Also, after just a week it already looks like I need to have them redone. Myself and my clients can go 4-5 weeks without nails looking like this. It's not unusual to see the technicians pour acetone into the polish bottles to extend the life of the polish or so it's not goopy. Their cleaning practices are also questionable. If you select gel polish, be careful when placing your hands in the driers. You can feel that the inside pad to place your hands hasn't been cleaned for a long time or ever. Overall the people are nice but it's clear they cut corners, more money in the owners pocket while ripping off her customers. It's a hygienic nightmare. I'm not sure why nail salons are not inspected, they should be.
