His prices are very reasonable, probably $100 cheaper per hour than most other moving companies I've checked with. If you need to protect your items, I would recommend purchasing some covers beforehand or asking them ahead of time if it's available. The men also helped disassemble and reassemble our bed frame, as well as unmount and remount the TV. This is a warning to others who may want to use Alex. Alex's original estimate was that it would take 9 hours to do all phases of the move. This was important because we were paying by the hour. We based our budget on 9 hours. Alex and his team worked very hard and were careful with the first stage of the move. However, it took them 12 hours for just that first stage. That already blew our budget. But the worst is yet to come. A few days prior to the final move from storage to the new house, I texted Alex a couple of times reconfirming everything. I received no response. I then called him. His response was that he was on vacation for the next month and wouldn't be doing our move. Had I not called him, on the day of the move we would have just sat there waiting. I can't tell you the amount of coordination we had lined up with other vendors, deliveries etc. Not being able to move on the specific date we had agreed to ~45 days prior was going to be catastrophic for us. I haven't been that furious in a long time. Alex comes across as a nice guy and he does work hard when he is on the job. But he is not trustworthy and is unreliable. You just can't have that in this business or really any business.
