They came with all the correct equipment and were meticulous on the install and cleanup. I even appreciated how frequently they checked the leveling through the process. I am happy I used them for the install and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I would not recommend this company. In my experience, they have been extremely unresponsive to texts and voice messages, making communication very frustrating. I also noticed that many of their review responses appear to be generic AI-generated templates rather than personalized replies. For example, some responses contain distinctive em dashes and reference an email address that doesn't appear to belong to the company. That gave me the impression that the responses are automated rather than authentic. Based on my experience, I would look elsewhere if responsive customer service is important to you. read more

Two TVs swapped. A TV From bedroom to living room, new small TV placed in bedroom. Brackets for both TVs already in place. They INSISTED A 2nd technician was required (extra $75) because it was above a fireplace (insurance requirement). I should have stuck to a previous company who used 1 technician for same above fireplace mounting. The actual job should've been considered. It was not necessary to have 2 technicians . read more

Bat City mounted 6 TV's for me and did a fabulous job. One of them was on my stone outdoor fireplace. One of the TV mounts that I already had wouldn't work in my new house. Getting service for a TV mounted can be challenging and time consuming. I faced such frustration recently when trying do just that. HOWEVER, despite complicated services from the installers where the TV wea purchased and the wait as a member of the Geek squad where I am a member I headed to the internet. You have to be careful because many say they can and you get a botched job as I've experienced in the past with Ang List. Bat City caught my eye. Yeah strange name but I read on. GREAT Job!!! I needed my tv mounted because my bed is higher and it was hurting my neck! I reached out the Bat City TV on New Years Day 2021 and received a prompt response from Adam. He was able to come out within 24 hours of the message! He not only saved me time from buying everything I needed like the white wire covering, the extension cords, and the mount itself. He hid my cable box behind the tv which I didn't even know you can do?!? And he was so kind to make sure no dust or wall residue would fall for me to vacuum later. Kudos to that! He exceeded my expectations with quality customer service and the cost! Extremely professional company. He was diligent with his communication and it was a breeze when it was installed. He was super efficient and mounted a 43 inch tv in 30 minutes. I support small businesses ESPECIALLY during COVID pandemic! Fast response to quote. Kind service, came two days after quote. Installed fast, no mess, perfect placement. Only issue is the cables weren't tied in back of TV, just kind of hanging loose. I can tie myself but would have taken this from a good job to a complete job if they had finished with clean cable wraps. read more

Of the 4 bids I requested, Wire Genie came in the middle in price but Eric was heads and above in his consideration and scoping of the task whereas many other installers seemed to be guestimating effort. Eric had a number of helpful suggestions both from camera positioning to running lines for future use and he did a phenomenal job on running a POE Doorbell camera behind brickwork and only needing one access cut that, at his suggestion, we put a 2-outlet blank faceplate over for future access/maintenance if needed. Eric is now that guy for me with networking. My home has never had good internet. It was built before internet was much of a thing, it's stone, has radiant barrier, outdated connections, nonstandard shape, etc. I prepped Eric for these challenges among others and told him I had very high standards. He was undeterred and we set up a consultation. Eric had to have really impressed me, as I let him drill through stone which is highly uncharacteristic of me. I now have rock solid WiFi both inside and outside my house ~600Mbps for an extended distance and constant speeds over Ethernet even faster than that. I highly recommend Eric to bring an old home up to modern technological standards.

I moved to town June 2021. I asked three places to install my theatre. I won't name the other two…read morebut they wouldn't get back to me in a timely manner and they had jobs pushing out their commitment to 9 months. At least one place told me I wasn't a "high dollar thus as valued customer". I remember those places, always. I called Empire and within 5 days they had a wonderful gentleman come over and give me an estimate. Side note, all stereo places prefer you buy their equipment before they install it. Empire did all my installation needs within one month and didn't complain that I only bought cheap ceiling speakers. The whole job was on par for pricing and the amount of work was well done and quick. Finally, I have Control4 so they were able to automate my theatre experience. I have had one issue, my router went down and for some reason the receiver I bought in NC lost it's IP information. While I had to pay for the service call, Empire had someone out within 4 days and not only was it fixed within 10 minutes, the installer showed me how to fix it! In summary, if you want good AV (Audio / Video) equipment and installation for your home in a timely manner, reasonable prices, and by good people, give these guys a shout. My home had no ethernet wiring and I wanted to wire up a…read morebunch of POE cameras and also provide 10GBE to ethernet jacks upstairs and in my office as well as add 2 10GBE APs for my ubiquiti setup. Eric's quote was reasonable, well thought out and easy to understand. Of the 4 bids I requested, Wire Genie came in the middle in price but Eric was heads and above in his consideration and scoping of the task whereas many other installers seemed to be guestimating effort. Eric had a number of helpful suggestions both from camera positioning to running lines for future use and he did a phenomenal job on running a POE Doorbell camera behind brickwork and only needing one access cut that, at his suggestion, we put a 2-outlet blank faceplate over for future access/maintenance if needed. All cables were carefully labeled and terminated into my server rack patch panel. Awesome work!

Eric is now that guy for me with networking. My home has never had good internet. It was built before internet was much of a thing, it's stone, has radiant barrier, outdated connections, nonstandard shape, etc. I prepped Eric for these challenges among others and told him I had very high standards. He was undeterred and we set up a consultation. Eric had to have really impressed me, as I let him drill through stone which is highly uncharacteristic of me. I now have rock solid WiFi both inside and outside my house ~600Mbps for an extended distance and constant speeds over Ethernet even faster than that. I highly recommend Eric to bring an old home up to modern technological standards.

Adam and Joe were absolutely amazing. They took the time to come out first for a consulting visit, then presented me with several options to select from. They were patient and flexible while I had to coordinate with an Electrical Contractor and Drywall Contractor first, then were ready to go as soon they were done.
