We stopped here (9/16/2015) based on previous Yelp reviews and we weren't disappointed. A little whole-in-the-wall diner but the food was very good. The waitress was very friendly and we were glad we got there early as it filled quickly for lunch. We all decided on the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. If it wasn't for the fact they use Sweet Baby Ray's, I'd have given this place a 5...sorry, just not my favorite. The meat was one of the tastiest and for my preference, the coleslaw was amazing...not the mild creamy type but with more vinegar and crispier which when served on top of the meat (as it's supposed to be!), made it a great combo. For what it's worth, adding some hot sauce helped the BBQ sauce a lot! read more

Great food! The price is good and the portions are wonderful. It has an old mom and pop feel to the place with lots of nic nacs and decor on the wall. The waitress was on top of everything and very nice. This is the only place in town that I know of that still has crispy yummy curly fries. I would highly suggest giving this little hole in the wall place a shot. The only downside is that it is rather small and can't seem to hold more than 40 people or so. read more

This may be the closest thing I've seen to complete truth in advertising in a name. The burgers were snack-sized ... although meal priced. And the place is sure a shack. No adult beverages. Tasteless packaged fries and onion rings. And we completely stunk of fry grease after spending 40 minutes here when there were only three other customers. I can't imagine what it would be like during lunch rush. It was kind of annoying to tack on a tip to the already-overpriced tab since we were technically waited on. What a hidden gem. I never expect a small diner like this to be so good! Our waiter, seems to be the owner, is so nice and welcoming. Bless her little ol heart. By far the best BIG BURGER in the area better then Bricks or Cornucopia or whatever your current go to is. This place reminds me of Old Bigs Hi yu hee hee that used to be in Veneta their food is huge but still super tastey and well prepared. Unlike someplaces that just make big flavorless food. I love finding random and smaller restaurants, especially if they're good! This place definitely has a lot of hearty meals and is perfect for someone looking to full on some mom and pop style food. We arrived 45 minutes before closing on the Sunday after the 4th of July...the sweet lady taking our order let us know that they were out of bacon, mushrooms and jalepeños. They had huge portions regarding the fries and side salad. I ordered the deli sandwich on wheat (toasted) with Turkey, Swiss, mayo, lettuce and tomatoes. Yummy. Side salad was $1 extra to sub out the fries. There was a good amount of turkey and with all the fixings was filling. I didn't need the salad or fries! My hubby ordered the western bacon cheeseburger. Since they didn't have bacon, they knocked a little off the $ of the burger. The burger was big with all the fixings that come with it. Hubby said it was very good but he did miss the bacon...thus the four stars. Although, I'm not so sure that's fair! Anyway, the lady was so nice, attentive and personable. The cook was nice too. My brother and I just stopped here for a quick bite. We had no idea that we were gonna find such a gem. You will eat the food of the gods here. The fries are perfectly made, warm and fresh from the deep fryer. A diamond in the rough is the best way I can explain this little powerhouse kitchen. Totally normal looking from the street view....but poke your head in and get ready to have your mind blown. I ordered the prawns with onion rings and baked beans. Prawns were fat and fried to perfection. Fries the same. My wife got the bacon and bleau burger, which also was cooked to juicy perfection. But today, and the reason for the low rating was the link sausages they served with pancakes and eggs. Chewing the sausages was like chewing jerky. They must have been on the grill for 3 days.
