I wish I could give an updated review because of great things but that just isn't the case. I placed my order online. Picked it up and a few things were not correct. Ordered and paid for cheese on my carne asada taco... no cheese. Order a side of jalapeño cream cheese, charged and paid for it and it wasn't in the bag. Oh and the previous time I had ordered here and picked it up I had mentioned in my review that chips and salsa not included with my order (like when you eat in the restaurant). I was advised I have to request it when I place my order or pick up the meal. So when I placed the order I specifically looked for an option to have complimentary chips and salsa and that wasn't an option. So when I picked up my order I asked for them to please add them. Somehow I ended up with a large bag of chips and a half pint of salsa and charged and additional $8. I'm sorry but why is complimentary chips and salsa so difficult when getting takeout ordered here? I am truly just disappointed that this continues to be an issue and they are not getting orders 100 correct and customers are paying for items they aren't getting. read more

This is the only location I have had problems with. Every single time I order, wether it be online, drive thru, or inside there is always something missing or made wrong. I've had drinks missing, combos missing, desserts missing. You name it. The orders I place are always under $50 and not complicated. I commend them for at least trying to do better when I let them know something is wrong, but again it's every time I go there. I always have to make a second trip or call. It's just not worth my time anymore to try to order when I know somethings going to be wrong every single time. read more

Honestly, I love everything on the menu. I wish the albondigas soul wasn't just seasonal. Their taco Tuesday, deal is pretty awesome and the customer service has never been bad. The place does get pretty busy, so it's nice they have a drive thru window for pick up orders only, but it would be even better if it was a regular drive thru. I ordered three tacos and waited 15 minutes not too bad for super busy Tuesday. Update- Tacos did not have any cheese on two of them. read more

Don't waste your money here. Let me just start by saying I've been going to Someburros for years. It's not the Someburros chain, it's this location. It is the worst. The service is mid. Which isn't the most shocking however they forget items in the bag every time. They give out extra stuff which is nice I guess but can't ever get your actual order correct. Rice - taste like the skillet and smokey. SO GROSS. No one wants smokey flavored rice. Chips - cold (they have a warmer for the chips so idk how this happens) Bean and cheese burrito - dry as hell & they never add the cheese ever AND they charge extra for the cheese. how are you guys going to charge people extra and still forget to add it? Taco - so terrible I'm not even going to get started on how terribly made their tea and horchata is. Honestly, overall this someburros is just not good. y'all should just start over and take some tips from the Tempe location because they are on point! read more

Been to a few of their restaurants. No mater which one I go into the food is excellent and consistent. Their shredded beef tacos are great, no dripping oil or grease. I just needs more cheese. If you order a combination with a tostada ask to have it served on a separate plate. read more

Another bad experience at this location. I ordered a combo and wanted double rice instead of beans. Well instead of beans they put lettuce When I asked if that's double rice they said said yup ! My side of fries were also half what they should be. Which I mentioned but when I pointed that out they said that's the right amount. Never coming back again. I would advise everyone not to. We have eaten at Someburros in the East Valley for the past 30 years. We ate at the one on Baseline in Gilbert today and my chimichanga was excellent, but my daughter-in-law is a vegetarian and always orders two corn tacos with rice and cheese only at the Market Street Someburros and has no trouble getting it. The one on Baseline today would not make it for her and although the one taking our order took our payment for our order, the cook eventually said he would not make it for her. When she asked the one pretending to be the manager, he also said they wouldn't make it, so we got a refund. My question is are these young people working at this Someburros really this stupid? Is it a problem with IQ or have our schools done their job of dumbing down these people to this extent? read more

Been coming here for many years have great tasting food....til today. I trully wonder if didn't tip enuff, or maybe said a bad joke. Got three meals all of them had something wrong w em. Girl ordered chicken and got steak, ordered burro no sause and bunch of color sauses on that but the absolutely wrist part is is get an extra staple in my food. What can I say other than thanks I shall never return can't believe this at all I can understand cold and sauses. But to add a dam staple. Must have an exx girl working there. I've never liked this place. It's a white washed version of Mexican food. But this time was overall my main reason why I don't like coming here. The manager was cussing up a storm. Not only that she was more focused assisting a regular or another coworker off duty to get his food quickly. It made no sense to me. They used to be better. They're kind of going downhill, unfortunately. 1. I ordered dinner for my sister and her family since her husband had just passed away. I ordered it online and one of the food delivery companies delivered it to my sister's house. I gave a good tip. Unfortunately they forgot my sister's order!!!!! She did not let me know, so she ended up just eating some of her kids' rice and beans that came with their combo meals. 2. I went there for lunch recently. They need to change something about theirs burros. Either use smaller tortillas or put more filling in the tortillas! My burro was about 80% tortilla and 20% filling. Just recently found this place and I'm glad I did. I've been here a few times and have had a good experience each time. The food is good and the service is good a well. Tonight I have one small complaint, they forgot one of my tacos, so they only get 4 stars. I live far enough away that it wasn't worth going back for. I'll mention it on my next visit. The place is very clean and there is hand sanitizer for customers if you're germ-a-phobic. If you want a semi fast food, sit down restaurant give Someburro's a try. read more

I've driven by this place many times and have always thought about giving it a try. This evening I was in the mood for a good burrito and stopped in to order one to go. I wasn't familiar with their menu, so I took a close look at it to make sure I got one that I would like. I ordered the Barracho Burro. (This is described on the menu as soft flour tortilla with green chile beef, smothered with green sauce). I was handed my order and I headed home. I opened the bag to find something that looked very different. There was red sauce all over a burro that had been deep fried. I started to eat it and the only thing on the inside was cheese and beans, no meat! So basically, I paid $11 for a deep fried bean and cheese burro. We ordered a bean and cheese burro and got a shredded beef burro with nothing else in it! Our cheese encilada was cold and hard with very little sauce. I ordered the same dinner that I have ordered almost every week from this location for over 10 years - tonight I ordered what I have always ordered and apparently it didn't come through on their end correctly. I called and asked to get my $5 order remade because I showed I ordered it the way I always do and they would not do it, even though i had a print out of my order on my end that I could bring in. Apparently at this location, the customer is only right when they can prove it but if the customer had a print out of what they actually ordered and it's not the same - the customer is SOL...I won't be back...way to lose a long time customer and marketer...over a damn $5 order of chimis - smart management there!! read more

We picked up an order that was over $70 and half the food was incorrect, undercooked to the point of inedibility, or straight up gritty and disgusting. The customer service is also lacking as they gave me such a hard time about paying for food I could actually consume safely as if proper cooking temperatures are optional. What a disgusting waste. This was my 3rd attempt at liking this "chain". First two visits were to the location near ASU and first time here. I though the ASU location was ok, based on the price paid, but nothing great. This location is a lot worse. Food: My daughter thought her burrito was extremely dry. As the only salsa they have available is too spicy for her; she opened it and just plucked at the beef. My special "Borracho Burroburrito" was a mess. It was supposed to be "covered with green sauce and melted cheese", but was covered in some bean tasting nasty gravy. The inside of the burrito also had a ton of beans and little meat. I get it, its only $10, but this was unacceptable not only for lack of meat, but lack of taste. Overall: Clean place; but soda fountain was out of Diet Coke syrup; which they replaced upon being told. Parking lot is tight, so be careful. For me, I think there are better options available. Even a Chipotle fix is better than this place. Sorry. read more

One star they get----zero stars they deserve. Stay away from here. Very poor customer service. Horribly treated by TRISTEN, acts like he's the boss, but clearly needs more training. He literally is bring the company's name down. Management should think twice about keeping people on their staff that are so detrimental to the business. My family used to go to this restaurant ALL the time, 2 or three times a week. Now to be treated so poorly by this one employee. You just lost life long customers over a water cup. Pull up to the window and the 3 individuals working the registers/window were engaged in showing each other content on their phone's completely ignoring the new vehicle at the window for ~5 minutes. We ordered $75 worth of food, including a fiesta platter, for a party we were having. When we opened the platter, this is what we found. When I called to let them know there wasn't a lid on the sour cream and it spilled all over the platter & food, the manager told me they never put a lid on the sour cream and therefore, would not replace the platter. Instead we were offered a $10 coupon to use towards our NEXT platter. Why would it not be standard to put a lid on the sour cream in a TO GO order?? I am sad to say we won't be returning to Someburros. This kind of service after spending $75 on food is unacceptable. read more

I purchased 3 platters of food for a Cinco De Mayo party on Taco Tuesday. When I went in they were packed but I got my food quick. Oh My God that was soooo good. We had way to much food and one of my friends feeds the homeless so I let her take all the left overs. My employees were so bummed that they didn't get any I went there again today and got the burriotos knowing full well that will be lunch and dinner for the next 2 days. Ate for lunch and I can't wait for dinner. A very generous portion of Guac too. There salsa is not very good but I have some good salsa to go with their excellent food. read more

Upon ordering, we were told by the cashier that they we're out of beef, and taquitos???Then when pondering for 30 whole seconds about what else to get, we received an eye roll and some toe tapping from the gal.
