DO NOT GO HERE they scratched my new ysl frames and blame the manufacturer for the frame having previous defects. This place has ruined 2 frames 7 months apart of each other and basically shrugged it off not taking accountability a single times. Also I have to add I've been a going here for about 8-9 years... If you care about your eyewear do NOT go here read more

Eye appointments are thorough. I always leave a bit smarter after my appointments. Sure they show you some pictures and charts you might not understand, but they spend time addressing your specific issue. read more

Everyone at Upland Eye Care were so kind and helpful. I made an appointment so the wait was not long and Dr Henley was very thorough with my eye exam, explaining everything as he did each test. He was very nice and completely put me at ease. I've been looking for a good place to go, that also excepted MediCal patients, and I'm so happy I found Upland Eye Care and Dr Henley for my eye care needs. read more

They were able to fit me in for an eye exam + contact lens exam on short notice! I'm a new patient here and the staff was very helpful. Dr. Henley was also very friendly and walked me through my prescription changes. He got my prescription perfectly and gave a free pair of trial lenses + cleaning kit. Definitely recommend this place for your eye needs! read more

My wife JoAnn and I have been going to Upland Eye Care for 23 years. The staff is wonderful and Dr Henley is the best! Dr. Henley is the only person we trust our eyes to! Highly recommend Upland Eye Care! read more

Dr. Henley was terrific. I was in and out of this place in less than 40 mins, with a scheduled appointment (which to me is great, for someone who's busy). The assistants were all very helpful and accommodating. The only concerning issue I had, was the lack of sanitization. I used 3 of the different eye equipment and the assistants / Dr. did not wipe any of them down, before or after use. read more

Amazing service from beginning to end. I arrived for the first time and was greeted by Maria in the front she took my information and gave me the forms I need to fill out. She told me someone will be with me shortly. It had been about 2 minutes and I was called to the back. Everything was so fast and easy. Thank you Ashley for helping me... I appreciate the good service I received at Upland Eye Care!!!! read more

This was my first time getting a vision exam and everyone was incredibly kind! From the moment I walked in, I was taken care of and barely spent any time waiting. Dr. Henley was friendly and thorough while explaining everything that he was doing. I'd definitely recommend this location as all the staff was great and I felt extremely taken care of! read more

I have been Seeing Dr. Henley for the past 15 years. My husband and two daughters also go there for their eye exams. The staff is always friendly. Dr. Hanley genuinely enjoys his job. I never get tired of him telling me that my arms are too short. If you arrive on time, you'll be out of there within 40 minutes. And that includes putting in new contacts. He always provides a free pair with a contact evaluation. Give him and his staff a try...you won't be disappointed! read more

I was examined here by a doctor whose name I don't recall, but he was funny - introducing me to the term "short-arm syndrome" to describe age related presbyopia. Anyway, he tested my eyes and my old prescription and told me he would issue a new prescription that wouldn't be so tailored to reading and was more balanced between near and far. When I received my new lenses they were worse for both near and far vision than my old lenses. When I called to report the issue they were dismissive and told me I'd need to pay for a new exam. If it hadn't been for the lens issue, I'd have rated this place 10 stars if I could. It's unfortunate that the initial level of service wasn't matched by the follow through. read more

I was with a different Optometrist before but left as the place was 10 miles away. My wife found this Doctor. So I went last February. I was treated first class by all the staff. Dr Henley is awesome. He went beyond my previous Optometrist as far as being there for me. Making sure that my concerns were corrected and, after the vision check, I looked and settled on the frame style. No pressure sales here. When I picked them up....I WAS AMAZED!!! I saw as if it was the first time I could see extreme detail(s) on/in everything!! Thank you, Dr Henley and staff. I've been back twice and they've been great. "The Best." read more

Excellent service, efficient staff. Referred by the VA due diligence process. Convenient location.

Been to 4 different eye doc's in the past five years. Each gave high pressure sales and low quality service. I almost gave up on a new pair of glasses even though I have great insurance. Then I visited Upland Eye Care where I was very impressed with the staff and settings. Super nice and professional. I found an awesome pair of over sized frames and was not charged extra. Best pair of glasses ever!!!! What's even better, is that they helped me replace the lenses when they became damaged shortly thereafter. I was provided excellent customer service. They had my lenses replaced at no charge!!!! I am finally very happy with my new place and I highly recommend them to all my friends and family. High quality and very reasonable prices along with a great staff!!!!! AAA+++ read more

Great service, doctor and staff. Happy to find a new eye doctor in the area! Thank you all for your wonderful service!

Upland eye care is wonderful. Today is the Friday of Labor Day weekend and I called around noon to see if the doctor could possibly see me. (Badly infected eye) They took me immediately and Dr. Henley did a thorough exam. There wasn't a rush because I called last minute. Very professional and courteous.....the entire staff. read more

There selection sucks no spy no ray bans none of the top designer brands so I bought some Guess glasses went to pick them up and I wore them out got home and figured out it wasn't the right case it wasn't the Guess case that should come with it and the cheap case that the glasses don't fit in read more

I don't even know where to start I have been coming to dr. Henley for at least 20 years. Not only is he very professional he is very friendly. The staff has been great and when my glasses need adjusting or my kids glasses need adjusting they will adjust them for free. Me and my family are very happy with Upland Eye Care read more

Seriously the BEST optometrist I have ever gone to. Dr. Henley was very thorough and explained everything as he went along. His staff is super friendly. I highly recommend. Thank you Dr. Henley and staff! read more

Staff is efficient, office friendly & welcoming. Optometrist received good Yelp reviews, however I found him to be focused on entertaining me and talking at me, expecting appreciation for his humor. I needed a conversation about some concerns regarding vision and he did not provide that opportunity, nor did he ask whether there were any questions. After measuring my eyes he walked out of the room saying he needed to write down some numbers, then I heard him next door greeting the next patient. A health care provider who doesn't partner with his patients to address the patient's needs is not someone I can return to see. read more

Dr Henley is the funniest doctor I have ever had. He is like the real life spongebob squarepants! His staff is also wonderful and upbeat. I highly recommend this office read more

Friendly, courteous staff. Dr. Henley is very accurate with my prescription. Best glasses I've had in a long time. They all types of insurance and have a wide selection of frames. The optician fits the glasses great. read more

Dr. Henley is amazing!! He is very caring, takes his time to explain everything and is super sweet. He did not try to push any purchases on us... And neither did his staff....He was very honest and said that glasses would be optional, even though my insurance covered them 100%. I never felt rushed with him....he took his time and answered all of my questions, and then some! Great Dr....you will love this place. read more

All of the people associated with Upland Eye Care are outstanding. My Mom has some cognitive issues, and all of the staff have been wonderful with her. read more

Every time I've come here the staff has been great. The dr is very nice and takes his time doing the eye exam. They have a nice selection of glasses to choose from. The wait time to actually receive glasses is pretty quick I'm not too sure what's the normal wait time but I've never waited more than a week for mine to come in. read more

Both my daughter and I had an appointment today for new glasses... upon arriving the front staff was very nice. The female optometrist was very rude... she would not greet my daughter or myself after the both of us giving her a proper greeting. She proceeds to sit down not even so much of making eye contact and told my daughter that she needs to turn her phone off due to the fact that she's not allowed to be on her phone. I was so disappointed that I gave this woman a piece of my mind and walked out. I will be contacting someone who has a higher authority than she... horrible service from the doctor is not acceptable. I felt afraid that she wouldn't treat my daughter properly read more

Dr. Henley is great! He is friendly, thorough, professional and just a really great eye doctor. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend him and my daughter likes him too. read more

I've been to several optometrists and have been able to walk straight in and look at the frames. After stopping at 2 offices today, I stopped here to see if I could find a frame I'd like to purchase. I patiently waited for help, and found it quite absurd that I needed an optometrist to walk me around to look at their frames. I had a prescription in hand and was willing to purchase. Unfortunately this business has lost any future business from me. In response to Gail: I understand that may be the case but like I said, I stopped by 2 offices aside from yours and was able to view their frames. High end frames have small locks that can be used to prevent theft, as the other offices I visited used. I was told I needed someone to discuss what my insurance covered and so forth, when I was simply trying to find a frame that I would like to purchase. After this office I went to another in Upland and was allowed to look around, at many high end frames out of cases, without having to be followed by an optician, just absurd to me. If you are planning to look at frames here, make sure you make an appointment to do so, otherwise you will be waiting until the customer in front of you has finished trying on several different t frames, narrowing it down to the pair they want, and then going through the process of being fitted and seeing what insurance covers. That can take quite a while! read more

Wonderful staff - all of them! Mr. Henley is caring and takes his time with both children and adults. The rest of the staff are helpful and will explain all cost and insurance options. I cannot say enough good things about them! read more

This Dr is great. I am a student and he was honest and aware of my needs. I have been to a lot of different doctors with changing schools and moving. He was very kind. The office staff was great. I saw him for an exam Feb 2014 and keep going back for contact refills and will be returning to a follow up next year. Very happy and now my wife will be going there too. read more

Dr. Henley is great. I have been going to his office since he took over for Dr. Ricks and I always feel like I am visiting an old friend. Dr. Henley has an uncanny memory of our past discussions. I am always impressed. Oh by the way, he is a great eye doctor as well. read more

Awesome office! Starting with the office girls, they are all very nice, friendly, and happy to help. And Dr. Jon Henley is superb! My husband and I have seen him (and he always remembers us), but on this occasion, my 6-year old daughter saw him for an eye check. He was so friendly and engaging, speaking directly to her at her level, explaining all that he was doing. He worked efficiently and thoroughly, explaining to me (the parent) what each of the tests were checking for. This is a top-notch office, with a professional who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and personable. I recommend it for all adults, and especially children! Dr. Jon Henley far exceeds all expectations! read more
