I had a great experience with Securimax. Jack came to my home for a free consultation. He immediately pointed out that the doors and locks in my house were wired for a security system but the previous company did not even use it! Jack was very knowledgable and listened to my concerns and the type of system I wanted. You can tell he's been in the business a long time. He was able to work with me to set up a great system within my budget. It feels good to know I can take a short drive and talk face-to-face to the friendly people at the Securimax office if any issues pop up. Donna was particularly helpful in getting my notifications set up just right. Highly recommend! read more

Had to call three times to fix a simple issue on the cameras and display if the app wasn't so complicated we would have to be calling all the time read more

So we had a security system installed by Securimax in 2023 and experienced nothing but problems with the system. The panels never worked right and had a tech on several occasions and was told it was my internet that was causing the problems. Finally, after 3 years on constant issues I called to cancel the service and was informed I needed to send an email and they would cancel. No one tried to keep us as customers and resolve the issues. Additionally, 2 wks after cancelling their service the monitoring station called us 15 times saying they were receiving trouble signals. When I talked to the monitoring station, they said they had not received any information about the cancellation. If you are looking for an alarm company think twice about using Securimax. Absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with! I hired this security company thinking I was protecting my home, but instead I got stress, wasted money, and zero accountability. The installer showed up late, seemed completely unprepared, and didn't even know how the system was supposed to work. Sensors were crooked and one camera works only sometimes. When I asked about it, I was told "that's how I was told to do it" and "most people think it's ok". The system went offline multiple times, including once while we were out of town. What's the point of paying for the services if it doesn't work when you need it most? Customer service is a joke. Calls go unanswered and when someone finally responds, they act like you are the problem. Every issue was blamed on my internet, my phone, or "user error," even though the system wasn't working rights from day one. How is it my fault when the app says that a camera is offline? What am I supposed to do but contact them. I pay them monthly for the service, so if something says it is not working then I think it's reasonable to say I can call them. What is not reasonable is for there to be no customer service when the system is malfunctioning. To make matters worse, I was locked into a contract and threatened with cancellation fees instead of offered real support or a fix. If you care about your safety, your money, or your sanity, stay far away from this company. I regret ever signing up. I thought I was doing good by going with a small company, but I should have called ADT, Vivint, or someone bigger. read more

***** Update October 2025 ***** No matter who you deal with from Securimax, either by phone or coming to resolve an issue issue at home, they are the best in customer service, Technical knowledge and willingness to put the customer always first. Some weeks ago, I had an issue with my motion sensor at home which somehow was not triggeriing properly. Cody came to look into it. He spent some time troubleshooting the device and after a while resolved that the best course of action was to replace the sensor, which they did... at no cost! Cody as every single person that I have dealt before from Securimax, took the time to explain every detail about what he did and answered patiently any question about the my system I asked. Now, the people that have helped me on the phone, or at Securimax's office have always gone above to resolved promptly any thing I have needed help with, Terry, Shelby, Francine... always put customer needs first. And I can vouch for that even more with the second Securimax System I decided to install in a second home in Mexico. I had a different one over there, but it did not come close to what the overall Securimax solution provides. So I diteched that and bought a second system from them. A very similar system to what I have in the US. Securimax members helped me with the installation and troubleshooting over the phone even on a Sunday!! And if you want to know how is the system in Mexico working. Like a charm! Is just awesome that I can control everything from both locations with one single App. You just cannot go wrong with Securimax. read more

We have been using this security system for almost 3 years and they have been fantastic! All of their technicians are super friendly and polite. On Friday they sent another technician, Andrew, that was quick to address the problem and diagnose the issue with a smile on his face. We plan to continue using Securimax as long as we're in Austin. read more

They responded quickly and asked lots of questions to see exactly what I needed. They dropped 2 new data lines into my home office. Left everything clean and did not leave until they were 100% positive that each drop worked properly. Xavier our technician was very polite and did a fantastic job. Teri in the office was very pleasant and a joy to talk to on the phone. They quoted a price and there were no surprises on the final invoice. read more

Shelby was so helpful in helping us chose a system that was customized to our home and our needs.

Let's start with the fact that the owner, Jack Grimm, flat-out lied to me. During our initial sales meeting, I specifically asked where the equipment they install is made. I made it very clear that I did not want any Chinese-made security equipment in my home. Jack looked me in the eye and said--and I quote--"Everything we sell is made in the USA." That turned out to be completely false. A few days ago, I was speaking with a friend who works in the security industry and mentioned that all of my cameras were supposedly made in the USA. He immediately told me that was highly unlikely. He explained that there are very few security cameras actually manufactured in the U.S., and the ones that are tend to be extremely expensive and used only in very specific, high-security applications. He said that most of the time reliable, secure cameras are made in Vietnam or Thailand. So I went and inspected the cameras myself--and sure enough, every single one was clearly labeled "Made in China." This wasn't a mistake or a simple oversight. Jack knew exactly what he was doing. Instead of being upfront and explaining that quality equipment is available from other countries, he chose to lie just to make a sale. A company that lies to gain business is not one you can trust. It's incredibly disappointing, especially coming from someone who bragged about how much experience he had. Honesty and transparency should be the foundation of any business, especially one in the home security industry. I've told my friends and family about this experience, and I'll continue to spread the word. I do not recommend Securimax or Jack Grimm. If a company is willing to lie just to close a deal, what else will they lie about? read more

Securimax did a great job installing our home security system. Jack helped us find a solution that fit our needs and Cory was very professional, thorough, and easy to work with. He explained everything clearly and made sure it all ran smoothly. We feel safer and more confident thanks to their excellent service. Highly recommend! read more

My boss needed security for one of his businesses. It's a unique property and we needed camera coverage in several areas and security. I reached out to Securimax on Yelp because of excellent reviews. I'm glad I did because they are great!! Jack came out to look at the property with me and my boss. We had a few hurdles with financing because our company is relatively new, but Jack and his team were helpful for the entire process. Teri in the office is a dream to work with... she went above and beyond. Our install took a little longer than originally planned because of the wiring that was needed in a large arena. Our lead installer, Dennis, was communicative and hard working. He did the install in the summer heat and was tenacious, resolving any equipment issue that he came across while getting us connected. We love knowing that our business is secure and that we can see the property at all times. Thank you Jack, Teri and Dennis for all of your help and work!! read more

When I wanted to upgrade my home security system, I asked my neighborhood and I got repeated recommendations for Jack Grimm and Securimax. I called and Jack himself came by to give me an in-person quote. He was so knowledgeable and helped me to pinpoint the exact system I need. He was able to explain the process and did not try to 'oversell'. The installer was excellent, including going over the new technology with me to assure I was familiar with all of it. He was also terrific with my big "crazy" puppies that are still working on their manners. The office staff has been terrific getting my account up and going, as well as checking on me. I recommend Securimax! Thanks so much! read more

Securimax - Camera view for my 'hidden' front door! - Security Systems Near Me - Hutto, Texas

Our neighborhood has recently gotten a little too "exciting", so we felt we needed to invest in security and cameras. The equipment is SO good, the camera images are crystal clear, and everyone we have dealt with start to finish has been AMAZING!! I really recommend Securimax!! read more

WOW! I am appalled of managers response to his customer. I am not sure why you are choosing to lie..... again (I'm sure you and Terri are aware of what I am referring to) For anyone reading this review...... this is YENSI and I am not an ex employee. Thanks for finally reaching out via Google review and a week later. As I had stated in my previous review I and my spouse had notified Terri and technicians multiple times of our issues within the year that we have had equipment for. Please do fix this soon as I don't see why I would pay for something that is not working as promised. I hope to get a call soon to finally get issues resolved? Or are you just refusing to call me and fix my equipment? As that is not part of our signed agreement. read more

We recently switched our service to Securimax after having been with a large national company for years. It's important to know the people who you are paying to protect your home - with the national company I had no clue who I was talking to, nor could I get them to take responsibility or help with a portion of the system that had stopped working. My experience with Securimax could not have been more different. The owner called me back almost immediately to discuss my needs. The next day he sent not only an account representative but he himself came out and checked out our property to help ensure that we got the right system. Our new system was set up the next day! The installation took several hours and the employee connected as much of our existing hardware into the new system as possible. We have had texts and calls from their front office to ensure everything was set up and they were immediately responsive to questions I had post installation about how to best use the devices. We honestly could not be happier with the change we have made. We are supporting local business. We are paying no different a month than we were before. We have a system that works and we can immediately contact them for help. Definitely recommend them!! read more

We had a Spectrum network router fail, which required reconnecting all devices dependent on WiFi. Two cameras wouldn't reconnect, no matter which Alarm.com instructions we followed. Securimax added us to their schedule and in 30 minutes everything was back to working - and better, with the camera motion sensor settings fine tuned. We've been customers since 2019 and are generally pleased with the service. The technicians are always polite and quickly address issues. Most things, Alarm.com manuals and videos solve... but not everything. The monthly price is higher than the previous security service, and Alarm.com hardware is mid-range, but Securimax support and service are solid. We are pleased with Securimax. read more

It was a great pleasure working with Jack and Yamil. From the first day when we got a quote from Jack, we felt very much at ease and knew he wasn't trying to take advantage of us. His prices were fair and he thoroughly explained everything and gave us all our options. I almost never decide on the spot whether to hire someone or not, but we went with Jack immediately and we were not disappointed. All our equipment was installed at the given date and time and we are very pleased with the overall service. Yamil is a pleasure to work with and is very attentive and follows through to make sure everything works as promised. I highly recommend Securimax and tell all my friends about them! read more

We have used Securimax for almost 3 years now and absolutely love them. We just moved to a new home so I called and Terri explained how we would get the service moved. She got me on the schedule quickly and touched base with me throughout the process. We wanted to upgrade our system and add cameras, Jack came out to view our property and asked what I wanted, offered suggestions and explained everything to me. The team that came out and did the install made sure to check with me and set everything up exactly how I wanted it. When they were finished they walked me through how to use everything. Everyone I have worked with has been amazing. I cannot recommend Securimax enough. If you are looking for a security system, look no further. These guys are the best. read more

Jack with Securimax was absolutely amazing to work with and delivers a top notch security system! I couldn't be more impressed with the video abilities as well as my whole home monitoring that is at my fingertips 24 hrs a day. I'm beyond thankful for the peace of mind Jack has given me and my family. Thank you Securimax! read more

Just had SecuriMax set up equipment and monitoring services at my new home. I saw the great reviews about their customer service, and I'm happy to report that I had the same positive experience. Jack and Devin came to my house, took inventory of my preferences and existing equipment, and made recommendations based on my budget and concerns. Teri, the Operations Manager, helped iron out the details with me in terms of payment schedule and equipment. She's been so fast, flexible, and helpful with answering all my questions. When she says that I can call/text anytime, I feel like she actually means it. I've reached out at odd hours for questions (with no expectation of an immediate response) and she's gotten back to me right away. The technician who set up my equipment was also great - very respectful and considerate of where I wanted my cameras set up. I've been happy with my experience so far, so big thank you to the whole team at SecuriMax! read more

I waited a few months before I wrote a review so I could speak to their service after the sale in addition to getting the new security system set up. I am very pleased in every aspect. The initial meeting was breezy, but not hard sell. Salesy? Yes, but I expect that. They back right off when you say no to something. Installation was done quickly after the meeting and we've been very happy with it. I also had them install at my business. We've had one false alarm at each location and response was instantaneous with a phone call. Exactly what we want. Now I'm moving my business to a new location and they were able to schedule the switch quickly. I definitely recommend them. read more

Hey one thing I can reassure you best deal for your buck!! Not to mention family owned..

I use Securimax for my office and home and couldn't be happier! Responsive, well priced, and great product. Thank you!

We just bought our first house and got a full security system installed by Jack and his team. Working with them was GREAT. So friendly, knowledgeable and overall just a wonderful company to work with. As a young homeowner Jack has even offered to give recommendations for any other services we may need. It's so awesome to find a company that treats you so well and gives such a friendly personalized experience - you really can't get that very often these days and especially from some of the big companies selling security these days. We are so glad we chose securimax! read more

I'm so happy with the setup of our service. They were thorough, fast, and worked around my schedule.

Devin the Securimax team are great! If you want a white glove, local service who will bend over backwards for you, call Securimax. We had Ring and ditched it after a month to get a real system that's guaranteed and far superior to most other brands. Highly recommend! read more

Five years after having my system installed and starting system monitoring, I am still a very satisfied customer of Securimax. I had a great experience getting a new security system from Securimax. Jack answered all of my questions at our consultation and made sure we got all the components we wanted. This review is overdue but I wanted to make sure everything was working properly for a significant amount of time, so here it is: Jack and his team installed my alarm system ALERT 360 back in October and I couldn't be happier with it. He made sure I had all of the basics covered and explained thoroughly why some upgrades made sense without being pushy. Moreover, he gave me an incredibly good deal for all of it. As for the alarm system itself, it's so easy to use it's dummy-proof. I haven't been in an emergency situation just yet to test the actual police response feature--but I guess that's a good thing! Anyways, I highly recommend you check them out for your next alarm system. It's a really solid option to your home security needs. read more

I've been working with Securimax for over four years now. Their service all my commercial properties and my home as well. They've always been very professional, everything has always been well explained, and installation has always gone very well. Having many accounts means I call regularly for upgrades or just questions and they have always been very nice and very patient, I would put their customer service at some of the best I've ever experienced. I highly recommend them and I see myself using them indefinitely into the future. read more

Jack was really great working with us to come over and give us a truthful rundown of what our home really needs to start with our home security. Didn't try to upset us or make us get things we don't need at this time but made us aware of the additional options we could add on at a later time! Also with the installation it was quick and easy and the technician Matt was very professional and helped setup and explain how the system works. Very happy that our new hope is safe and secure with a LOCAL COMPANY! read more

First, this review is long overdue but well worth coming back to ensure it gets completed (life interrupted me a lot). New home purchase (of an existing home) and I wanted a good security system; SecuriMax was recommended and I could not have been happier. Working with Jack, the owner, we were able to come to a negotiated price with multiple options to fit my specific needs. His team was able to use my preexisting wiring and hardware in the house and perform simple upgrades to an 18 year old system that meets the modern day needs. During the process there were some hiccups, but it was NOT with Jack or his team working the issue, it was simply that the manufacturers updated some of their firmware on various components in my setup and SecuriMax had to navigate these updates so that the system would work as expected. Life happens. Technology updates at the most random times. It turns into a learning experience for everyone. In the end, I have a very secure and affordable system that I can feel confident in when I am at home or away. SecuriMax is a greatly recommended company and I plan on going back for additional items in the future. read more

Securimax was recommended to me and I have been impressed since the initial quote meeting. Jack spent hours answering all my questions, giving me a thorough run down of everything we could potentially install, and most importantly giving me a logical and well-thought installation plan that realistically fit my needs. The installation was extremely thorough and I kid you not my system was triggered by an event less than 24 hours after install so I know it works!
