    First time here! I…read morepopped in to get some info on their mobile plan cuz hey... mama needs a deal! Tired of paying $133 per month for me alone through Sprint (now T-Mobile). There are quite a few people waiting for their turn to speak with a rep. I notice a tablet to sign in. It asks if I have an existing reservation. Hmmm. The wait might be substantial and I have an appointment in 40 mins so I opt to walk over and ask a rep whom is quietly working at a register alone. I approach her and ask if I might ask her about the mobile plan. She is happy to assist! She gives me tons of information and seems so genuine. She finds some literature from another colleague and says I can message them to set up a reservation when I'm ready to come back in. I feel so good with all the info I've got and I'll be ready to come back and make an appointment to move the cell phones in my household over to Spectrum who is utilizing Verizon for cell service. The Spectrum employee who assisted me and went above beyond my expectations is Ali. She is a true gem and deserves a promotion and raise (wink, wink!).

    I had Spectum services over years and they promise me this yr if i moved theres no fee no etc, they…read morelied so i was over charged too much they made me pay no matter what i'm way done , with them. i call the toll free number there no help at all they pulled me like a tug of war back and forth, tech mobile tech so on , no one wants to help they just bill me . so i went to store they were no help , the lady was so rude i tried to tell her , she was still rude she was still rude ,i started yelling and screaming why unhappy customer with everything so many yrs. they did not disconnect it as promised and not following directions i gave equipments back pay my bills i almost had heart attack with specturm from everything. im never coming back horrible everything and customer services. from scale 0-10 u give me i give it 0 i tried sign it it did not let me im not recomending no one to specturm to u guys u guys cheated me and doubled my bills and services i just paid

    I want to commend the Optimum technician that came to my house yesterday. His name is Tyler and he…read morefixed everything quickly. He was knowledgeable and professional. I can not say enough nice things about him. I was very frustrated after a chat and phone calls with Optimum customer service over a two day span. Tyler knew exactly what was wrong when he walked in. He explained everything to me and made sure all my devices were connected to my new modem/router before he left. I've had two great experiences with Optimum and they have been interactions with technicians, real people, not AI chats and phone calls.

    Ugh... I have been trying to help my dad with his Optimum cable issues. For weeks his printers kept…read moredropping off the network. We have tried four different printers, resets, etc. So maybe it's the router. We exchanged the router and were told "it's activated and ready to go." Sure, that is after another hour spent with tech support on the phone. This doesn't happen some of the time, it happens all of the time! But, that fixed the problem, so it was an Optimum router issue. Now, one day later, the cable box is giving me an error every time I try to switch the channel with the guide. And the video goes on and off. I have been through all of the troubleshooting procedures with no luck. -Update. After some research and troubleshooting, I found that the cable box uses the modem/router to update the guide. It turns out that the cable box is incompatible with the new modem/router. Hmmm, you think that they would have known that when they issued us the new modem/router. I guess it's another trip to their store. I did find that connecting an Ethernet cable between the router and cable box fixed the problem after a reboot. -Optimum, your Yelp comments from "Business Owner" are not helpful. You see your one-star average review and are doing nothing about it. No business with one-star is worthy of the customers that support them!
