Wing snack with fries

8/6/22: We've been here twice in the passed few weeks. We go through the drive thru & the order taker hasn't been the friendliest either time. I ordered a chicken tender kid's meal, & wing snack, bbq sandwich. Both times, my wings were cold. My son enjoyed his kid's meal & my friend also enjoyed the bbq sandwich. We ordered medium drinks & we get huge cups of drinks. I can't imagine what a large looks like. If I go back in the future, I will definitely check my wings first.

This visit to Smithfield's was absolutely epic! Our dinner service began with placing a very quick order, which Mr. McKennies to extra good care of our party. We selected to sit at a table near the northern face of the establishment, which provided comfortable couch seating and two additional static chairs. The food came in a jiffy (extra ordinary swift); hot, and perfectly to our specifications. I have to be critical when I say the fixings on the side need to be a bit more bulky, as they were epically good but, vastly small in proportion. The main courses (chicken & shrimp) were delicious and not full of grease. I do understand food cost is paramount but, having a good balance of food is in order. This is absolutely something I would present to the owners of Smithfield's. I say this not because I think customers should have a plate overflowing with food but, I will volunteer that precautions need to be equally substantial. I go on to say... Lady Mia our iconic waitress performed iconically; even went beyond our expectations, as a member of out party is allergic to shellfish, which Lady Mia stepped in to pull another table near just for our party's convenience of seating. Though-out our Smithfield's experience located at: 4000 Jones Sausage Road Garner, NC 27529 we were showered with good ol' home cooking, great southern hospitality, and professionalism beyond normalcy. Mr. McKennies performed multiple duties, and the one which was making sure the Ladies Restroom had a fully operational soap dispenser after malfunctioning. His leadership was epic. In conclusion, we had an absolutely outstanding time, and I defiantly recommend dinning at this location if you're looking for: Good Food-Good Atmosphere, and feeling welcome. Chopped barbecue, hush puppies, slaw, potato salad and sweet tea

After years of passing Smithfield's locations and never stopping, I finally decided to try it. I had heard the barbecue was surprisingly decent for fast food and I found that to be largely true. Now, no one would mistake this for a famous plate of 'cue from a master smoker, but for a mass-produced product, they do pretty well. The restaurant is a bit cleaner than your typical fast food spot. Not quite Chick-Fil-A clean, but it's not a Burger King or something gross. The menu offers a wide variety and the sides are better than what you'd find at most fast food restaurants. The fried okra, for example, is pretty tasty. I also liked the soft serve ice cream machine and it was kind of like being in an old-school cafeteria again. If you want North Carolina barbecue, don't go here expecting something great. But if you are traveling through and need a quick vote then you could do a lot worse than a meal here.

Back again and still highly disappointed with the service felt like I was bothering them just by placing an order !! I didn't let it ruin my day but it's unacceptable because some people will react differently especially Since I've been in the same spot for 20 minutes

It's been years since I've been to Smithfield's, like 15 years. I always remembered it being usual fried chicken, but after getting some coupons in the mail I figured I'd give it another try. And I'm glad I did! The chicken here is amazing, and they give you a huge amount of shoestring fries which were the best I've had at any fast food restaurant! And the service here is better than any fast food place, they bring your food to the table and will even take your garbage and refill your drinks. I can't believe I missed out on Smithfield's for so many years!

I placed an order at 10:30 a.m. for a 30-person Tailgate Package and literally picked it up about 35 minutes later. Awesome Service, awesome food! Thank you all!

Chicken was very dry, all the other food was bland. The bathrooms were dirty and the staff was very rude. I won't come here again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Alpaca and it exceeded all my expectations! I had never…read moretried any Peruvian styled chicken before so initially I was a little wary, but it was amazing and is definitely a favorite now. Their sides were good as well, I had the plantains and will be getting those every time! The service was attentive, patient, and really friendly as I was a first time customer so that was much appreciated! Overall, I highly recommend this spot for any newcomers wanting to try something new or anyone who loves Peruvian food! I'll definitely be coming back!

Inside, the restaurant has a setup similar to Chipotle, but more with a Peruvian style feel. To order you walk up to the counter to place your order. I ordered the 1/4 chicken combo which comes with two sides. For the chicken you can choose dark or meat. For the sides I chose the corn (which was a bit undercooked) and rice. The chicken was good but it reminded me a bit of higher quality rotisserie chicken you might pick up from the store. My biggest hesitation is probably the value for the price. The 1/4 chicken meal portion feels a little expensive for the size. The daily specials seem like the better value since they also come with a drink. My partner ordered the daily special chicken tacos. They arrived cold and were covered with more raw onions then we personally prefer. The standout for both of us was the green sauce and you could add this to anything to make it taste good. Overall I'd still consider giving it another try if I'm even in a pinch and am looking for a good chicken meal.

So glad Taste Da Vibez is finally in Garner! Let me just say--there are so many options that I…read morealready know I'll be back. On my first visit, I ordered the hamburger steak with rice, along with mac and cheese and green beans for my sides. Everything was good and full of flavor. The sides definitely gave classic comfort, out-the-box/canned vibes--but still seasoned well and satisfying. Most importantly, it's refreshing to have something in Garner that isn't just another traditional fast-food spot. The service was great and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back and trying more off the menu!

While the location is great, the business doesn't stand out well enough to attract those that may not be looking for it. I parked into the back and entered the back door. While they sell soul food, the vibes feel super Jamaican. Black paint with green and yellow accents. Fairly large and very clean dining area. The cashier didn't really greet me when I walked up. She wasn't rude, but she wasn't friendly or welcoming. She did complement my shirt. Her non-verbal cues made me feel rushed. I had to ask her if they were sold out of anything. That information was not offered. I also had to ask her the price. I ended up ordering the lamb chops plate that came with rice, and two side. I opted for the collards and mac n cheese. It took maybe 5-8 minutes for my plate to come out. 3 other people came in, ordered and left before I did. I think it was because theybhad to grill the lamb chops. Visually the food looked delicious. Very generous serving of everything. However, the collards were the most disappointing collards I've ever had. They didn't taste bad. They just weren't seasoned AT ALL!! they just tasted like a collard with pepper flakes. The rice was just plain and Not seasoned. The mac n cheese was pretty good. They need to season the pasta a bit more and use a more flavorful cheese. The star was the lamb chops. They were a good size, seasoned extremely well, tender, and grilled to perfection! On top of that they gave me 4. They're They're the reason I'm giving 4 stars. I washed all of that down with a slice of their pineapple cake. It tasted like box cake with canned crushed pineapple on top. But it was delicious. I'd go back just for the lamb chops and cake. At $40 though, i won't go back too often. I hope the other sides are much better though!!

On Wednesday's they were doing all gluten-free menu and it was amazing...no crazy unreasonable upcharges, just honest menu pricing and great food. As of this review they are the #2 most reviewed place in Raleigh only behind the Pit. When we went last week for a farewell dinner it took us 3 weeks to get in. We got turned away 2 other times. The place was always packed and busy yet cozy and calm with great service. Hopefully they relocate or put some of the items from the menu at Pooles. Fuquay could use a nice place like this and it would be way cheaper than Raleigh! Best of luck to the staff in the future as they all look for work.

I understand as if you aren't seated when they open, you can expect a 90-minute to two-hour wait. I was hoping to get the Chicken Pot Pie this time and thought my prior visit was just off. I was thrilled that most of the menu was available. They were just out of the banana pudding. So I got to try the pecan wings I read about with the white sauce. It was so good. Then I got the chicken pot pie and biscuits. The pot pie had old biscuits for the topping, but the creamy mixture with large chunks of chicken was delicious. My biscuits came with honey and were served warm. I left with a slice of the chocolate-caramel-coconut cake, a side salad without onions, and a fried boneless thigh. The salad was made correctly, and the dressing was included. The salad was full of veggies, and the cake was rich and moist. Service was friendly and as soon as I finished my iced tea, another appeared. My wings were brought out first and it was a while for the rest of the meal as the restaurant was full. But they didn't rush me at all. I actually liked the space between the dishes, as I might not have been able to eat it all otherwise. I couldn't finish both biscuits and was even provided a container for the honey. I am going to miss Beasley's, but I'm glad I got a positive experience to remember the restaurant.
