. Who knows? I don't use this space a lot so was looking for a turn key solution. I had suggested another amp and they said you get this one without telling me why I wanted it. I ended up researching and overall the wattage is better and the receiver is better for my system but no one took the time to communicate the why on equipment. I felt like they were a better option then Best Buy install but ultimately left lacking. If I have a question today about the system i wouldn't feel comfortable reaching out with questions. Michael worked with me on scoping the project and suggested a number of possible options as far as possible upgrades but never did it feel like he was trying to up sell me on any of these options. We revised the bid a number of times and Michael was even flexible enough to add a wireless access point at the last moment. On the day of the install Ethan and Santos arrived on time and were clean, quiet and courteous while working. The guys had to first clean up a wiring cabinet that was a rat's nest of useless legacy wiring - the cabinet door was not able to close due to the mess and they cleaned it up so that it now closes with ease. The got the ethernet jacks in all the rooms setup exactly as I had requested and then proceeded to install the wifi access point so perfectly it is almost unnoticeable. Ethan and Santos had to deal with a lot of old technology but were able to weed out everything that was no longer relevant and wire up all the new technology. They reprogrammed by universal remote and gave me a demo of the new setup. Ethan was willing to offer suggestions when I asked about possible other projects and left me with a feeling that if anything was not absolutely perfect I could call and he would be back to make it so ! DRH reps said, "everything is wireless nowadays", but my wife works from home using her business VPN including for her phone so we needed Ethernet. In addition, when you add a bunch of stuff on your wireless network it gets crowded and causes problems. I called Keith after I found him in Yelp. I liked immediately. He is super customer oriented. He has a professional background in both commercial audio/video and has worked in the computer industry. Keith came out and wired two CAT lines to each of my rooms through the attic from my networking cabinet. He installed ethernet switches in the cabinet and at my entertainment center. He then moved my router and modem into the networking cabinet and out of sight. Keith has great attention to detail. He noticed the CAT lines running into my entertainment center were bright colored an stood out inside the unit. He said he did not like the look and swapped them to black. In the end my huge plate of multicolored/length spaghetti lines are gone and everything is squared away. Keith was super reasonable in his pricing and provided a detailed estimate upfront. He was significantly cheaper that the other 5 star company I spoke to from Yelp and was far better in the way he treated the customer. He then outfitted our 12,000sq ft warehouse with Wifi, magnetic door locks, complete camera coverage inside and out, and configured our console, switch, and NVR so it was up and running right out of the gate. During all of this we were actively setting up the warehouse with heavy machinery, racks, and workstations and Cris had no problem working with and around us so there was no interruption in our daily operations.
