Jack was so helpful and listened to my needs and I didn't feel he was trying to upsell me at all. Within a week, Matthew my installer was setting up my cameras. Matthew did an excellent job with placement of the cameras and wired everything from the attic. I don't know how he reached a very hard spot on my home, but he did! I am so impressed with the camera quality and the user friendly app all for an affordable price! I have now been using the cameras for over a month and must say the clarity is unbelievable! You can literally zoom in and see license-plate numbers of cars in the streets! The app allows me to check in even when I'm not on Wi-Fi. Securimax gave top level customer service from the first call to checking in with me after install. Jack and Matthew were both very personable, professional and delivered exactly what I had envisioned. Bonus, they are both great with dogs and made sure to give my pup lots of love! Had an issue with my doorbell camera being in cool down mode because it got so hot. Yamil emailed instructions to maybe fix the problem but after a few days it was still malfunctioning. I hired this company to install at my home security cameras, the Sales Manager ROEL ZAMBRANO, told me 3-4 the job will be done. They (2 persons) were at mi home fore 5 hrs. ! one of them with oust face mask, wearing only a rug like bandana. The door bell is really blurry, the Driveway camera didn't work the motion sensor. I tried to do some inspection with Mr. Zambrano, I texted him on Sunday 11/22, asking for an inspection on Monday 11/23 morning, he didn't response until Monday 11/23 @ 11:22 A.M. and he said I available at 1:00 P.m. I called him and no response. I texted again asking for appoint for Wed. 11/25 morning (is the only time that Im available), he responded that he is available only at 1:00 P.M., unfortunately Im not available at that time (1:00 P.M.). I texted that Im not available at 1:00 P.M., Now 5 hrs. later no response. read more

Securimax was going door to door in my new neighborhood in Leander in May '18. I do not remember the name of our salesman, good kid. He was nice and explained everything and took his time. No issues or sales pitches. Technician was able to install the system and one camera in 2 trips. No issues. Super nice older gentleman. There was an issue with the camera. Between the same technician & myself calling Central Security Group several times, we could not get the camera to fully connect. I bought 2 different Wi-Fi extenders as suggested, did not help the issue. Through several attempts, calls, etc. = no dice. So the technician agreed removing the camera was our best bet. No worries. Spoke to Dave @ Securimax, we agreed to remove the camera, and I would get reimbursed the sales price of the camera. The camera was removed in late June. I did not receive a check for the camera until the end of August. Through some back and forth with Dave, he got the owner Jack to sign off on the check. Took some time, but I did get the refund. However, signed a 3 year contract. The monthly installment included the use of a camera/data storage. No camera, that additional fee should be removed. Today is 12/5/18, and I finally got this issue resolved. Not by Securimax but by Central Security Group. Through several attempts with Securimax (calls and texts), I got nowhere. I was finally told that I need to call Central Security Group. Ok. Did that. Central Security Group tells me I need to get with Securimax. I finally get a supervisor on the line at Central Security Group. Took him over a month to make an easy monthly installment reduction and credit to my account. He himself had issues with Securimax in terms of getting an addendum created to the contract to remove the camera charges moving forward. They had to make the addendum, even though was told it was the dealer's (Securimax) responsibility since they sold me the camera. He advised me Securimax told him they gave me a credit. For the camera yes, for the monthly fee no, and we have monthly auto drafts deducted from our checking account. That fee remaining the same up until today. Not even a lot of money (would be over that 36 month span), but the time and effort it took on my part to get something this simple resolved was ridiculous. I was given the "round around" several times by Securimax. "We'll call you back" or text like "I'm in a meeting let me get back with you" or "I'll get with the monitoring company to get this resolved for you." The last few times I did speak with someone at Securimax (several months ago), someone answers the phone not like a business but with a simple "hello," like I'm calling a friend & they answer. My wife and I went with Securimax because they were not the big ADT's of the world. Wanted someone local that had great customer service. We have not had a very pleasant experience to say the least. read more

Initially we contacted Securimax because we were interested in installing just a couple of cameras. In the end, Jack convinced us to go with an alarm system as well. What's remarkable is that this decision was left entirely up to us. We made it only after Jack took the time to walk the property with us, identify all its potential vulnerabilities, and discuss our specific concerns. We really appreciated that there was no pressure, and no obvious attempt to upsell us on anything. And when we decided to make a last-minute change to the proposal the night before our scheduled install, there was similarly no pushback, nor any attempt to make us second-guess our decision. In the end, Jack even suggested places where we could save some money by buying equipment elsewhere, rather than from him. These are rare qualities in any contractor, especially in the home security business.
