My Mom has been seeing Dr. So for 17 years, starting back to when they were in the Montclair Plaza. They have always treated her with kindness, are always so helpful, and fast! So I have been going here for four years and Philip has helped me and has gone out of his way to make sure that my frames are perfect. I also had to bring my son her recently. They were able to get him him when I needed them to. And I received his glasses fast with no problems. I really appreciate the staff there, they are kind and courteous. When I broke my frames recently I brought them in. My original frames were on back order and Philip was able to swap my frames for a different color. In fact I like these frames more than the original. And the best part is I didn't have to wait long for them :). Thank you dr. When I first walked in, I was greeted by all the staff at the front desk. I came in to get my eyes examined for new frames and contacts. I was seen by Dr. Yip. She was very nice and explained everything to me. Jane in the front was amazing. She has very great customer service. She was very attentive and helped me find the right style frame that was suitable for my face. She took her time and was very patient with me. She also helped me save money. I found this place through Yelp and I had to make an appointment for an eye exam based on their great reviews. I went in for a eye exam back in November and due to insurance purposes did not purchase my glasses at the time. Came back again in early January to pick out my frames. I didn't have an appointment and the lady (forgot her name) who helped me with so patient in showing me different glasses that suited my face. I called a few hours later to change it to Tue and was ok. Something came up and I called on Monday to change the appointment and got lectured that I already made a change before bla bla bla , even I apologized and told the guy that sth unexpected came up, he did not change his bitch tone and blame. EXCUSE ME are we only allowed to change the appointment once??? how much work does it cost you to change an appointment???? He astutely and proactively made some observations about my eyes and made recommendations for how to care for them, which didn't involve my eyeglasses or any services he offers. As always Dr. So thoroughly did my boyfriends and my eye exam on Saturday. He is such a genuine and caring man. In my last review I talked about how Dr. So was trying to get my boyfriend in contacts comfortably with his dry eye condition. He still hasn't given up on him and now they are trying something different to see if it works better. During and after the exam Dr. So made sure we understood everything we had to know about our eyes. Also the ladies up front are awesome. They are so sweet and helpful. DO NOT second guess going to Dr. So for your eye care. It is very hard to find caring and honest doctors that do not just want to get you in and out and sell you the most expensive product in their office.
