I always wanted a good home theater. We have a living room that we used as a TV room. In addition, I wasn't even sure if my living room could provide the quality of sound I wanted. After extensive googling and yelping, I came across AV Connect, who had a decent web site and good reviews. Nate Cake took my call, and discussed with me options and pricing. I don't remember the timeline, but I believe he came out the next week for the design consultation, and went over all my options. In a couple more days I had my quote. I think we completed installation 2 weeks later. The installation crew were courteous and professional. The home theater is awesome! Then 1.5 years later, the AVR blew (under manufacturer warranty). I called AV Connect back up, and they picked it up and got it repaired for me! I didn't have to deal with the manufacturer or a repair shop or anything! I will definitely use them again if I move, or when I'm ready for the next upgrade!

Michael worked with me on scoping the project and suggested a number of possible options as far as possible upgrades but never did it feel like he was trying to up sell me on any of these options. We revised the bid a number of times and Michael was even flexible enough to add a wireless access point at the last moment. On the day of the install Ethan and Santos arrived on time and were clean, quiet and courteous while working. The guys had to first clean up a wiring cabinet that was a rat's nest of useless legacy wiring - the cabinet door was not able to close due to the mess and they cleaned it up so that it now closes with ease. The got the ethernet jacks in all the rooms setup exactly as I had requested and then proceeded to install the wifi access point so perfectly it is almost unnoticeable. Ethan and Santos had to deal with a lot of old technology but were able to weed out everything that was no longer relevant and wire up all the new technology. They reprogrammed by universal remote and gave me a demo of the new setup. Ethan was willing to offer suggestions when I asked about possible other projects and left me with a feeling that if anything was not absolutely perfect I could call and he would be back to make it so ! These guys are awesome and you can use them with confidence knowing they will blow you away with their workmanship.

They left me with audio not syncing to lips and I had to spend a considerable amount of time playing with the marantz amp, Gemini AI and tv to 'fix it'. My Bravío 9 tv picture and adjustments might have been configured. Or not. Who knows? I don't use this space a lot so was looking for a turn key solution. I had suggested another amp and they said you get this one without telling me why I wanted it. I ended up researching and overall the wattage is better and the receiver is better for my system but no one took the time to communicate the why on equipment. I felt like they were a better option then Best Buy install but ultimately left lacking. If I have a question today about the system i wouldn't feel comfortable reaching out with questions. I was the last one of the day and the technician showed up at 6 o'clock in the evening as arranged. I thought it was a simple wires issue or something.
