Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes
Shelby A.

This was a cute spot for brunch out here. They are a chain sorta similar to that of First Watch, except a much larger menu and the servers here are so friendly. We ordered some pancakes bacon and toast for a quick breakfast before starting the day of hiking which was easy and quick. Parking is paid on the street and it usually easy depending on the time to find a spot.

After taking a quick stroll around Boulder we settled in for brunch. They downside was the almost 30 hour wait (not 20 min as indicated by the online waitlist). The upside was the fun energetic inside. Staff was friendly and busy. Very clean feel. I had an omelet which was ok and my niece had a vegan dish, substituting tofu for eggs. We both enjoyed our meals.

Upon looking for a spot to eat breakfast our first morning here in Boulder, Colorado has immediately saw they had a Snooze Eatery here. I've eaten at the San Diego location many times over the years and enjoyed every meal. I was happy to see one here and immediately put our name on the waitlist. No matter which day or what time, there will most-likely be a waits but that's because this place is amazing! The service this trip was great and the interior was decorated much like the San Diego location in a casual, friendly and vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of the 60's/70's. If near Pearl Street in Boulder consider enjoying their twists on favorite American breakfast classics!

Snooze is the perfect spot to start a morning, and this location is no different Food reviews: Strawberry martini mimosa--simply put it's amazing. Light, fruity and pairs well with any breakfast item Snooze weekday classic--love how they offer this deal. Perfect combination to start the morning out right. The hashbrown always delivers!

My favorite brunch stop when in Colorado! The Boulder location on Pearl Street is so fun and dog friendly. We sat on the patio with our pups. While always busy, we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to open up. I love that there are plenty of vegetarian options and most items can be customized. I got the spuds deluxe with vegan chorizo. Their bloody mary's are also a must have. Delicious!

Big fan of this Boulder spot. Waited about 12 minutes for a table of 5. It was busy for a late breakfast but died down pretty quick, and there's plenty of space for a crowd. Here's what we ordered: Spuds deluxe - A good portion. I didn't quite finish it, but I got through a majority and left feeling a good kind of full. Jalapeño cheddar omelette Avocado Toast Keto chicken bowl Lavender Latte Oat Milk Honey latte - Not too sweet Bloody Mary (with a huge celery stick) Our server Shelby was super sweet and helpful. She answered all of our questions and checked in a decent amount without overdoing it. Would definitely come back for Snoozes service and food!

Snooze Breakfast Burrito*

On my trip to Colorado this month, I ate a LOT of Snooze. Like... 4/5 days of Snooze. Every time was awesome and extremely filling (my body did take revenge afterwards from all of the heaviness). That being said, the Snooze in Boulder had the best burrito I've had compared to the other locations (downtown Denver and Rino - which were exceptional & close!). Epic burrito; bang for your buck; flavorful; filling (I added mushrooms and peppers). I got the green and red sauce which made it extra fun to choose what to eat! Both sides tastes great. I also tried the omelette with jalapeño cream cheese and that was also delicious!!

Protein BLT Bowl*

I wasn't looking forward to eating at Snooze but as it turned out I really enjoyed my meal. I ordered the Protein B.L.T. Bowl (Two cage-free scrambled eggs, two slices of Snooze signature bacon, Polidori breakfast sausage crumble, seared tomato, avocado, house-made pickled red onions and a pinch of Maldon salt atop Dijon vinaigrette dressed baby spinach & carrots). It was perfect and healthy. Everyone else ordered more traditional breakfast foods like eggs and pancakes. I like a savory breakfast situation better than sweet. Also great service!

Haven't had snooze since I moved from the Austin area and was so glad to come across this location. We came in a weekday and were sat right away. I ordered the strawberry shortcake pancakes and was shocked by how large they were! They were incredibly delicious. Highly recommend snooze for breakfast or brunch!

This is a good Snooze location. I ordered via delivery, so I cannot comment on the restaurant logistics. The food was delicious and met my expectations.

The yummy Garden Harvest Omelet!

Our group decided to meet at Snooze for lunch/brunch. There's an option to be put on a wait list before you arrive at the restaurant. One friend put us on a wait list, and we did not have to wait for a table when we arrived. I ordered the Garden Harvest Omelet. The food was really fresh. What made this omelette extra special was the topping of chili-lime seasoned avocado and house-made herbed cream cheese. It was delicious! The omelet came with a small salad. This place felt like a diner, but the food felt healthier than diner food. I like how the calories are listed on the menu. The interior is so fun. I love those round booths! The colors look very mid-century. The only negative to this place is it can get extremely loud inside. The acoustics are not great in there, and I had to strain to hear what my friends were saying. They do offer outdoor seating. Our waitress was friendly and she stopped by several times to check on us and see if we needed anything else. The service was really prompt! Free street parking on Sundays, otherwise there is metered parking. It can be challenging to find a parking spot. It's in an area where it's fun to stroll and look at all the different shops. If you have time on your hand you can also explore the Pearl Street Mall which is only 3 blocks away,

My husband and I went to Snooze on a Sunday at 11AM. It was busy when we arrived, so I put our name on the wait list and we waited about 10 minutes to be seated (awesome for a Sunday morning). We sat at the bar and our waitress was Kat, she was very nice. I ordered a latte with lavender syrup and the sweet potato veggie smash up with a poached egg. I love lavender and really enjoyed the coffee. My sweet potato breakfast was great! I loved the texture, color, and flavors of the meal. The potato was soft on the inside and so was the skin on the outside. The house-made Siracha maple syrup was good! I loved the kick and the sweetness it added to the meal. I cleared my plate. My husband ordered the corned beef hash and the pancake flight for dessert. His meal was really terrible! I couldn't believe it. His entire meal, including the pancakes, were served cold. To me, the scrambled eggs were watery, cold, and my husband said they tasted like they were from a pre-mix and unnaturally whipped. The corned beef hash was basically just mushy hash browns with chunks of corned beef on top and he said it tasted like they refried it. He said it was awful and he wouldn't dine here again. We both split the pancake flight, which was served cold, so the whole thing was already set-up for disappointment. The best pancake on the plate was the cinnamon roll but most likely would've been better if it were served at the right temperature. It's crazy the different food experiences my husband and I had while dining at Snooze, which is why I gave it a 2-star rating.

I came to snooze on a Saturday morning and had a really great experience. The only con was that it was a 40 minute wait. I would recommend coming here and putting your name in. Food was delicious, great menu. I loved the avocado smash Benny. Everything tasted fresh and the ingredients seemed high quality. Servers were friendly. Reasonably priced but more expensive than your typical diner/brunch. Would recommend.

The server was quick to take my order even though it was pretty busy in there (was rush weekend I think for the university?). I had the tin man HH cocktail because my server said it would be the most floral (has elderflower in it) and I quite liked it! Was very refreshing, not too strong. Aside notes: the bathrooms were quite clean. Parking was a little chaotic, some is paid parking and some is free 2 hour. There are only a couple spots right in front, I had to park a few blocks down but it was in 2hr free park by another small business that was closed for the day. I didn't have any issues there. Overall thought this was a fun little bar in Boulder with good happy hour drinks, I would def come back :)

I think the best thing about River and Woods is the interior and exterior decoration. It is very clear that a lot of thought and time was put into the atmosphere here. From the cute door knocker to the bathroom wallpaper, the theme is well-executed. The food was a bit disappointing. The blue oyster mushroom appetizer was extremely salty. I thought it was just me but the rest of the table agreed as well. My trout was well-cooked and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The chicken was also salty although cooked well. I did not try the burger but I was told it was salty as well. The prices of all the items were quite high for what I thought was presented. Service was good and thankfully our waters were filled frequently for how much water we were drinking due to the high salt content.

We were about to get a last minute reservation for Saturday - although the bar seating is nice and cozy and usually always has spots open. The host Chase was super friendly and welcoming. He sat us a bit early, and he offered some of his recommendations. Most of the dishes are made to share. We started with the olives and iberico jamon. The jamon melts in your mouth! For steak, it's all about your preference. We opted for the dry-aged cowboy. Super smooth and not very fatty compared to some Chicago steaks we've had recently. Don't skip on the jamon fat fries or the sunchokes! We were too full for dessert but everything looked so delicious - and they use seasonal ingredients!

I mean, such good vibes and what a perfect spot to enjoy an afternoon. I can only imagine sunset. We got the pimiento peppers which were so good--the sauce is out of this world. The salad had the best vinaigrette and while I didn't take a picture (I was so excited to eat that I forgot), the steak frites was out of this world. The jamon fat fries were insane. So crispy and so flavorful. But the steak? Woah. Not a big portion, but that's not surprising for tapas! Cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly-- aka, perfection. I'm so sad I don't live closer to Boulder. If I did, I'd be a regular. You have to go here!! Plus, the service was so good and fast! Our waiter was very kind and attentive. Booked this for a monday evening for a business dinner. i really wanted to like this restaurant…read moreand there were several things that i did like, but the food was just OK from my perspective. Ambience - this isn't the best place for a business dinner. very quiet/romantic and i felt like our group was out of place there, but no one looked at us oddly. It felt more like we might have been interfering with their romantic vibe as we were talking business. The restaurant and staff present a very inviting atmosphere. Food, this is where i was disappointed. the Bread at the beginning was very good/ with salted butter. I ordered the salted radish appetizer and it honestly just felt like salted radishes on top of a puree that i didn't really care for. So would put this as a 5/10 in terms of rating. I got the rabbit, which was recommended as being the best entree option. i have never had rabbit previously and wanted to try it. I thought it was OK, but not very memorable. It did taste like dark meat chicken. however the chick peas they were served with were underdone (crunchy in texture) and simply not that good. Our dessert, blueberry Tres Leches, was the best of the 3. My dining companions had a variety of things (striped bass, meatballs), but no one was raving about their food. Service was quite nice. would give this more like a 3.5 out of 5, as the atmosphere and service were good. Sadly won't be returning.

However, the kitchen fails to deliver quality or good tasting meals, despite the well-sourced food. The menu is prix fixe. 2 appetizers and an entree, or 1 appetizer, entree and dessert. The salmon tartare was salty, too salty. The kefta balls were over salted as well. The onion tarte shell was so hard it could barely be chipped away to eat. When we mentioned this to our server, the response was we get more complaints about the tarte than any other appetizer. I was surprised to see that the appetizers were all served at the same time, so by the time, I ate the cold salmon, the warm kefta, besides being salty was also cool - might have been more appealing if warmer. The rabbit entree was dry, overcooked and tasteless. The accompanying garbanzo beans were undercooked, crunchy and too salty. The food highlight was the family style vegetables. Beets, onions, asparagus were alright; the sugar snap peas which still had strings were not as good. The dessert were disappointing as the rest of the meal. The macaron was brick hard, so hard, we had to ask for a fork and knife to chip hunks off of it. Tasteless. After we departed, my dinner companion said she wished we had sent the dessert back, it was so hard and inedible that we left most of it. Bramble & Hare has a few things going for it: Service was spot on, attentive, helpful and friendly. The wine list is very good. Ambience is pleasant and the dining room is quiet. I really wanted to like Bramble & Hare as the farm to table concept appeals, but with the poor food preparation, this is a tough restaurant to like.
