Asked for an acrylic fill with chrome on top. The lady took off my previous nails without asking. Cut them too damn short after I asked to make it a specific length. Their card reader doesn't work when they say they take card. So I had to drive around Frederick for a PNC atm. I asked for almond shape. All of them either go too much to the right or to the left. Do not go here. Terrible customer service after agreeing to fix my nails. After 2-3 days my fresh fill in looked so separated from my cuticle. Top coat was not applied properly causing the chrome to rub off by the cuticles, revealing how inexperienced the male tech is. This happened both times I had fill ins with chrome. The first time I brushed off though I was not happy with my nails looking how they did a few days after. The second time, I spoke up and contacted them via Facebook and instagram. They didn't respond to my Facebook message. I contacted them on the fifth day as it was thanksgiving when this took place. They responded to my message which included the same photos attached stating they would fix them. They made me an appointment for 5 days after that conversion. My nails never look separated like that less than a week after having a service. I showed up to the appointment and they acted like they has no clue why I was there. Then proceeded to tell me "this is normal for ten days". No-it most certainly is not for me and I told them about this looking the way they did only days after leaving. They wanted me to pay for a new fill in service rather than fixing it as discussed. read more

I didn't want to write a bad review as it was my first time at the salon and the owner was very nice and personable but I just wanted to share my poor experience, particularly with my pedicure. I was not asked what shape I preferred or if I wanted my nails cut and there ended up being no shape, my nails were cute and filed very short, almost painfully so, and half of my nail was not polished. When I tried to ask the gentleman doing the pedicure to fix certain details I was given a very rude face and I further felt intimidated to make comments. I have heard good things about the salon which is why I came out of my way to try it out but I was dissatisfied. The owner and most of the workers were very sweet though. Update: Just wanted to add that it's been 4 days and my dip powder manicure is already chipping on multiple fingers. Very frustrating after paying 90 some dollars. read more

I honestly don't even know if it's fair because it seems like it was the woman that did my nails and the either lack of skills or knowledge. It was my 1st time there. I was greeted by a nice woman and it seemed like the salon was well kept, clean, and safe with Covid precautions. From there it was nothing spectacular. My nails are short due to my job. I picked a gel pink color. The technician either did not have sharp tools to trim my cuticles or just doesn't know your not supposed to pull, but trim. The nail polish is extremely uneven and the color is off. When it was time to add lotion they used this awful no moisturizing glitter lotion. I have been coming to this place for 3 years. Super clean and I usually have wonderful service. I usually come in to get pedicures and get their deluxe one. I always call and make an appointment as I did today. I was greeted by the owner who started the water. But then my nail tech came over and didn't say hello or ask what type of pedicure I would like. I said hello how are very friendly and she just said "what color" she then looked at my toes and said "is this gel?" I said yes but id like regular polish this time please. She then started PICKING off the gel polish with her fingernail!!! I asked her not to do that and she started drilling like she was going to take it off that way and I asked her if she could soak it. She reluctantly took out the cotton balls and plopped them on the tops of my toes without wrapping them at all. Then two min later she went back to drilling. She didn't say anything else just tapped my foot when she wanted my to move. Then the lotion, which is usually a nice massage...she barely wiped it on my still wet legs and came over with a towel that was too hot. After she was done she started picking at my big toe again like she was still removing the polish with a tool this time. When I asked her what she was doing she said it was SKIN she was picking away. I said "then you drilled my toe down to the skin??" The owner came over and tried to tell me it was the cuticle she was cleaning. At that point l said this was the worst pedicure I've ever had here. If you do not book an appointment with the person(s) responsible for the Instagram worthy nails, don't even bother. I was a walk in about a week or so ago because I'd seen the IG page, and seen the work and figured this would be a great place to try. I had never been in before and wanted my acrylics off to get a gel mani. The person who greeted me was pleasant and made small talk as she filed the color off my acrylics. She then told me someone else would be doing my nails. This other associate did not talk for my entire appointment other than to tell me what to do. Another employee walked over and set a mini water bottle next to me without saying a word. I sat in the chair and my acrylics were clipped short and then I was asked to place my hands in a bowl of acetone. A bowl. Typically for soaking, I've always been wrapped with foil and cotton. My hands were in and briefly out of this bowl of acetone for roughly 30 minutes. Thirty. Minutes. I was subjected to manual filing of my acrylics and tips, and subsequently, my natural nails for the duration of this time. My nails were as thin as could be, my cuticles raw and burning, and my natural nails filed down to hardly anything. I was sent to wash my hands, no soap. After washing, she filed my nails a bit more, but never asked what shape or how long. She filed as she saw fit. She also used a square cuticle pusher to scrape my nails and continuously poked the corner of the pusher into my cuticles. It hurt. She told me to go pick a color. Seeing as how my natural nails were ruined and now non existent, I forfeited what I wanted and instead chose a dark single color to cover the sins. When she was "finished", I asked her to fix my crooked thumbnail and she barely filed it. She also made the comment about how my natural nails were super brittle. Well yeah, you know 30 minutes in acetone might do the trick.... I left with worse nails than when I entered, burned cuticles and an "ok" paint job. My cuticles burned anytime my hands were under lukewarm water for about 3-4 days after my appointment, and then they scabbed. My thumbnail has split and the corner torn off, and my index fingernail on my right hand has broken completely across, even with gel polish. Will not be returning to this, or any nail salon ever again. If the standard isn't consistent across all employees, and all salons then what's the point? I do a better, more gentle job at home and don't have to spend $33. read more

I received a great pedicure from Mindy today, I came in with painful ingrown toe nails on my big toes and she did an amazing job. Not only do my nails look good but they feel so much better! Went here on my birthday after work for the first time. Didn't have an appointment and called to see if they could do a walk in. They were perfect at making sure everyone was taken care of even while squeezing me in! The salon is so cute, clean, and polished!! My pedicure was amazing and I sprung for a manicure as well! The manicure was awesome. Cuong recommended a polish since I told her I was going to a wedding and wanted something neutral and it was a perfect, milky, pearl color. Absolutely stunning. Cuong also helped me out of the toe separators and into my shoes. The staff knew all the other clients names and asked about their kids and even when answering the phone knew the people calling. You just don't see that anymore! I am more than happy! Let me tell you are the sweetest! This place has HORRIBLE customer service. I have been here a handful of times, each time the manager and the techs will not greet you or acknowledge you when you walk through the door. I voiced a preference about how I liked my nails, and the male tech got upset because I had a preference and proceeded to argue and tell me I need to stop asking for nails a certain way because he does his nails differently. If I don't like it , don't come. The owner was present doing nails nearby and did not intervene as her staff clearly attacked a customer.I have never experienced this type of rudeness before anywhere else. Awful customer service, be ready to arrive for your appointment time and be served 40 mins after your arrival. You don't get what you asked for, they don't listen and question and ask are you "SURE" on the nails you want. They ripped off my old acrylics with a fake nail, highly unsanitary and unprofessional, causing damage to my natural nails and not to mention it HURT. As a cosmetology student I was horrified they are even allowed to do that. I was sighed at when I went in a second time asking for a soak off, was told 20 mins and 40 mins later I was sitting there soaking my nails and they had long been soaked off. Meanwhile the lady doing my nails completed two other sets for other customers that came in after me. This place is awful, they make you feel unwelcome and like a burden. They can't do your nails how you want so they make a big deal out of it and make you feel like you can't ask for what you show them and do the opposite of what I ask for, telling ME I don't want that. The only person that made me feel welcome and did a good job was the male nail tech there, I didn't get his name but he was very friendly and did my nails how I asked. Other than that I do not recommend this place. got ignored even when I asked where their hand towels were, I will never be returning and I will be finding a new location to get my nails done at. I'm giving it 2 stars because my polish on my toes looks nice, BUT......terrible customer service from my nail tech. I got the classical pedicure with gel....didn't get a foot massage or hot towel treatment, but got a half-assed leg massage. I explained before she even started that I had been working in black-dyed mulch all weekend (in sandals) and she ignored me. Then she told me my toes were "dirty" (they're not), and was just pretty rude the rest of the visit. At the end when I went to pay, I asked for change for my $20 to give a tip, she gave me 2-$10 bills. I asked for ones, and she told me she didn't have any....so she got a $10 tip for poor service. Again, my polish looks nice, but my feet are still rough and overall, it was an unpleasant experience. Won't be back. read more

I'm not giving one star because I feel it's unfair to the other nail techs who probably do better work. But the guy that did my nails did a bad job. I will say they look okay as far as same length and decent polish! But five days after a full set I'm missing two nails and a third is cracked and lifting. And it was the most painful nail experience I've ever had. I've never felt such discomfort from the e-file before but it felt like it was going to drag and rip my whole nail off while he was filing. And when he would hit my skin around my nail he'd tell me to relax my hands. Once the nails were built and he was shaping them, then he sliced my finger really bad with the file. He had to apply an alcohol pad and pressure. I'm really disappointed because the salon itself was very clean and pretty. Someone had recommended it to me and I was excited to get my nails done for my birthday, I hadn't gotten them done since 2019. I'm not the kind of person to ask for money back, so I didn't, but this service was bad and not worth what I paid. I would not recommend and would not return. read more

I got an acrylic set and upon sitting down no conversation, did not ask me what shape until he was down with acrylic. When I look at my nails there are crooked, a dip at the apex and straight like a diving board. When I pointed I did not like it and ask him to fix it, he argued with me and did not listen to the customer. It was like he was doing me a favor.
