(I am sorry, I forgot our servers name, it started with a "K" and she could not have been any more personal and accommodating.) The ambiance was perfect. The food was amazing. We had the Parker House Rolls were sinful. Sea Bass Crudo was mouthwatering. The Mussels Rockerfeller was delicious. The Braised Short Ribs were fantastic. The Strawberry Bettercake was a perfect end. There are so many more things on the menu I want to try, but I am torn as I loved what we had. I guess that means I will have to go back several times! The menu is seasonal and has pretentious takes on standard dishes and also unique plates. We are usually not impressed with such menus and only went here as part of an invited party. The food we at was good, but we prefer more traditional and down to earth menu items. The main thing was that the service was excellent. The main lady who helped our table was super friendly, professional, and attentive as you would expect a a high end restaurant. Due to the large size of our party, numerous other staff helped her service our table and they did an excellent job. We also had some of their custom cocktails. They were just ok. Overall, this type of restaurant is really just not our kind of place, but if you are into pretentious unique food and upper class atmosphere, then you will really enjoy yourself here. Parker rolls was decent size per order, our table ate half before i could get a picture at all. Very freshly baked and rich in flavor, especially with the truffle butter. Malbec short rib was properly tender and topped with a sauce that nicely compliments the meat for a flavorful experience. The kale and mash potatoes were very well made too. Highly recommend this entree option. Tomahawk was a bit disappointing, exterior of meat was underseasoned and chimichurri sauce wasnt flavorful enough to elevate the flavor profile. Mash potatoes on 4 corners of the cutting board were very well made though, creamy and not a hint of grainyness. Server was very attentive and checked back at timely intervals. Very pleasant place with a friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. My son and I both ordered the ribeye steak, and neither of us enjoyed it. It was surprisingly bland, lacked flavor, and was simply not what you would expect from a ribeye. I was honestly shocked that a ribeye could taste so uninspiring. The service and ambiance were nice, but the food did not live up to expectations. Please do something about the quality of the steaks. To be honest, the ribeye I buy at Costco tastes much better. So strange. Anyways, interior was kind of a trip because it's perfectly 80s. From the types of dried flora hanging from the ceiling, the huge pink reflective circle art installation, and even the color of the napkin linen. Food and drink were good. The real highlight were the staff. Everyone was amazingly kind and helpful. I'm rounding up this review from a 3.5 because it's just not worth the price. Had enough privacy necessary. Giancarlo et all was our service team and they were fantastic. You get access ti some extra specials sitting at the bar. It gives a modern twist to some classic dishes, and the presentation is solid as well. I've been here a couple of times, and it's always been a hit! We hope to be back to try new seasonal menus along with some of their other staples. We ordered: - Parker house rolls (5/5): Super fluffy bread that's already flavorful and mildly swee in its own. The butter elevates the flavors with a bit of fluffy creaminess and an almost peppery flavor. Honestly my favorite dish of the night! - Short rib croquettes (4.5/5): The short rib is almost like Korean galbi and is a bit sweet and super tender. The croquettes were soft yet crispy on the outside. And the mustard with chili flakes provided is a must-add giving the dish a tangy kick and a hint of spice! The galbi was a bit too sweet for my liking but overall a solid dish. - Beet salad (4/5): this dish was divisive between us. My bf loved how refreshing this was and thought the salad was well balanced with the dressing and the leaves and beets. I quickly realized I didn't love how thick the beets were cut and thought the dish didn't feel balanced especially since you couldn't eat the beets together with the salad easily. - Seafood risotto (5/5): We both shared this and found the portion size perfect for both of us. It comes with a generous portion of risotto which was perfectly cooked and creamy with a strong seafood aroma. We loved that there was blue crab shredded and mixed with the risotto to enhance the flavor. The lobster and shrimp were more prominently displayed in the risotto. The lobster was perfect and could be enjoyed as is but the shrimp was a lot saltier and needed the risotto to pair with it. The cooked tomatoes also helped a lot to cut through the rich flavors of the risotto and the seafood, which we greatly appreciated. They acted almost like palette cleansers so that we could enjoy every bite of this dish. Some other notes: parking was a bit confusing but we realized we could park within the parking structure and have the ticket validated. No birthday desserts or treats but a nice birthday card was given. This place was busy on a Saturday night so definitely recommend reservations and expect some slower service at some points. The tables are lowkey small but at least one side will have a booth side. The ambiance is beautifully curated with wine bottles on the wall and modern fixtures. Definitely picturesque even if you're having some drinks at the bar. I also love the bathrooms. They're clean and cozy, giving you the upscale experience. Everything I've had on the menu is great! Only thing was the shrimp rolls had small portions, which is expected they're appetizers. The salmon was perfectly cooked with the crispiest skin. The bowl was a good portion but I didn't care much for the creamy dressing. It lacked flavor and didn't complement the salad well. We were debating desserts due to being full from our delicious meal. My friend made a comment about how they had doughnuts on the menu, and that "it would be so perfect to get because it's national donut day." After being disappointed with our first two dishes, we ordered the steak frites, which was very good and ended up being the highlight of the meal. I got their watermelon margarita and it was delicious! It comes with a salty foam instead of a salt rim, and wow I love it more than I thought I would! I ordered their seasonal salmon, and wow. The attention to detail coming from that dish is amazing. You can tell they put a lot of effort and thought into it. They sauce was super neutral but it provide a very creamy texture to the meal. The salmon has a super crispy skin, but the whole thing was super moist and not dry at all. The veggies were all cubed, soft without being mushy. As I was eating, I was getting a sweet favor as well! It is located close to Jamboree/Campus and nestled in between business buildings on the ground floor. There is parking available in the business plaza lot. We started with the house made biscuits that came with caramelized citrus honey and apple butter. Saying these were delicious is an understatement. The biscuits were warm, perfectly baked with a slightly crusted top elevated by the citrus honey and apple butter. For drinks, we ordered the Lemongrass Lillet Spritz and Cucumber Collins. The Spritz was okay, but just tasted like prosecco. The Cucumber Collins was refreshing and our favorite of the two so we ordered another one. Since this was our first time here, we wanted to try a sweet dish and something savory. We ordered the Strawberry Yuzu French Toast and PBLT. The french toast was decadent. The yuzu crème anglaise was phenomenal. To balance it out, we paired it with the PBLT, which was braised pork belly, mixed greens, tomato jam, honey-bacon aioli on toasted sourdough and served with fries. The pork belly was great, especially paired with the honey-bacon aioli. Overall, this was one of the best brunches we've had. Definitely recommend. Food, service, and everything else was a 10/10. Still everything was delicious nonetheless. After finishing our meals, we ordered a strawberry yuzu cake. This dessert was too sweet for my taste. Wouldn't recommend unless you have a sweet tooth. Regret not trying the pistachio tiramisu, maybe that would of been a better option.
