I have been going to Eva's consistently for the past two years. Hands down the best pedicure in the area. Appointments recommended, as I've never seen them take a walk-in. I like that they don't rush you thru your services to get to the next client. I deducted a star because they need to do better with cleanliness. The pedicure chairs and arm trays are filthy. Super disappointed. I don't know what happened to this place or if it's just the particular techs I've gotten lately, but I've been going here for several years and was always very happy with my pedicures. But the last few times have been awful. They hired a few new techs who seem scared whenever you talk to them and when you ask for things a certain way they just stare at you. They have been cutting my toenails crooked and I keep asking them to straighten them out. I'm prone to ingrown toenails so have requested several times that they cut straight across and they don't. Now my ingrown are back and my toes are throbbing in pain. She even left a sharp piece of toenail this last time because she didn't cut properly and it was digging into my skin causing swelling and throbbing. My toenails have been jagged and sharp from them not cutting properly so they snag everything. The bottoms of my feet are so rough even after leaving. The polish has been watered down and doesn't last more than a couple of days. read more

I made an appointment with Chris for a fill in at 1pm. I never made it to Chris's chair. At around 1:40, I walked out of the door. Some nice woman took my color off my nails, that was it. I have never in my life had such an awful experience. And was Chris remorseful or apologetic for the mismanagement of time and severe lack of customer service, No! I found this place on accident and I am so thankful! Back story, I had an appointment with a tech who canceled on me an hour before my appointment. I was very upset and needed my nails done ASAP (my bday party was the next day). So I asked a random girl with nice looking acrylic nails where she got her nails done, she told me Eva nails. I called them right away and they told me I could come in 30 minutes later. She did a pink and white full set, I never had them done before and was nervous. But OMG they turned out so pretty, I received so many compliments. I trust her to do her own designs now, she even had fun with my Xmas nails, on which I also received a lot of compliments for. I'm new to the area, and due with my second child next week.. so I decided to go in for a mani pedi as a last minute "me day". Zaza (spelling?) did my gel manicure and she was the nicest. Kept making sure I was comfortable and was really engaging. I did not get the girls name who did my toes, but she was just as great. Very thorough and I left feeling refreshed and like a new person. I have had gel nails done at least 40x - I have never in my life had this poor of service. I begged my nail professional to fix the filing error - as my nails were extremely crooked - she refused. I asked her multiple times to to fix my nails to what I had asked her to do originally ( a French manicure with a gold tip). I asked her to make sure each of my nails where equal length as I play instruments that require this - she refused. I asked her to fix the smudges where she obviously left nail polish all over my skin and she still refused. Ultimately Ieft with crooked nails, bleeding cuticles, and nails that where polished in a manner my 5 year could have done a better job that I paid $45 for.I have never left a poor review ever for a nail salon - but I begged that she fix and she refused. PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE / EVAS DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO GEL NAILS AND TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS AWFUL. I was so patient, understanding and forgiving - and still went above and beyond by tipping well because i know the times we are in - but I can't recommend this salon - they are rude and simply do not know how to do nails. read more

When I moved to Fredrick I spent a few months trying places out and I was in the area when I saw Eva Nails on yelp with great reviews so I decided to check it out .... they blew me away how awesome the nails came out and how sweeet and easy to talk to the ladies were. The conversation was great , they knew when I described what I wanted what I was talking about. The nails were reasonably priced according to industry standards but the technique and execution was above average. I walked in and was immediately greeted. The place was cleaner than any salon I've been to. The manager walked in late and started working on my pedicure. She tried to up sell me on extra services. I felt uneasy around her. Asked for change to give a tip and refused to give me the change I wanted to so I'd have to give a higher tip. If I ever return it'd only be because it was clean & Kelly who did my manicure. Definitely not because of the owner. read more

Not a good experience. I called to get a price on a Shellac Pedicure and was quoted $30. I got there and after discussion between 2 of the techs (one possibly owner?) they came to a price of $45. I decided to get a regular pedicure. I was in the chair with my feet in the water and the tech was ready to start when the other tech (owner?) yelled at her not to do me but to do another lady who was waiting. They told me to sit and wait. After the problem with the price and then this, I decided to leave. I have an issue with salons that don't have their prices posted.
