Went through the drive thru. It was my first visit. It was super busy, but the order taker was very friendly and polite. She took my order and payment very quickly and I moved along the very slow drive thru line. When I got my food, which was just a kid's meal, my fries were cold and soggy, and my chicken strips were cold. I waited a long time to get that food for it to be almost inedible. It was after 3 pm, and there were a lot of customer's, so I don't understand the cold food. I didn't feel like turning around to complain especially because the parking lot is one way in/out. It's too much of a hassle to maneuver with all those cars in drive thru. If I'm back in the area, I would give them another try. I will just check my food before pulling off.

Workers incredibly rude. Didn't receive a straw, sauce or napkins. Then open my chicken minis and they are thrown in the box like shown in the photo.

My daughter had a Christmas gift card. Food was hot and I didn't realize they had a diet lemon shake. It was delicious! 10/10

I am truly a fan. However, I struggle with your company's DEI rollback. It doesn't help that my orders are consistently filled incorrectly.

Wish I could rate this place negative stars. Sat in drive thru line for 23 minutes and there were only 6 cars in line total.

Although I currently can't speak to the atmosphere, I will say the dish I ordered was amazing. After reviewing the menu though, I will say the price points are incredibly reasonable. All the food is freshly made to order. He brought me back the Pollo Saltado. This dish included tender chicken, sautéed tomatoes and onions; it is served over french fries with a side of white rice. It comes with two different sauces, a green creamy, jalapeño sauce with a kick and a somewhat sweet yellow sauce that when combined is absolutely delicious! My dish was amazing and I can't wait to have it again and try some new ones. The only complaint regarding my order was there was a bone in one of my chicken strips, that thankfully I felt while using my fork. I'm honestly unsure why there was a bone in the chicken because they are strips, not wings or anything. That being said, if it came from a full chicken, I assume there would be bones left in there? I would still order this again but just be careful because it was so delicious!

And those spices they put on it are beyond reproach. My boyfriend works in Morrisville, so he frequents the location out there, and he's always raving about it. He brought me here for lunch today and I loved the atmosphere. There's a giant stuffed alpaca that greets you when you walk in and you place your order at the counter. The women working were very friendly and patient while I decided what I wanted. I ordered the 1/4 white meat chicken meal with fries and beans and rice. They also have yellow (mild) and green (spicy) sauces for dipping. My boyfriend ordered the 1/4 white meat meal with fries and coleslaw. They load a tray with your meals, you pay, get your drinks, sauces and silverware and you find a place to sit. The sides I tried were all incredible. The fries are perfection; crispy and thick cut. The rice and beans were delicious. Next time I'm trying the green beans and tostones. I also appreciate how delicious and strong their unsweetened tea is. Someone posted a review about wanting to eat here 7 days a week and I totally get it. I want to return tonight for dinner! LOL!!

On my first visit, I ordered the hamburger steak with rice, along with mac and cheese and green beans for my sides. Everything was good and full of flavor. The sides definitely gave classic comfort, out-the-box/canned vibes--but still seasoned well and satisfying. Most importantly, it's refreshing to have something in Garner that isn't just another traditional fast-food spot. The service was great and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back and trying more off the menu!

While the location is great, the business doesn't stand out well enough to attract those that may not be looking for it. I parked into the back and entered the back door. While they sell soul food, the vibes feel super Jamaican. Black paint with green and yellow accents. Fairly large and very clean dining area. The cashier didn't really greet me when I walked up. She wasn't rude, but she wasn't friendly or welcoming. She did complement my shirt. Her non-verbal cues made me feel rushed. I had to ask her if they were sold out of anything. That information was not offered. I also had to ask her the price. I ended up ordering the lamb chops plate that came with rice, and two side. I opted for the collards and mac n cheese. It took maybe 5-8 minutes for my plate to come out. 3 other people came in, ordered and left before I did. I think it was because theybhad to grill the lamb chops. Visually the food looked delicious. Very generous serving of everything. However, the collards were the most disappointing collards I've ever had. They didn't taste bad. They just weren't seasoned AT ALL!! they just tasted like a collard with pepper flakes. The rice was just plain and Not seasoned. The mac n cheese was pretty good. They need to season the pasta a bit more and use a more flavorful cheese. The star was the lamb chops. They were a good size, seasoned extremely well, tender, and grilled to perfection! On top of that they gave me 4. They're They're the reason I'm giving 4 stars. I washed all of that down with a slice of their pineapple cake. It tasted like box cake with canned crushed pineapple on top. But it was delicious. I'd go back just for the lamb chops and cake. At $40 though, i won't go back too often. I hope the other sides are much better though!!

Smithfield's needs to take pride in what they do and what they offer. We went through the drive thru and ordered 2 barbecue sandwiches...which came very light on the coleslaw and the meat was not chopped....instead it was trings of meat and the cole slaw was more like cabbage leaves--not finely chopped at all. And then to have waited for cold food? And as for the large coke (32 oz) chock full of ice barely any coke. The young man at the window seemed a tad bit perturbed when I asked him for less ice and more soda. For us, this place is a "I don't think so any time soon".

On Wednesday's they were doing all gluten-free menu and it was amazing...no crazy unreasonable upcharges, just honest menu pricing and great food. As of this review they are the #2 most reviewed place in Raleigh only behind the Pit. When we went last week for a farewell dinner it took us 3 weeks to get in. We got turned away 2 other times. The place was always packed and busy yet cozy and calm with great service. Hopefully they relocate or put some of the items from the menu at Pooles. I understand as if you aren't seated when they open, you can expect a 90-minute to two-hour wait. I was hoping to get the Chicken Pot Pie this time and thought my prior visit was just off. I was thrilled that most of the menu was available. They were just out of the banana pudding. So I got to try the pecan wings I read about with the white sauce. It was so good. Then I got the chicken pot pie and biscuits. The pot pie had old biscuits for the topping, but the creamy mixture with large chunks of chicken was delicious. My biscuits came with honey and were served warm. I left with a slice of the chocolate-caramel-coconut cake, a side salad without onions, and a fried boneless thigh. The salad was made correctly, and the dressing was included. The salad was full of veggies, and the cake was rich and moist. Service was friendly and as soon as I finished my iced tea, another appeared. My wings were brought out first and it was a while for the rest of the meal as the restaurant was full. But they didn't rush me at all. I actually liked the space between the dishes, as I might not have been able to eat it all otherwise. I couldn't finish both biscuits and was even provided a container for the honey. I am going to miss Beasley's, but I'm glad I got a positive experience to remember the restaurant.
