We waited about an hour on a Sunday around noon, but got seated within 5 mins of our arrival because we had joined online. There are so many good food options. I got the 3 egg scramble and chose sausage, cheddar cheese, and pico as my 3 enhancements. It was soooo good. Comes with hashbrowns and toast! I loved the jam that accompanied it for the toast as well. I found it interesting they don't have soda, but don't fret! They have plenty of other beverage options including Bloody Mary, grapefruit and other juices, and delicious mock tails. And various coffee beverages, of course! I used to live in Boulder a few years ago and Snooze was my absolute FAVORITE place to eat brunch. I have craved snooze so many times over the last 8 years and was so excited to eat here. Unfortunately, SO disappointed. The food took forever (even though the place was empty), and when we finally got it, it was cold. Cold over easy eggs?! So gross. We could see all of the staff just standing in the kitchen talking. I can't even believe how far this place has fallen in its standards. Just really the most disappointing experience. They have a great menu with all the classics as well as some fun new twists. Kind of a cute retro look to the inside. Nicole repeatedly asked us to repeat our order (maybe the music was too loud for her to hear), food was delivered to table had to inconvenience the staff at the bar for condiments. Had to ask Nicole for water since none was offered to us when we sat down, no straw was given, had to go to the bar yet again to get a straw. I would like to think that maybe she was having an off day or she was overwhelmed by having to take care of multiple tables, but working in food service you have to be quick, friendly, and approachable. Had brunch here on Wednesday after Christmas and it was surprisingly very crowded. The wait time wasn't bad and they have a text wait system which is convenient. I had the barbacoa chile verde eggs Benedict. It was super awesome! The barbacoa was tender and spicy. I loved how the bread underneath was like a tortilla with green chile instead of a traditional English muffin. Would definitely order again and I highly recommend this meal to anyone who love eggs Benedict and is looking for a twist. Wasn't too spicy and also had potatoes and pico on the side. I haven't been to Snooze for awhile and that's a mistake. I met a friend here for breakfast and the hostess was friendly in greeting me which I appreciate. We sat at am outdoor table and our waiter, Joshua, was also super friendly attentive. The Food was just as tasty as I remembered from pre-COVID days. I ordered the same thing I always get: the Bella Bella Bennie. The bread was delicious that the prosciutto, greens, and egg sat in top of. And I love the drizzle of balsamic with the sauce. The hash browns were delicious as well. I didn't think I would be able to eat it all but I came closer than I thought! Soooo good. The Drink was a twist on the mimosa and was a a Strawberry Martini Mimosa. I could have had more than one they were summery, fruity and not too sweet. Hard to believe anything that tasty could be so healthy. As a reward, we then shared OMG French Toast. We had the vanilla cream, caramel, strawberries, and toasted coconuts set aside, in order to keep the grilled mascarpone filled brioche from getting soggy. The drinks took awhile but I think the bar was working as quick as they could with the staff they had. As a vegan... I appreciated seeing tofu scramble on the menu. I opted for that over the vegan chorizo and made a scramble with veggies. I opted for tortillas instead of toast because I love a build your own taco moment. The pepper sauces that they give you when you ask for hot sauce are delish! I also saw a table with Cholula--also delish but glad I got the ones I hadn't tried before. This was MAJOR KEY because unfortunately the tofu was very under seasoned. PEOPLE--tofu doesn't have any flavor, you gotta add the flavor!! For example, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, salt, a little turmeric if you have it on hand and want to make it look a lil yellow. Would I choose to come here as a vegan again? Nope. Was I happy they had something for me since we were here to celebrate someone's birthday? Yes. Did I clear my plate? Yes. Returning to living in Colorado, and hearing about the Snooze in Denver, I'd been wanting to try this brunch spot for years. During a trip to Boulder a few weeks ago, I finally did, and one of my favorite things about it was that I could order brunch up until late in the afternoon (just like in NYC/DC). I also loved the fact that I could be indecisive, and split the difference, so I ordered the Benny Duo - one with Pork Chile Verde, and the other being Smashed Avocado. I wasn't such a fan of the crab-cake shaped hash browns, however. They weren't bad, per se, but they also weren't my favorite. I prefer the loose/clumped, free for all style. :) Enjoy! read more
