The installation itself was fairly involved and took most of the day, but everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Since then, their service has continued to impress. Absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with! I hired this security company thinking I was protecting my home, but instead I got stress, wasted money, and zero accountability. The installer showed up late, seemed completely unprepared, and didn't even know how the system was supposed to work. Sensors were crooked and one camera works only sometimes. When I asked about it, I was told "that's how I was told to do it" and "most people think it's ok". The system went offline multiple times, including once while we were out of town. What's the point of paying for the services if it doesn't work when you need it most? Customer service is a joke. Calls go unanswered and when someone finally responds, they act like you are the problem. Every issue was blamed on my internet, my phone, or "user error," even though the system wasn't working rights from day one. How is it my fault when the app says that a camera is offline? What am I supposed to do but contact them. I pay them monthly for the service, so if something says it is not working then I think it's reasonable to say I can call them. What is not reasonable is for there to be no customer service when the system is malfunctioning. To make matters worse, I was locked into a contract and threatened with cancellation fees instead of offered real support or a fix. If you care about your safety, your money, or your sanity, stay far away from this company. I regret ever signing up. I thought I was doing good by going with a small company, but I should have called ADT, Vivint, or someone bigger. read more

***** Update October 2025 ***** No matter who you deal with from Securimax, either by phone or coming to resolve an issue issue at home, they are the best in customer service, Technical knowledge and willingness to put the customer always first. Some weeks ago, I had an issue with my motion sensor at home which somehow was not triggeriing properly. Cody came to look into it. He spent some time troubleshooting the device and after a while resolved that the best course of action was to replace the sensor, which they did... at no cost! Cody as every single person that I have dealt before from Securimax, took the time to explain every detail about what he did and answered patiently any question about the my system I asked. Now, the people that have helped me on the phone, or at Securimax's office have always gone above to resolved promptly any thing I have needed help with, Terry, Shelby, Francine... always put customer needs first. And I can vouch for that even more with the second Securimax System I decided to install in a second home in Mexico. I had a different one over there, but it did not come close to what the overall Securimax solution provides. So I diteched that and bought a second system from them. A very similar system to what I have in the US. Securimax members helped me with the installation and troubleshooting over the phone even on a Sunday!! And if you want to know how is the system in Mexico working. Like a charm! Is just awesome that I can control everything from both locations with one single App. You just cannot go wrong with Securimax. read more

Let's start with the fact that the owner, Jack Grimm, flat-out lied to me. During our initial sales meeting, I specifically asked where the equipment they install is made. I made it very clear that I did not want any Chinese-made security equipment in my home. Jack looked me in the eye and said--and I quote--"Everything we sell is made in the USA." That turned out to be completely false. A few days ago, I was speaking with a friend who works in the security industry and mentioned that all of my cameras were supposedly made in the USA. He immediately told me that was highly unlikely. He explained that there are very few security cameras actually manufactured in the U.S., and the ones that are tend to be extremely expensive and used only in very specific, high-security applications. He said that most of the time reliable, secure cameras are made in Vietnam or Thailand. So I went and inspected the cameras myself--and sure enough, every single one was clearly labeled "Made in China." This wasn't a mistake or a simple oversight. Jack knew exactly what he was doing. Instead of being upfront and explaining that quality equipment is available from other countries, he chose to lie just to make a sale. A company that lies to gain business is not one you can trust. It's incredibly disappointing, especially coming from someone who bragged about how much experience he had. Honesty and transparency should be the foundation of any business, especially one in the home security industry. I've told my friends and family about this experience, and I'll continue to spread the word. I do not recommend Securimax or Jack Grimm. If a company is willing to lie just to close a deal, what else will they lie about? read more

Securimax is incredible. This was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. We recently moved into a new house and needed an alarm system installed. I procrastinated on finding an alarm company until shortly before we were going out of town for a long trip. It's important to know the people who you are paying to protect your home - with the national company I had no clue who I was talking to, nor could I get them to take responsibility or help with a portion of the system that had stopped working. I've been searching for a security company since we bought our first house last year and discovered that our next door neighbors have a revolving door of renters with no concern for property or HOA rules. I found this company via a neighborhood Facebook group and after seeing so many complaints about Vivint and ADT screwing over my neighbors in long term contracts they couldn't get out of. This review is overdue but I wanted to make sure everything was working properly for a significant amount of time, so here it is: Jack and his team installed my alarm system ALERT 360 back in October and I couldn't be happier with it. He made sure I had all of the basics covered and explained thoroughly why some upgrades made sense without being pushy. Moreover, he gave me an incredibly good deal for all of it. As for the alarm system itself, it's so easy to use it's dummy-proof. I haven't been in an emergency situation just yet to test the actual police response feature--but I guess that's a good thing! First, this review is long overdue but well worth coming back to ensure it gets completed (life interrupted me a lot). New home purchase (of an existing home) and I wanted a good security system; SecuriMax was recommended and I could not have been happier. Working with Jack, the owner, we were able to come to a negotiated price with multiple options to fit my specific needs. His team was able to use my preexisting wiring and hardware in the house and perform simple upgrades to an 18 year old system that meets the modern day needs. During the process there were some hiccups, but it was NOT with Jack or his team working the issue, it was simply that the manufacturers updated some of their firmware on various components in my setup and SecuriMax had to navigate these updates so that the system would work as expected. Life happens. Technology updates at the most random times. It turns into a learning experience for everyone. In the end, I have a very secure and affordable system that I can feel confident in when I am at home or away.
