Finally picked up my glasses after it took a month. They were nice enough to give me a refund on the anti-glare for my troubles.

Brought in a pair of glasses that needed prescription lenses in them. It was completed quick in a week and a half however I feel like my lens is really thick and heavy which started to cause indentations on my nose. The frame itself is extremely light weight so all the weight are in the lenses. I have other glasses but none of them are this heavy Not sure if theres a lighter option outside of polycarb and I avoided pc because it scratches so easily. But the weight is so uncomfortable I'm having second thoughts. read more

This was the best optical experience I've had Dr. Lee was nice, funny, professional and very knowledgeable. I went in for annual eye exam and lenses and frames. All went well and I felt good about my exam, and picked some cute frames and got some eye drops for my extremely dry eyes. An absolutely phenomenal Optometrist!! Tucked away on 13th street in Upland. I found them from Persol's website and now they do glasses for our entire family! My son loves them! They handle all the warranties that come with upgrading to anti glare glasses. They have a great selection of children's glasses and they are so personable that it's just an amazing experience every time. Really super grateful for them!! My husband and I went in for an eye exam and loved the staff from the start! Everyone was very nice and very professional. I like that they emailed us the paper work ahead of time so that it can be taken care of before the appointment. Dr. Raina Cheung was so great and made me feel at ease about being color blind when I took the test. She was so sweet and it was the best experience I've ever had with an Optometrist. My husband and I found some amazing frames that we were super happy with and I'm glad they made him feel comfortable after not getting an eye exam for so many years. Lan Anh cares a lot about her customers. She's a great business owner, the new doctor is amazing! Unfortunately, their current administrator is not great. She's rude on the phone and 'forgets' to ask the important insurance questions before the appointment. When I called to check on the status of my contacts, she rudely stated that I was texted last week. I informed her that I didn't get any texts, she sounded annoyed instead of just letting me know that they had my contacts in and reiterated I was texted. I went through my texts after the call. Sure enough, there was no text from California Optical. Again, the new doctor and Lan Anh are wonderful! The reception person - no customer service skills whatsoever. read more

I have been a patient for a couple years now and I am very thankful for the wonderful staff and customer service here. Dr. Cheung, Lananh, and her staff are fantastic. I had Lasik eye surgery and Dr Cheung has been following my care. She calls me to check on my care and to come see her if I have any changes. She really feels like she cares about my eyes! I've been here during the covid pandemic and they have made many changes to protect their patients and staff. They all wear masks...like a previous poster said...even two! They temperature check you and limit the number of patients in their office. The office is very accomodating of my hectic schedule and I'm so happy they do Saturday appointments now! Give them a try! Totally recommend this place! Very easy to make an appointment and I was able to be seen soon. I did my paperwork ahead of time and got back to do my exams quickly. Lenon is super kind as well as the doctor and the assistant doing my exams! I picked my frames out and had free range on trying on frames. With COVID after every frame you try on they have you place it in a bin that they wipe each frame after every patient. Be aware that processing times are a little longer depending on what lenses and add ons you're getting due to Covid. The dr was super thorough with me and I felt she really listened to my concerns about my vision and was able to help me get the correct prescription. She was super patient with me even when I asked to show me the lense again when doing the eye exam to determine what my prescription would be. Because I had some special lenses for glare I was able to get my glasses in 2 weeks even with the holidays. Recommended this place to my manager and she came as well! This place was recommend by a friend, I should have never listened. First off I went last week for GLASSES and an exam and from the start they were very pushy about me getting fitted for contacts which I agreed to but was never told there was going to be a $60 charge for ONE pair.The office was also very cluttered and there was about three other patients plus myself in one little room and you had no room to walk and look at all the glasses they offered. Also while I was there two of the patients there we're taking back in their glasses because their prescription was wrong. Overall it was very unprofessional and I will NOT be going back . read more

I just did my annual exam and I just can't recommend this place enough. Lan Anh is absolutely amazing, she always remembers me when I come in even though it's just once a year! Each time I've gone, the doctor has been fabulous and it's always a quick and efficient appointment, I never have to wait more than 5 minutes. Dr. Raina as well as the previous Dr. Andrew took such great time explaining my eye needs/concerns.
