I opted to pay $20 for the no-dialation exam and feel it was worth it to not have blurry, light-sensitive eyes for hours after the exam. Dr Bui was very thorough, and asked specific questions based on results found during the eye exam. While this was only my second eye exam in my life, I certainly found Dr Bui much more informative and helpful than my previous experience at a different large-store optical department. I definitely plan to come back to Dr. Bui for my next exam.

The frame itself is extremely light weight so all the weight are in the lenses. Recently I had seriously injured my eye while doing some gardening and by the next morning I realized I needed professional medical attention. I went to Dr. Kim's office to arrange for an examination. While Dr. Kim was not in at the time, her employee, Scott, immediately contacted her by phone in an effort to have me seen late that afternoon. While Dr. Kim was out of town at the time, Scott was able to secure an appointment with Dr. Kim the following morning. Impressive! After examining my eye and generating a prescription for an immediate pick up, Dr. Kim insisted that in the future if any vision-related injuries arise I should immediately text the office, even if it is after-hours. She explained that, as a habit, she will review text messages after-hours and is very willing to meet with a patient, on an emergency basis, to avoid the risk of any long-term vision damage. Several days after my initial visit Dr. Kim then reached out to me via a follow-up email to confirm that I was healing properly and that the injury had been alleviated. This is an impressive level of personalized professional care, especially in view of the general state of healthcare throughout Southern California. Thank you Dr. Kim and your staff.
