They took a while to come out but it was well worth the wait. A handyman got my televisions installed but didn't know how to get my peripherals going. It was a bit complicated because we have old fashioned Acoustic speakers. He was able to get the old and new to work together perfectly! A little pricey but I think he said there is a period of time when they will come out again for no extra charge. read more

After two other businesses failed to resolve problems with my TV and audio systems, Siarah Bostick-Garcia with GT TV and Audio correctly diagnosed a faulty receptacle in the audio box and also reduced the number of remotes required to operate the tv/audio equipment from 2 to 1. Yea! Thank you, Siarah! read more

This was an excellent experience overall. It is a family owned business and the gal that helped us made sure we had the right TVs for our viewing needs. Although we had to wait a while for the installation, The guys that did the install were knowledgeable and efficient. Evan was extremely patient in making sure we knew how to operate all the new features, and even set up the apps that we use. I wouldn't buy a TV anywhere else!! read more

As always, this team is the best - they not only fix the issue but address our questions. Thanks Mike and Brian!

So Thomas came out today to get our home theater working again. In a nutshell I would say amazing! Prompt, courteous, nice, very affordable, efficient...I can't think of enough superlatives to praise them! If you live in the Leander, Georgetown, Cedar Park area don't think of using anyone else for your home audio or theater needs! read more

New antenna and adjusted location fixed my problem. I get almost 100 channels over the air now.

Very good experience with this service. There were several speakers which weren't producing sound verified by troubleshooting but couldn't get behind our console to determine if it was a connectivity issue or the speaker was blown. Tech did a quick assessment and made suggestions on improving some wiring and fortunately had parts in his truck. Helpful, polite and resourceful and easy to get an appointment. Not sure about the going rate so can't comment . Used Geek Squad (Best Buy) for a while but they are a hot mess since stores closed and personnel we had dealt with and liked are now gone. read more

We've used GT W TV & Audio for years. They are truly excellent at what they do....and they're extremely pleasant folks to deal with.

We were looking for a replacement for our Sony 43" XBR because it would not connect to hearing aids and buffering issues. Georgetown TV has been our source for technical information and products for years. They have been honest and helpful. They took the time to connect our headphones and hearing aids to their showroom TV's giving us options on various brands. We are limited on the size of the TV because of cabinets where the TV is placed. We decided on a Sony 43" and are pleased with it. Of course, we had to call Georgetown TV for help with "operator" issues on the updated remote control. Georgetown TV is the best in the area for help and products. read more

After I posted my negative review, Joey called me and set up an appointment at our house. He checked the tv out and tweaked some things. He also thoroughly explained what might have gone wrong on his previous visit. He was adamant that the tv was not the problem. His thought was that it could have been YouTubetv or the Optimum cable service. Although still skeptical i gave him the benefit of the doubt. I felt that Georgetown TV wanted to help us out. Maybe we will buy another tv over the phone after all. read more

Great job today by Joey . Put in a wall mount for TV in Grand Kids room. He ran wires inside the wall and it turned out Fantastic. Georgetown TV and Audio in my go to company for any TV or Audio work. They always arrive when scheduled and They have done an outstanding job everytime I have used them. Joey left the area he worked in spotless. Thanks again for job well done. read more

Great experience with Georgetown TV & Audio during our recent TV/sound system purchase. They took the time to explain all the video tech options to us, and didn't try to upsell on things we didn't need. In fact they counseled us on options we wouldn't use like gaming features, etc. Installation team was great as well, considerate of our home and furnishings while they installed the equipment. They took plenty of time to make sure we understood how everything worked and how to modify the options as we became accustomed to the system. Highly recommend GT & A. read more

They were able to take down two of my mounted TVs and help install it at my new place.

Our home builder sitterle homes had some epic failures and I mean epic for proper location of cables, more so in my case ethernet cables. Many of the rooms if they had ethernet at all had cable port on one side of the room and the ethernet port on the opposite side of the room when they should have been on the same side and sharing the same faceplate. This of course was only correct in the office. Sadly I needed the cable now to all be where they should be and I called Georgetown TV and Audio to come out and install the cat 6 to the patch panel they had in the house. Again sadly due to the high ceilings in a few of my room and or attic access the livingroom and one of the bedrooms couldn't have cables run to them. Yes thank you sitterle homes ( all lower case for the show of lack of respect for the builder ), but they did run and correct the issues for the other rooms and even put a drop in my garage since it has a weak signal so I could setup a mesh network. I was very happy with the work performed and they did a great job cleaning up !! read more

Mike is a top notch professional and a heck of a guy. We have been a customer of GTA for a long time and have never regretted one single time we have had them come out. I was able to trouble shoot ,what I thought a major problem, with Mike over the phone in just a few min. The best thing about working with a company like GTA is the personalized customer care. In todays world you don't run across folks that really care about their job and reputation but you really have found a class act in Mike and GTA. Thanks for being there for us. Tom read more

Evan and Jim are over the top!! They are fast and efficient. They got my wiring issues resolved quickly....they know what they are doing!!! Georgetown TV & Audio is great! Prompt service, knowledgeable technicians, and great customer rapport! Always answer our questions and have our home theater really enjoyable--after two other local companies did not! I really appreciate them and highly recommend then! read more

Georgetown TV has helped us several times in the last 2 years with old equipment, and they were always excellent. When it was time for a new TV / sound bar we talked to Nickole on 2 occasions. She was always super and very patient helping educate us on our choices and leading us to our final decision. She was great! Today Sam and Dave installed our new Samsung TV, Sonos sound bar and Sonos Sub-Woofer. They had to take down an older TV and mount the larger set on a tiled wall which made the install that much trickier. They called to find out if being early was ok, which it was. They were terrific! Perfect install and went the extra mile to help us properly locate the sub as well as make sure our Apple TV remote was programmed perfectly. They cleaned everything up and hauled the old equipment away. This is why I love local small businesses. They handle everything, from sales to install and I KNOW they'll take great care of us afterwards. AND, the price was right where the competition was so the deal was on point. They do what they say, are honorable and polite and experts in the business. read more

Set an appointment over a week ago. Technicians are running behind and appointments can be later than expected. A 2 hour window was nice, however, I have an important family event tonight and can't wait until the end of the 2 hour window for him to show up and start working. read more

Great local business. I stopped their store by to get a comparison on a TV and sound bar set-up. I already had the model numbers I wanted. There were no up-sells. They price-matched the TV, they offered a higher-quality sound bar for the same price, and offered an installation date which was four days earlier than the "Big Blue with a Yellow Price Tag" store. Their installation team was on time, they were knowledgeable, and moved like a well-oiled machine. Finally - the installation team showed all the details of the TV and made sure I knew all the particular functions. The technician repeatedly said to call if there are any problems. I'd use them again. I have no doubt have the best deal. Plus, it is a local business. read more

These guys are great. They communicate very well and did an excellent job installing my 85" TV. They were clean, polite, fast and offered advice about how to improve my viewing experience. These guys are pros and the company is very well run. Plus, the prices are extremely competitive. read more

So it begin with a quick visit to the store front. I was quickly and kindly greeted. She was all ears on what I wanted. I was a little nervous considering I know I'm not coming in to spend what some people I'm sure are eager to drop. It took about 10 minutes and I new I was doing business with them. They came out to my place and priced out a movie room for me( in ceiling, 2 fronts, a center speaker and two rears. Also had a receiver and sub). VERY reasonable on the price. Week to the day/hr they came out. James and Richard were quick and professional through out the entire process. Explained the system and made sure I didn't have questions before making there way out. Very pleased with the entire experience. Thank you.... I will def refer people your way. read more

I don't know why I took so long to write a review. They came (9/2020 )to install surround sound to my media room, hang 2 Tvs and set up speakers in my gameroom. Their prices were fair. We were quoted good prices on TVs, speakers, subwoofer, sound bar, Sonos systems, however, since we have access to a retailer who sells to military patrons with no tax, we wanted to save money (tax) and buy elsewhere. Installation was professional. Very pleased with their work. I even had an issue with the TV/sound bar (I bought the same model TV as their quote). They helped me diagnose it over the phone with no hesitation. I have been recommending them to everyone I know. If we have more work, we would definitely go back. read more

I love coming to Georgetown TV and Audio just off Toll 130 and Hwy 29 East in Georgetown, TX. They always provide good service and have a wide range of television and audio products to choose from. The team is polite, friendly, and professional. They are the exception to your standardized big box chain places and will always make you feel right at home. They will always answer the phone, be available, be responsive, and treat you right. Jessica and Thomas are so nice and explain everything. They usually have some of the best service prices and service times and service prices. They will do what it takes to make you a valued customer. I highly recommend this business. read more

Georgetown TV & Audio - Home Theatre Installation Near Me - Georgetown, Texas

After vacation our universal remote was hung up after a power failure. Always happy to deal with Georgetown TV. They stopped by on the way to another call and reset it. Great small-town quality service read more

Georgetown TV & Audio recently installed in-ceiling speakers in our media room. From the initial call through final install they were great. When they came for the estimate they explained options and made me feel comfortable. The quote was fair and they were able to get us on the schedule sooner than we thought. Install day was a breeze. The installers were professional and friendly. They had four speakers installed and they were cleaned up and out in an hour! I'd definitely recommend. read more

I thought these guys were going to be way overpriced- 'cause they're a small - independent store. Wrong! They have very competitive prices - I'm talking Wal-mart savings - yes - up in this store! For Real!!! Unbelieveable, I know! and the techs that came to our place - They mounted that big tv on our wall in two shakes of a rattler's tail! Fast, friendly - very informed about their products - taught us how to use the remote - that's the biggest thing right? We love these guys (and gals - talking' bout you Miss Knoll)!!!! Thanks for being excellent!! read more

They recently replaced a button on my 1970's Pioneer receiver, even though (as I understand) they do not do this kind of work anymore. This receiver has been repaired at least twice by them, in addition to repairing and restoring the spec on my Teac Reel To Reel. I am always impresed by their customer service, and the professional work they do. Their father is looking down proud that they carry on his work ethics. I recommed this business to anyone who needs someone to mount their TV or other tv and audio work. This company will treat you fairly and will not overcharge for their work. read more

No one really wants to have to call service people of any kind - electrician, plumber, HVAC guy or tv repairman. I especially don't because I'm terrible at describing the actual problem. My husband is often on the AVS Forum and he read over and over that Georgetown TV & Audio was highly recommended and Sony certified so he called them up when our tv needed the convergence circuits replaced. They told us they'd arrive on Monday between noon and 2. I was immediately impressed with a 2 hour time frame instead of a 6 or 8 hour one. Around 1pm they called and said they'd be there in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later they arrive and begin working on the unit. After replacing the convergence circuits they replaced some fuses and calibrated the set. Because the fuses needed to be replaced the cost was $30 more than the estimate, but the estimate also didn't include tax so it wasn't very far off. We were really pleased with their service and since I hope to never see them again I will highly recommend them for anyone in need of TV repair. read more

We began shopping for a new tv when our old one conked out. So much to choose from. My first stop was here, and Jessica took a lot of time with us explaining the many options available in our price range. After our visit there, we checked a couple of other big box stores, and found Georgetown TV's prices totally competitive, so I went there thinking their service would be the best. Which is was. Totally 5 star. They delivered the new Sony 65 in a couple of days, along with a new DVD player. Their service personnel were excellent. ON time. professional. Very helpful. I can't recommend enough this company for your tv and audio needs. It feels good to have a local company to call on. read more

I have to give a Big Shoutout to Georgetown TV & Audio. Everyone there gives the best customer service ever. Bought a television there in December and today I bought a second one for our bedroom, Jessica informed me delivery would be today, wow that's fast. Georgetown TV & Audio staff, services and products are TOP NOTCH. We have been consumers since they opened many years ago and the quality and service that they provide is above reproach. I have never had a moment of hesitation working with their team, from the owners to their technicians. James has been to our home a few times and it feels like an old friend has come to help each time. He and his colleagues treat our family, home and electronics as if it were their own. It is not an easy balance to have a kind and warm community feel and approach and yet be the standard that all others in this field should set for themselves when it comes to technical knowledge and professionalism. Thank you many times over from our family, GTVA! read more

I've been a long time customer of Georgetown TV and Audio but now I am even more impressed. The surround sound system that they installed 4 years ago wasn't working, so I gave them a call. The appointment was scheduled quickly and Thomas, their technician, called to see if he could show up early. He quickly determined that a line was disconnected and had everything up and running in no time. He also noticed a couple of other things that were off (settings incorrect on certain speakers and an IR connection was off) and fixed them as well. When I asked for the bill, he said it was so quick that there would be no charge! I will definitely be back at Georgetown TV and Audio for my next electronics purchase! read more

The staff at Georgetown TV & Audio installed a home security system for me recently and did a great job. Everything was done on time and the system worked from day one. We bought a 23 YO house that had speakers throughout the house and on the patio, plus ALOT of wires coming out of the wall and wires tangled up in a cabinet. I told them I just wanted that "mess" of wires cleaned up and my husband would like to have all the equipment hooked up. We had a media room in another house and had 6 speakers he wanted used. Georgetown TV & Audio came out and connected the built in speakers and the 2 smaller speakers -- we didn't need the 4 big speakers. I am so pleased with the work they did. They came in assessed the situation and what we wanted done and actually made suggestions and were able to answer our questions without saying, "Well, I don't know if that will work." I highly recommend Georgetown TV and Audio. read more
