Yummy!! What a fun and casual restaurant! The outside doesn't look like much but the inside is so colorful in U of O yellow and green colors. The star is the burgers and onion rings. Full of flavor and onion rings were crispy. I got the Hawaiian burger with pineapple and ham. Husband got the half pound Shack Burger. The candy cane milkshake was amazing! The staff did table service for our large party and we were able to find seats for all 9 of us on a beautiful April afternoon!

Food is what Burger Joints should be. Parking RV 60ft plus. This Mom & Papa Shop is worth the stop. I will come here again.

Food cooked to yummy, "Hand Off" with onion rings. So nice to get off the I-5 with easy access. Support local small businesses. Food not photoshopped, this is what I got and it was amazing.

What can I say...? Just a good 'ol burger joint. Visited this shack a few times w/ the kiddos, been consistent. Has a small shelf of coloring books, play area, and menu for them chillins'. Small, quaint, cute...just like their parking lot. Milkshakes, Floats, and smiles :))) The staff is as pleasant & accommodating as you wanna make it....haven't been kicked out yet, unless it's closing time ;) Stop by and pay tribute to the small businesses in and throughout OR.. Wecolme to the Snack Shack!!

OMG why did I not come here sooner? This is what a small burger shack should taste like. The ice tea was incredible, the sandwich were delicious, and the crinkle cut fries were great. I have a new favorite place to dine.

We have driven past this small spot many times but never stopped, and man, have we been missing out! Peggy is the sweetest lady, and she knows how to take care of her customers. I ordered the Rueben, and it was super good. The cheese was perfectly melted over the thick pieces of corned beef. He got the Big Bacon Cheeseburger and thoroughly enjoyed it. The fries came out hot and crispy. They give you three options for dips (ketchup, ranch, and fry sauce). They had a decent number of customers when we went in but still got our food quickly. It is a smaller establishment (only about 7 or 8 tables) in not the greatest part of town. But the food is well worth the short trip just outside main street/Franklin Blvd area. One of the very best "hole in the wall" burger places we have been to in a while. They also have BBQ and do brunch. The front parking lot is small, but there is more around the back. We will be adding this to our list of weekday lunch spots.

Small diner feel with good customer service and good classic American food. We were happy with our meal and left satisfied. We would return if it were convenient, but wouldn't go out of our way.

Sarah and Anna are amazing! I love this place I always come here to get the shakes they're so addictive!!!

    Hamburger was delicious!

The hamburger was awesome! That alone makes the Snack Shack worth trying. The other reason to visit Snack Shack, this place is a legit, old school diner. There aren't many places like this left. The French fries, unfortunately had an unwanted freezer-burn taste. They serve Pepsi products here. I was disappointed to find they do not offer milkshakes. Service was friendly, food served promptly. Give Snack Shack a try!

Eugene OR and looking for a burger. Double bacon mushroom burger. I got to say I was pretty satisfied by the taste and the quality. There was a lot of everything on it. I had the onion rings. Wish I'd have taken a picture. Not liking them so much.

    Amazing Hawaiian burger!

WOW!! Was getting new tires next door and found this burger place on my map. Greeted right away, no wait at all. Food came out hot and fresh. Highly recommend the Hawaiian burger, big ass juicy burger! lol Loved it!!!

Its a classic diner with bar top seating, many booths and open tables within a very small space. Don't be scared away from the waitlist or large families waiting outside the door, they seem to turn tables very quickly so plan for a little bit of a wait, but its worth it. We got lucky and two bar top seats opened up, we waited about 10 min. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who quickly offered us menus and filled our drink order. The menu is quite ample, lots of breakfast options, from scrambles and omelets to many shakes and desserts, if you are looking for lunch they have burgers, sandwiches and wraps. We ordered breakfast, I had the custom option, two eggs, bacon, sausage and added a side english muffin. The food was well cooked, good portion and great tasting. My son ordered a custom, 2 biscuits and gravy with an egg and hash brown, he loved his meal. The pricing was fair. We did not have much of a wait time from the time we ordered to getting our meals. This is a solid diner. I would come back for the breakfast if in the area, and the lunch menu had some items that were calling my name as well.

We took our time with the menu as there were so many delicious-looking options. We ended up splitting two dishes so we could both have some variety. We did the French toast with a berry compote and ricotta topping and the veggie omelette with hash browns and toast. Every single thing was so good! The eggs were cooked well, the hash browns were crispy, and the French toast was perfectly made. The ricotta and berry compote was also fantastic. We were absolutely stuffed and could not be happier. The bill was also much lower than we expected, so the food is pretty affordable compared to other diners in town. I think they moved into this space recently as I remember another restaurant being here before. That restaurant was much more territorial with their parking spots and had signs everywhere telling people not to park there if they weren't customers, but those signs are gone now which is nice. Everyone here was super friendly and lovely. I love the mission of this restaurant and will definitely be back to continue supporting them in the future!

As a local, it truly breaks my heart to write this review. I always want to support our…read moreneighborhood businesses, but I have to be honest about my recent breakfast experience here. The Atmosphere I'll start with the positives: the decor is absolutely awesome. As a discophile, I spent half my time admiring the vinyls lining the walls. The model aircraft suspended from the ceiling and the upside-down table add a unique, cool character to the place that you just don't find elsewhere. Visually, it's a 5-star experience.. The Food & Drink Unfortunately, the meal itself was a different story. The Coffee: I'm a black coffee purist, but this was beyond horrible. It tasted completely "burnt"--to the point where I actually had to add sugar just to make it drinkable. Breakfast Burrito: This was, quite frankly, uneatable. I'm not sure if it was the black beans, the eggs, or something else in the mix, but the flavor was horribly off. Hash Browns: They were completely flavorless and added nothing to the plate. Jalapeños: I'm a huge fan of sauces and peppers, but somehow even the side of jalapeños was bad. On a smaller bright note, the English muffin was good (though it's hard to ruin one of those), and the water tasted great. I honestly can't recommend the water enough, which is a strange thing to say about a diner visit. Final Verdict I cannot recommend this spot for breakfast in good conscience. I hope I get the chance to come back and try their dinner menu to see if it's an improvement, but for now, the great decor just isn't enough to make up for the kitchen's performance.

We always stop at the Elmers in Palm Springs when visiting my wife's family in that area. I wasn't aware that a reservation or an earlier time would have been warranted, since a big group of 35 just beat us in Monday at 10, in town for Banana Ball at Autzen, so it did take a slightly longer than usual time to be seated and served, but it wasn't their fault, even my though they apologized like it was, it just gave us a bit more time to converse with the bride and groom and say our goodbyes. We still made it to the airport with time to spare. The wait staff was terrific and very friendly, the space was clean, modern and very well kept. We were all very happy with our breakfasts, 3 of us had German Pancakes, due in part because I raved about them so much from my experiences at Palm Spring Elmers. 2 had the assorted fruit topping, I went with lemon, butter, and powdered sugar, So yummy!
