At least one place told me I wasn't a "high dollar thus as valued customer". I remember those places, always. I called Empire and within 5 days they had a wonderful gentleman come over and give me an estimate. Side note, all stereo places prefer you buy their equipment before they install it. Empire did all my installation needs within one month and didn't complain that I only bought cheap ceiling speakers. The whole job was on par for pricing and the amount of work was well done and quick. Finally, I have Control4 so they were able to automate my theatre experience. I have had one issue, my router went down and for some reason the receiver I bought in NC lost it's IP information. While I had to pay for the service call, Empire had someone out within 4 days and not only was it fixed within 10 minutes, the installer showed me how to fix it! In summary, if you want good AV (Audio / Video) equipment and installation for your home in a timely manner, reasonable prices, and by good people, give these guys a shout. You'll be very happy you did.

It's more common than not that companies you transact with will do anything to avoid any kind of call back after they've gotten their money, but Monarch Technologies is the exception. It's obvious from the moment you talk to them that they're interested in a long term relationship, not a quick buck. I won't be using anyone else in Austin for my future AV purchase and installations.

Our original pub became a Dyezz customer in 2013 and they have kept us abreast of the latest innovations at our second location since it opened in 2017. We recently completed a significant camera and alarm system update and the results are splendid. The security cameras are much sharper, have great infra-red response at night, and now zoom, remote access is fast and simple, and alarm monitoring and notifications are safe, secure and reliable. A recent service call (rare) was dispatched and handled quickly and the technician took time to explain all possible causes for an error condition and what he had done to ensure it was resolved. Cris worked with me to design a Ubiquiti system that fit our needs and budget and made multiple recommendations to make sure our needs were met without inflating cost. He then outfitted our 12,000sq ft warehouse with Wifi, magnetic door locks, complete camera coverage inside and out, and configured our console, switch, and NVR so it was up and running right out of the gate. During all of this we were actively setting up the warehouse with heavy machinery, racks, and workstations and Cris had no problem working with and around us so there was no interruption in our daily operations. His knowledge was invaluable in evaluating products and general IT configuration. He was always on time and stayed in contact regarding re-scheduling when there were multiple roadblocks on our end - like not having a ramp to get the lift outside. Before we found Chirp, we used another company, and had ongoing problems with both the installation and operation of the system. We made a call to Chirp, and they came in and redid the system. It has run perfectly since that time. Additionally, Chirp charges a better than usual price for monitoring and that makes a difference.

Their customer service is the worst! I had no problems whatsoever when it was FrontPoint but as…read moresoon as it changed to Alert360 things went down the hill. FrontPoint always provided the panel's battery replacement and new sensors for free, forget about it with Alert360. Whenever I tried to contact them to get assistance or to talk to a representative it took me about 30 minutes to be able to find a phone number to call them. Once I had them on the phone their assistance was of no help, some of the agents were even curt and didn't see to care about my issue. For financial reasons I had to cancel the service, last thing I remembered I was told with FrontPoint that there were no contracts and could cancel at any time without problems. Well, since moving to Alert360 it seems that one is under a contract since you have to give them 30 days notice to cancel or else you will be charged. Since I cancelled at the beginning of September they charged me for the month, ok that's fine, but I gave them my notification before October and guess what?! They went ahead and charged me for the month with no service! Ha! I called them twice to get the charge refunded (the woman that answered was pretty rude by the way), last agent I spoke to told me the refund should've been made right away on my first call! He said the refund would be posted in my back account within 5-7 days...it's already half month and no amount has been refunded so I had to dispute the charge which is still in process. Please don't trust this people and their business practices, they will screw you up any chance they get and you won't see a penny if you are asking for money back! **UPDATE: I received a call from one their representatives on October 29 telling me they had sent me a check on October 16 and I should get it shortly. Well, it is now November 7 and I still haven't received any check yet. I submitted a review at the ConsumerAffairs website and the BBB. My bank is also disputing and investigating this issue. I still don't recommend them and wouldn't go back to them even if their service was free... **UPDATE (11/22/24): The company called me to tell me that the check they had sent went back to them due to them missing to write down the apartment number (you would think they have the complete address since they're a security systems company! The irony!), fine, I gave the correct address and the agent says they'll resent the check. Next day, I received another call saying they couldn't send the check since they don't have the complete address! This company is just joking with me at this point! What type of training is the staff getting? They don't know how to write down notes in one's file??? It's ridiculous, a joke and a waste of time! My bank still dealing with the dispute (about two months ongoing now!) which they shouldn't have to...shm.
