Hellen does absolutely incredible work every time I come in! I'm pretty picky - as long as I'm in Frederick, I'll be going to see her. I keep my right index and middle fingernails short and she always accommodates that and still makes my designs look amazing. Highly recommend!

I brought my mom for pedicures. It was very busy on Friday afternoon. I had to wait for 10-15 minutes even though I made a reservation, but it was ok. The lady who did mine was pretty good, and I was satisfied overall. But my mom's technician seemed very new to this, she didn't do good job overall, the toe nails were not evenly trimmed and painted.. so my tech had to fix it for her. The price was reasonable ($120 for two pedicures before tip).

My sisters and I were looking for a place to meet to spend some time together and we reserved a space for 3 of us. The salon placed us in a private area and we were able to sit next to each other and enjoy pesos together. Our pedicures came turned out really nice and we enjoyed our experience. The only thing missing was wine, tea, water or some other beverage. Usually in a spa they offer you a beverage. Overall, I would definitely recommend and visit again if I were in the area.

This nail salon does great gel pedicures. My friends and I walked in for three pedicures and they took us all at the same time and let us sit next to each other so we can talk while getting our pedicures. I'm very particular about hygiene and how my toes are done. I'm happy to say that are very hygienic and the gel on my toes still look brand new after two weeks.

my nails were done about two weeks ago & haven't had the time to get a fill. what surprised me is that they're all still on there. I couldnt have said the same for services done at other salons. I've been to many salons where i'd pay over $50 to have them fall off after like 5 days. Rose Nail Spa has amazing service and amazing outcomes! (100% recommend!) Thank you! read more

I normally do my own nails as I am a cosmetologist. However, there are times I like to be pampered myself. I got a full set with gel polish. The acrylic application was ok but already looked like I needed a fill. The shape was not perfect and one nail was shorter than others which I pointed out. Overall cute set. But I'm pickier than most. The price was $70. I charge the same for this set so that wasn't surprising, but next time I'd rather do my own. Also, after just a week it already looks like I need to have them redone. Myself and my clients can go 4-5 weeks without nails looking like this. Shop was cute and loved the ambiance, but unfortunately I cannot give them money for something I do better myself. read more

I got my nails done here close to two weeks ago and It turned out horrible. First of all she did not cut my cuticles before she started doing my nails and kept painfully pushing them inside throughout the session. I've done my nails there before so I know they usually do an amazing job, but this time my nails turned out pretty rough. The last time I got my nails done here, I had them for over a month and even while they were lifting they still looked cute, but these nails, even before it started lifting, the gel was already lifting off my nail bed close to the cuticles. I haven't even had them for two weeks yet. They look so rough I would have been better off getting some press ons for Graduation, and now I have to figure out a way to make this up since I am on a budget. read more

This is my 4th time going to Rose Nails. Nails turned out very well on previous visits but this past visit was very disappointing, so most likely will not be visiting this shop again. Pedicure was fine, but manicurist never took me (or directed me) to one of the manicure tables to do fingernails. Just did it on armrest of pedicure chair. Nail shape and length not uniform and a sloppy job was done with the polish. Will be removing polish after only two days and will shape nails & do polish again myself. All this for $70 plus tip?! No thank you. For the record, I am not a picky person! read more

This place is wonderful!! My sister and I went there together (cute little area for your small princesses)! I had Lili, she is GREAT!! She did my mani/pedi with the cutest flower design! I came back three weeks later with my daughter. My daughter LOVES her. She made a bunny design with hearts!! Bringing my Mom back this weekend!! I have found my NAIL TECH, LILI!!! My typical nail salon was booked and a close friend recommended Rose Nails. I came in for my appointment and had to wait 30 minutes while the rest of my party was seated before me. My stylist was not very detail oriented - the edges of my manicure were messy and I had to ask to take the polish off my skin after I was done. My manicure chipped within a week and was lifting soon after. I took it off myself on day 8 because I couldn't stand it anymore. read more

So I came here for the 1st time based off of Yelp reviews. And things started out good but the ending left a sour taste in my mouth. I had an appt so they took me right away. All was well with my pedicure and then the tech that did them told me to just sit and relax in the pedicure chair I was in. So I'm doing just that when about 5-6 mins later another nail tech asks me to move to the dryers. Now again this is my 1st time here so I have no idea where the dryers are. I start gathering my things and I'm actually used to at other salons the tech will help you with your things and walk you towards the dryers. Not here. She walked another customer over while I was still gathering my things directing her to sit in the chair. I was taken aback but started to walk towards the front. Then my nail tech comes and stops at the register area and tells me to pay. I'm now confused because am I paying or am I supposed to be at the dryer. So I let her know that the other nail tech told me to go to the dryer and that it's my 1st time there so I don't know where the dryers are. She tells me no that I should be dry and can pay. So I do just that and then leave. Mind you the register area has about 3 people paying at the same time. It appears that it got busy after a certain time and then they started to shuffle customers through. As a 1st time customer I am not so sure that I will be back based on that experience. read more

I've been coming to rose nails for three years now. Absolutely love it. It's clean, and they do a great job. Amy here does an amazing job! Her gel and dip manicures last weeks and always look so perfect. I'm so rough with my nails too. The pedicures are relaxing I really like their massage chairs. Everyone here is so nice :) If you're into designs and acrylics they also do a great job with those. I've had acrylics done a few times here. Amy even saved me when I lost a toe nail (ewww!) she made it cute and did an acrylic for me. Would highly recommend checking them out. read more

I wanted to love this salon, they fit me in for a pedi fairly last minute on my birthday BUT I got a regular pedicure, she barely scrubbed my feet or did anything at all. she cut my toe nails way too short after I said I told her I don't like them too short or rounded. it was basically a polish only and then I was charged $57!! I'd hate to know how much a "spa pedi" costs. I was so shocked I just paid and left. I probably won't return. read more

Prices change constantly (overcharging) and you get what you ask for 50% of the time. This last time was the worst and I will have to go elsewhere to fix the mess of my nails. Never again. read more

I would like to start off by saying I have on and off gotten my nails done at this salon. The customer service is lacking which is why I have decided to take my business else where. Marley had been doing my nails on and off for a few months. The last time I had them done it was a real eye opener for me on a lack of professionalism. One of my nails was crooked and I had to pay extra to fix her mistake? When you spend over 100 dollars to get your nails done by her (which is insane for the lack of professionalism) you'd expect a different type of treatment when you bring something to her attention. I feel like Marley ripped me off on multiple occasion. How am I paying 80-200 dollars for nails and the price varies every single time which makes no sense. Marley even mentioned to me that she makes up her prices, also charges a cancelation fee? Who does she think she is? Beyoncé of nails Having an arrogant attitude will cost you business. Overall the salon is decent just this specific nail tech (Marley) I would not recommend. I also disputed all of marleys tips due to the fact that she provides trashy customer service. The last service I had I didn't tip her due to the lack of craftsmanship. Amex was great and gave me all her top money back. And Marley just an FYI I did get my money back they gave me a credit to my account. You'll never know how Amex works because your paid pennies. Can take the trash out of an environment but can't take the trash out of the person ‍‍ read more

After looking at many different places, I read extremely good reviews for this place. I decided to give it a try! The spa is extremely big. There are so many stations, bathrooms and kids areas. Everything is extremely organized and easy to find. I had the best tech ever. She was extremely kind and hard working. She spent so much time making sure my nails were perfect. My gel pedicure is great but their powder gel quality is terrible for the price. I've had my nails done for a week and two nails have already cracked, they're discoloring, and starting to peel. I paid what I consider on the higher end for a full set of dip nails with no tips and I'm really bummed they barely lasted a week. The salon was tidy and I was able to get in midday on a Wednesday for a walk in but maybe this is why :( read more

I usually don't do reviews. I just read them. So with that being said understand what I'm saying is 100% accurate with zero exaggeration. I started doing my nails some time last year after a 10 year hiatus (motherhood changed me lol) I started going to Nail Time in Frederick and all was well but really wanted to start this dipping manicure trend. My friend told me she found a person in this salon who was so dope. I'm usually super iffy about switching nail people as I'm super picky and anal about my nails. But whatever, took one for the team and said eff it, why not!? I freakin LOVE Marley! The shop itself is so cute and clean and just super chic. But I really only cared for Marley. From her hip personality, to the app she uses to book appts. She's just amazing. I seriously look forward to my nail appts because it feels like a total girl sesh the entire time. Nothing but good convos and laughs all while getting my nails DID DID you know what I mean!! My nails are in the best shape they ever ever been. They're long and my cuticles are taken care of every appt. She works with the best products and goes above and beyond ALLTHETIME! My nails are complimented by literally everyone. I only recommend things to people that I know are A1 and Marley is top notch! She wouldn't be so booked and busy if she wasn't the best! I love this place so much! They took great precautionary measures during COVID, and I never felt worried. There are so many great technicians here, but once you regularly start coming you will find your favorite person. I always go to see Ana, she is my girl! She is such a perfectionist and makes sure my nails look perfect before I walk out the door. The health of my nails is also really important to her, so she makes sure to take great care of them. I gave this place a try because another place didn't have availability and I'm so glad I did. Location is spacious with soooo many color options. Had a great experience with Kelly! She was patient and help me find every sparkly glittery option possible, gave suggestions, and even tested out two different designs to choose from based my vision and her expertise. Her idea was better . She went above and beyond. I will be going back asap! read more

I was excited to find a new nail salon in Frederick. I thought I would start with a basic pedicure and see how they did. I was totally disappointed. There was attitude about a basic pedicure. Nails are cut to different lengths and not filed after. brush used to clean nails was used once on one foot and not on the other. no removal of dead skin at all. brought my own polish but no topcoat was used at all. Lotion on leg but none on feet. The whole experience was like she did not want to be bothered. $37. for a very poor performance. I was expected to ask for $67 pedicure and when I said basic it was bad from there. I generally do the spa pedicure but like to see the skill level at basic first. I will NEVER go back. attitude is one thing but the total lack of skills is another matter. read more

called last night 10 mins before closing and was accommodated well. i got there @6 and they close @7. idk why it felt like my pedi/ mani was rushed when there were other ladies still getting their pedi done while i entered and was done. i feel like other salons use high tech/ cutting edge items like wax but i feel like since i came @6, my nail job was rushed. nevertheless, my nails look wonderful! got gel for the first time & im very happy with the result. i'd rate this place a 3.5 star. read more

The absolute worse nail salon. Only went here due to Mocounty nail salons being closed. Had my toes and nails done. After a day my nails started turning brown. See picture. Also had my daughter with me who got gel polish and the same thing happened to her nails. Not only did my nails turn start turning brown but the polish on my toes did to. I asked a friend that knows about nails and she said they must have used gel polish but a regular top coat and faked me out. I'll absolutely not be going here ever again. In addition she didn't even do what I asked for and I showed her a pic of what I wanted. I have taken my full gel set off. Spent over 120 bucks here for nothing. Pissed off read more

This was my first time trying Rose Nails. My review is solely based on my pedicure experience. Soaked my feet first, then the tech cut my nails/cuticles and proceeded to tell me she was going to apply the gel polish THEN finish the rest of the pedicure. How would you do that when you havent cleaned underneath or along the sides of the nails. I IMMEDIATELY said no, you'll finish the pedicure cleaning and gel will be applied last. NO OTHER TECHS DID THIS. She completed my pedicure, which improved. I dont know why she thought this was okay and she tried to tell me cause its gel, no. Im disappointed because the reviews were awesome. I would say if you get a pedicure here, ask for the list of what services will be provided in the pedicure. That way, you're getting what youre paying for. read more

I've been coming to Marley ever since she started working here, best decision ever because my nails never break or lift when she does them. They have also grown out so much and are stronger then they were before. I get the dip manicure done, they last me so long as well. Before I had a different nail tech,the dip would lift at the top of my nails and get caught in my hair. I don't let anyone else do my nails anymore because I know it won't be the same quality as Marley's work. I recommend her! She does quality work and has a beautiful personality! To add to that, Marley is incredible knowledgeable when it comes to her work. She has advanced training and is also a Swarovski certified nail artist which shows! read more

I came here for the first time today and had a pedicure and manicure (tips with dip powder) done with Amy and she did a wonderful job! My nails looked horrible prior to my appt- they were so short and my cuticles looked a mess but I left my appt so happy with my nails. Amy did exactly what I asked for- a natural short look (I work in healthcare so I can't have my nails long). She was gentle and my nails did not hurt at all when she was done, and the pedicure was great as well. I was done in about 1 hr 10 mins which I expected it to take much longer so that was a nice surprise! The salon is lovely and relaxing and everyone was pleasant. This will be my go to nail spot from now on- so happy I found it! I would advise to call ahead and make an appt- they seem to have a lot of regulars and everyone who walked in while I was there had an appt. read more

This salon is conveniently located right off the highway and tucked away on a quiet street just minutes from all the shops in downtown Frederick. I switched salons as I wanted something closer to get to and so happy I did. The nail technician Marley is over and above the BEST. I love her magnetic personality as it is one of a kind...she is a true creative artist; I enjoy her focused and thoughtful approach to her work. She is highly professional, on trend with all the new techniques and products, energetic, friendly and kind. Her work is amazing and beautiful; I always get compliments on my nails from the look to color / design. Marley has done gel, dipping powder, acrylics and the best designs your imagination can think of for me. I've taken my young daughter to the salon as well; they have the cutest kids section- I was so impressed and love it! The owner and staff are happy to be there and welcoming. Came here after having a horrible experience at Princess Nails (don't go there). Was a little thrown off to see that it's a single family home but the inside is very nice. Everyone was really friendly. I showed up as a walk in 2 hours before closing and was able to get a French manicure, French pedicure, and eyebrows done in a timely fashion. They have a great selection of OPI nail polish, the salon is clean, doesn't have a bunch of tvs everywhere, it's not too loud so everyone can relax, and the staff is friendly. The chairs they use for the manicures are lay-z boy brand so they were very comfortable. The pedicure chair was also very comfortable and I liked the massage function. When I got my eyebrows waxed I appreciated that they have a separate private room for they and they don't make you sit in a random chair in front of everyone like other nail salons. I loved the fact that multiple employees made conversation with me and checked in on my experience. Pricing is competitive but the work was very good. Marley has always slayed my nails here. I've been going to her for at least 8-9 months now and have never been disappointed! In addition, I don't always have time to book 2-3 weeks in advance but no worries with Marley because my nails will literally last until I'm able to return back (after 4, even 5, weeks sometimes and I work full time). She constantly has me laughing and comfortable while I'm in the chair and her prices are super affordable considering her talent. All her tools are sanitized and fresh each client. I usually get her to freestyle my nails, coming in with only a little idea, and she always turns my sets into something beautiful!! I started seeing Marley since March of this year. And my nails were extremely not healthy. Marley has helped my nails come back to life. My nails are growing faster now. My nails are lasting longer. I used to go every 2 weeks and now it's every 3 weeks because her work is amazing! Whatever Design I ask for she delivers. She is always making sure her client is happy. I have chipped or broken a nail before and she fits me in her schedule and repairs it for me. I took my boyfriend for a spa lux pedi and it was amazing! He loved it! I've never been one to get my nails done that often. Usually it's becuase I can't find someone who is professional or consistent in the quality of service. I happened to walk in to Rose Nail Spa and I was recommended by a friend to make an appointment with Marley. From then on, its not been 8 months of fabulous nails. Not only does she take her time and truly care about her clients, but she also squeezes you in to fix a broken nail or chip in color. I contacted her the other day because I had broken one of my nails and just like that, she squeezed me in at the end of the day to fix my nail and at no cost for me. I went in yesterday with 2 broken acrylic nails, 8 horribly shaped nails, and a color i wasn't in love with. As soon as i walked into Rose Nails i was welcomed by everyone inside. I have had such trouble with manicures lasting until I started going to Marley. My nails never chip or break. She does fabulous work. I bring my 13 year old daughter as well who always shows Marley designs from Pinterest and Marley makes her nails look better than the pictures. We are always 100% happy when we leave. read more
