Every one of the techs is always smiling and they're more than happy to carry on a conversation with you (not like most places). Alrighty... My husband is in the military so we have lived in many places in the US, I have been to many Nail places and by far Soft Touch nails is my favorite!!! I ended up going to Soft touch because I went to the nail salon right next to Giant eagle on 7th street for a gel manicure and the first thing i noticed was the smell, that acetone smell that gives me headaches! Then the lady cut me (well accidents happen right?) So I was cool about it, she finished the French manicure, nothing fancy about it, hand massage was OK but well 2 days later the polish was peeling!!! Went back...they fixed it (weren't happy about it) and it peeled AGAIN!!! Well I swore to never go back there again... I went to Soft touch nails (at that point the French manicure looked horrible) and I immediately LOVED how the place looked like, no acetone smell (never), ALWAYS VERY clean and the staff is always friendly!! John (the owner) greeted me right away and asked me how he could help me, so I showed him my hands and told him I wanted a French manicure! Best service I have ever had! From that day, I always went back and john was my nail person! (I would go every 2 weeks)Their pedicures? Amazing!!! Hand massages ?? Awesome !! And i loved the wax dip at the end!!! We are now in Alaska, and I miss Soft nail touch so much! Up here for a manicure and pedicure, expect to pay almost $100 so their prices are def not bad! I had a great experience! They didn't rush their services, took me quickly as a walk in, let my friend and I sit together, and for our pedicure I was able to stay in the massage chair as my nails dried instead of putting on the flimsy flip flops and sitting in a normal chair as they dried. I went in for a pedicure and left with bleeding cuts on both feet. The wounds got infected. I had to go to my Doctor to get a shot and antibiotics. Next time I will go elsewhere. read more

Just OK. There are no frills added to service. Actually, my nails weren't even cleaned before starting. I was a walk-in for pink and whites. I waited about 10-15 min while a tech took a break, understandable but he returned smelling like cig smoke which was unpleasant. The staff is polite, friendly, and not pushy but kept stopping work to gossip. At one point my guy stopped to show a YouTube video to another tech. Sanitization was about average. The condition of the salon is above average. No nicks or cuts during application. My only real issue is that I notice slight mis-shaping to each nail. I expect 1 or 2 flaws but not every nail. In most cases, one side is thicker than the other or they didn't file straight. I can correct this on my own but it's not why I paid $55. Not sure if I will return. read more

Have never gotten nails done here, only got my eyebrows waxed but they did an AMAZING job. Have been getting my eyebrows waxed at different nail salons for years and this was BY FAR the best job anyone has ever done. My eyebrows have never looked this great. Highly recommend! read more

Worst customer service! The guy, awfully rude and bad behaved, who "ACTS" as the owner, should take more acting classes on how to treat customers. Staff that was careless and left us unattended. After less than one week my nail polish chipped and I was told they will fix it today. As I walk into the nail salon, I was informed by the man that they do not repair chips and they will do it just this one time. The service was horrible and honestly some of the technicians have the worst customer service skills. I would posting a picture of the polish repair and you be the judge to whether or not you allow this establish to do your feet. Just got acrylic set and it looks like its been done by a 10 year old. They look so sloppy and thick and theres so much gap between the cuticle and the nail it looks like Im already due for a fill in. I chose one color but was told that they are out. Ok so i chose another color... they are out of that one too. Now I'm paying $75 for a sloppy acrylic set and pedicure which i didn't even get to chose the color i wanted. They didn't even let me put the tip on the card when I literally watched the woman before me do so! So disappointed read more

NEVER AGAIN! I am from out of town and needed my nails done for a wedding. I should have walked out when I notice the technician remove the instruments from an open "sterile" package. Unfortunately, my better judgement did not prevail. He did my toes then brought me to another station to do my fingernails. He ended up handing me off to someone else because one of his regulars came in. At this point, I noticed him wiping off the instruments he used on me with his fingertips and putting them back in the same "sterile" package and putting the package back into the cupboard, presumably to be used again! The young lady who did my fingernails opened a fresh, sealed package and proceeded to give me a manicure. At the end of the day, not only did I potentially get exposed to infection, 2 1/2 hours later, my manicure still wasn't dry. Unbelievable! Shame on me for letting him proceed after noticing the package wasn't sealed but I did ask to see the manager. There was no manager there so they pointed me to a woman who I told my story to. She was polite but clearly either uninterested or there was too much of a language barrier. read more

Never again.. First off I got a Spa pedicure... And he gave me a basic pedicure... but charged me for a spa pedi... I walked in at 5:00 ... I left at 5:17 . he cut me not once... Not twice but three time's. When it came to painting my nails he literally painted half of my nail. Left them all gunky. I asked for him to redo it. He refused and didn't understand what I wanted... Unbelievable! I went in for a spa pedi and mani. The lady (Ann T. was the name on my receipt) doing my pedi was on her phone (with the ear piece in her ear) and not fully paying attention or taking her time while using the "cheese grater-like razor) and she took a huge chunk of skin off of my heal! Ouch! That was very painful and bled a lot for almost 5 minutes. As she was doing my manicure she asked if I could pay before she painted my nails, so I asked for a discount. The lady gave me the "stink-eye" look and I said "due to you cutting my heal." She then rolled her eyes and I said, "That's fair, right?!" I shouldn't have even had to ask for a discount, but then to get attitude!!! I couldn't believe it! It wasn't a simple little cut, this was a chunk of my skin that was taken from my heal with a sharp razor! She did give me a whole $10 discount, but there was not even a manager there for me to talk to. I definitely do not recommend going here. read more

Worst pedicure experience I've ever had. The first 5-10 minutes were spent with the tech holding my foot.. Not had movement at all, while she talked to the tech in the chair next to me. Half way through, she said she would be back.. She needed to do an eyebrow wax! I sat therefor a while.. A guy came over and started over!! After a few minutes he Attis up talked to another man... My pedicure was probably the sloppiest one I have ever received. I got a French pedicure and the lines were not straight and they left paint on my skin. When I was drying my toes, I accidentally bumped it against the top of the dryer which left a big dustball on my toe. They fixed it about half and told me to be more careful. Really?! I mentioned to them my dissatisfaction and they pretty much just blew me off. How about you clean your dryer and get staff that can paint nails better than my 16 year old niece. read more

My sister found this place, and at first I loved it! I would get a gel french manicure. It is a little pricey, but they never chipped and they looked great! It would only take about 35-40 minutes to get it completed, which was perfect for me, because I like my nails to look good, but it is a chore to sit there every two weeks. I never had to make an appointment, just walked in at 5 PM on a Friday! Very convenient, which I like. So my mom and sister were in town and looking for a place to get their nails done for a wedding. Of course, I would think Soft Touch! I call on Wednesday morning around 11 to make and appointment for Thursday. My mom and sister would be getting pedicures first at 11 and I would join them at 12 for a manicure. I spoke with a gentleman and he confirmed what the appointments were and the name. I arrive around 12, and they have already started on their manicures...okay so I will just wait for someone to offer assistance, as I am here as the 3 person for the appointment. I wait and wait and finally it is 12:15 and I am seated (no words were said)to get the gel foil to remove the gel, only to have the woman (who I really liked at first) go to START a pedicure. I am left sitting until after 12:30 with the foil on and no one helping me. After my sister and mother are done, the young girl came over to start on me. At that point it is after 12:30 and my appointment was for 12 (I had to get back to work, which is why I scheduled an appointment) and i decided I would not have the time to get a manicure non the less a gel manicure. So I have her fully remove the gel (which she still left some pieces on a few nails) and file the nails down, until I would have some more time. It is 12:55 before she finishes destroying my nails, to the point where they look like I bit them for a living. I go wash off the file mess and tell her I am done, and would just like to pay. She has another woman help her and they tell me it is going to be $12!!!! What!!! $12 to cut and destroy my nails, after I waited half of an hour for my appointment! I asked the woman about the wait and she told me I was a walk-in. I did not mention the amount, only inquired about the time. I told her I had an appointment that I made for my mom, sister, and for myself and that it was for 11 and 12. She replied only that it is $12 because I had gel nails. I simply said "That is fine, I am not worried about the money, but I had an appointment" and I was unable to even add a splash of paint because they took so long and did not honor my time slot. I paid the ridiculous amount for an unacceptable job and tipped the young lady (I always tip something....maybe I shouldn't) and left. After leaving, I felt quite emotional, as I used to highly recommend this place, and to be treated this way was very upsetting. Let me start by saying I am impossible to please! I Came in for the first time today and randomly got paired with Ann. The pedicure was great! Best foot and leg massage I've ever had, and that says a lot because I've had many many pedicures. She didn't rush and her massage didn't feel like she was trying to take my legs off! Lol. She did some acupressure, which was nice (I know because I'm an esthetician) she shaped my toenails well and polished them well also. I will be back to visit Ann in 2 weeks! read more

I live just outside of Dallas Tx, went to this place for dipping powder, the young girl didn't not know how to do dipping powder color . Charged 30.00 and used the clear coat from GEL nails & the light to dry my nails. For those who know about we all know there is no UV light used in this process... I told her she was doing it wrong, didn't listen. I should have known better when she used the cuticle cutter in stead of nail clippers to cut down my nails. wth!!! read more
