At one point had 6 pairs of frames in hand, compared options with my part er. They completely ignored me, took other walk-ins, went for a Coffee Bean break, but no assistance. At one point I left and came back, still ignored me like I was invisible. As I type this out I'm literally at the front desk being ignored as they chit-chat about nothing. I told them I'd been waiting there nearly an hour - and all looked at each other like they had no idea, but still no attempt to help. An hour later: I had 2 pairs on order somewhere else.

Recently I had seriously injured my eye while doing some gardening and by the next morning I realized I needed professional medical attention. I went to Dr. Kim's office to arrange for an examination. While Dr. Kim was not in at the time, her employee, Scott, immediately contacted her by phone in an effort to have me seen late that afternoon. While Dr. Kim was out of town at the time, Scott was able to secure an appointment with Dr. Kim the following morning. Impressive! After examining my eye and generating a prescription for an immediate pick up, Dr. Kim insisted that in the future if any vision-related injuries arise I should immediately text the office, even if it is after-hours. She explained that, as a habit, she will review text messages after-hours and is very willing to meet with a patient, on an emergency basis, to avoid the risk of any long-term vision damage. Several days after my initial visit Dr. Kim then reached out to me via a follow-up email to confirm that I was healing properly and that the injury had been alleviated. This is an impressive level of personalized professional care, especially in view of the general state of healthcare throughout Southern California. Thank you Dr. Kim and your staff.

He took his time with the exam, explaining everything he was doing and asking if I had any questions. Very thoughtful examination with state of the art equipment. He explained the slight vision change I had, and explained every number he was putting in the prescription for glasses. From start to finish it took one hour. The assistant that helped me select glasses was knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this office. I came here on a referral from a colleague and am glad I made the appointment.

Went to get eyes checked for glasses and mentioned my eyes have always been difficult to get right due to underlying issues. To explain, I did go elsewhere before where they would fix until the glasses were finally correct, but it was a revolving door of optometrists that I thought maybe had to do with skill. I thought with the reviews here, maybe they could get it right the first time. But, they didn't, and are strict about redo. They were polite about everything but realistically if a patient lets you know their eyes have issues, perhaps there could be another solution versus releasing a prescription that isn't quite right and making no exceptions for more than 1 redo. I am $300 down with glasses I can't even wear. My suggestion is, if yours eyes are more problematic, perhaps go elsewhere that is more understanding and has more lenient redo policy. If it's pretty straightforward, then this place is fine and has a nice selection of glasses.
