I love Snooze! The food is fantastic and the service is great. The patio at this location is small so the wait was long to sit outside with our dog, but well worth it! Everyone was wearing masks and encouraging physical distancing. I had a half order of the OMG! French Toast and a Pineapple Upside down Pancake and loved every bite. Like in true yelp fashion, I accidentally ordered several items off the menu in order to give a true and accurate review of this place ;) And Everything was delicious!!...the shrimp and grits, french toast, and sweet potato pancakes were my favs..but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They're also willing to modify your order if desired, i.e. prepare the eggs to your specification. The customer service was phenomenal as our server was efficient and witty. Also, splitting the bill among 6 people was seamless. They use an iPad- looking device that itemized each person's orders, and you're able to pay your bill plus tip via credit card (if desired) at the table with one swipe on the device. Service was spot on, with very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. The food is what to come back to. I had the Habanero Pork Belly Fried Rice, and it was spot on; I had to fend off my daughter from eating more of my food. We also had the breakfast quesadilla, breakfast burrito, the snooze classic, double bacon sandwich, and the breakfast tacos. I enacted the "Dad Tax" and mandated to try each dish; none disappointed. My husband got the OMG French Toast and absolutely loved it. I got the Spuds Deluxe with bacon & jalapeños. My husband's only complaint was that there was no soda available and he does not drink coffee or alcohol. The atmosphere was great, with a bright, retro vibe and our server was attentive. This place gets a tad bit busy so try to come earlier than you anticipate to eat on the weekends or come on a weekday when it's less busy. They do offer a waitlist option on their app. We arrived on a Monday around noon and my friend and I were lucky enough to find open seats at the bar so we walked right in, avoiding a 25-40min wait. The bar seating has hooks beneath the counter for your jacket/purse. My Pancake Flight consisted of pineapple upside down, blueberry Danish, and sweet potato pancake. My favorite was the sweet potato pancake topped with crunchy, sweet pecans. I also tried the French toast which had a heavenly crisp on the outside and tasteful filling. My meal was accompanied with a warm milk hot chocolate topped with a rich whipped cream. You could taste the spices they put in the hot chocolate so avoid this if you're someone who just wants plain hot chocolate. Overall, the restaurant was very clean, food was great, and the service was superb. It's a breakfast joint that goes out of its comfort zone to try unique creations and give some pizzas to your meal. We've been coming here for years, and I've never felt compelled to write a review before. We've probably been to this location 50+ times in 10 years. Overall, the food is very consistent, which is nice. They serve the pancakes and waffles with real maple syrup, which is also nice. We're not usually fans of alcohol with breakfast but the few times we've tried their alcoholic drinks they've been just okay. Nothing super memorable. Just know that there are other locations to choose from in the area, and that the pearl street location is always super busy with up to a two hour wait at times. Using open table to snag a seat saves you having to go in and make a reservation, you can just show up when it's ready and skip the wait. Staff here at this location can be really snooty& miss details of your order etc. as a result of how busy they are, and service attitude here is meh consistently. On our last visit here, our server was noticeably rude to our kids and they took forever to seat us even though our reservation was ready and our table was visibly available. Just know you're not getting the best of snooze if you show up to this location ;-) The other locations (ie. Westminster) tend to have much better service and shorter waits with friendlier staff. I would suggest leaving the pearl street spot for the tourists and college kids. What I recommend from the menu: the bacon is good, their French toast and waffles are good, the vegan pancakes are good, but my personal favorite is the bravocado toast. read more

I'm quite happy with this place. Came here for the first time yesterday. Being a weekday morning, 08:30 hrs, I was able to get a table quickly. On a weekend I would use their handy app to put yourself on the waitlist so you don't need to wait in line. If you do have to wait, they have complimentary coffee. My server was Bonnie. She is quite the sweetheart. She let me take my time with the menu and saw that I was comfortable. I began with their house brew coffee and some milk to put in it. A touch of sugar and it's perfect. My coworker recommended their pancakes so I got one of those along with one of their benedicts. The benedict was a bit underwhelming but the pancake was big. I think it was about six inches across! I wound up splitting my meal in two and ate the rest for lunch. I finished with some hot chai tea. One server who passed by me as I was packing up my meal for takeaway approved of me bringing my own container to pack my leftovers in. Bonus! I wish to thank the lady, and Bonnie for a splendid job. We've been going to Snooze for breakfast for as long as its been open in Boulder. The food is delicious. Sometimes it is inconsistent, like the time when the green chile hollandaise sauce turned crazy spicy hot for a few months, and then it switched back. But recently, we've been frustrated by the reduction in portion size - most notably in the Spuds Deluxe dish. It would be great if the Snooze team could focus more on consistent portion sizes. We "got in line" via the app as soon as we arrived at the Farmer's market. We were advised of a two hour wait and took advantage by shopping and having mimosas at a nearby bar. 5 mins before our check in time I received a text that my name had been removed from the wait list. We high tailed it over there and they said that sometimes the app does that for no reason. They were able to accommodate us and we were seated at one of the round tables with round benches. While they look cool, they're not comfortable. It was busy but our first order of drinks took over 15 minutes to arrive to the table. The waitress said she would comp an order of pancakes for the table. Cool! Most of us went with the Benny duo. I had lox and latkes as well as the Bella! Bella!- both were delicious, Bella, Bella was probably my favorite. The breakfast margarita was amazing- upon ordering a second round we were told they had enough sour mix for only 1. When my friend got her drink it was all sour and no OJ- so much it was not drinkable. The waitress comp'd that drink for her. Overall, good food. We went to Snooze on Peral St. on Sunday June 29 in the morning. We've eaten at Snooze restaurants for over 15 years and love the level of service and quality of food. We were seated right away, no wait. The person that seated us gave us the menus. Nobody came to offer water, coffee, silverware, etc. There was another table that was seated across the aisle from us a few minutes later. The server immediately brought silverware and water and took orders for drinks. We had 3 servers walk by our table and nobody acknowledged us. The table across the aisle got their coffees and drinks and the server spilled the cream on the knee and leg of one of the guests with quite a bit of it going on the floor. He came back a couple of minutes later to give the guest a few new napkins to replace the ones he used to clean off his knee and leg. The server never did bring anything to clean up the floor while we were there. He took their order eventually. In the mean time, nobody acknowledged us. We were seated for around 8 to 10 minutes. We had noticed another breakfast cafe next door and decided to leave and go enjoy a breakfast there. We're so happy we did. Service was immediate and thoughtful and the food was amazing. Big dent in the Snooze reputation for us. Bad, bad service, for sure. Clean it up. read more

We got iced vanilla lattes, porridge, pancake flight to share, and Bella Bella Benny. Vanilla Latte - 8/10 no complaints, good flavor, a bit expensive. Porridge - 7/10, has lots of fruit, but the porridge has little flavor. Could have used some brown sugar. They also have hemp seeds which got in my teeth as I was eating. Bella Bella Benny - 8/10, comes on toast crisp instead of a English muffin, so it is more crunchy than your average Benedict. Hash browns very good. Pancake flight - 6.5/10 we got the chocolate chip (9/10), blueberry danish (4/10), and strawberry shortcake (7/10). Blueberry Danish was super sweet. Shortcake was sweet but good flavor, chocolate chip was delicious. They didn't provide us with syrup and it would've been better with syrup. For me personally I love customizing of the menu I can do. For example for the benedicts you can switch any of the hollandaise sauces around. The potatoes are always a little undercooked for me, but order them cooked extra and they are perfect. I adore their pancakes. Hands down the best in Boulder. Again, you can order just one or the trio and switch them up. The new app lets you put your name on the waitlist as you are heading out the door now. Super helpful!! Had absolutely the worst meal food wise AND service wise. Used to live in Boulder and came back for a vacation with my two kids. We were seated pretty quickly around 1pm in the afternoon as tables were clearing from the lunch rush, but they essentially ignored us for the better part of an hour unless we stood up and waved someone down, which I absolutely hate to do. Kids were 11 months and 5 years old, so we were not there for a leisurely meal. My husband who is the most laid back person on the planet was ready to lose it by the end, as he finally had to pack up the kids and leave while I waited (for another TWENTY MINUTES before someone even came near enough our table for me to flag down) to pay the bill. He has never posted a review in his life or cared enough about any restaurant experience to post a review and before we left he said you absolutely need to write about this awful experience. Most people around us were similarly without food for a long time or waiting for a check forever, it wasn't just us. There was a lot of staff but for whatever reason they seemed to be concentrated in the kitchen. Food-wise, the pancakes were fine but the rest of the food was terrible. When I lived here I considered this place a little touristy so I didn't come often but clearly it has rested on its laurels and gone fully downhill. Would not return or recommend it to anyone, especially if you have kids! read more
