Good food but your typical Panera Bread. We placed our order with the tablets for convenience​. We didn't know that they ran out of bread bowls until we received our food. Instead, they gave us a bowl of soup with a small piece of bread. We basically paid the full price of the bread bowl for a small bowl of soup and bread. I'm not sure if I will return. read more

I go to Panera bread often, very often and the employees are great. They always make my visit a great one BUT not tonight. The cashier made me frown up my face. She didn't act like I was a whole adult and a customer. First I asked her if I could pay cash or does she need a card. Maybe we are still not on a change shortage but I know for a fact THIS Panera bread had a sign up asking that you use cards. She looked at me like I had asked her too do something illegal. I felt like I had just asked the stupidest question and then when she gave me my change she said," here you go". No, $17.45 is your change so I didn't know how much she gave especially when she just balled it up and put it in my hand. She didn't even tell me the price. She said come on up. Thank God I order the same thing often. I am going to say she was tired and just having a long night. Because I know this is NOT Panera behavior. Plenty of parks, store always nice and clean. Can I give zero stars? They have a TOUCHSCREEN ordering system and still managed to screw up an order beyond belief. Ordered a half sandwich with no mayo to go. The sandwich is supposed to come with basil and mozzarella as well. Well, it came with mayo, and no basil or cheese AT ALL. It's infuriating because mayo isn't exactly something you can scrape off and get rid of the taste, and this happens more often than it should. To top it off, my wife drove home before checking the order, assuming that they can't screw it up with the online ordering system. It's a 15 minute drive. I tried to call to location to rectify the issue, definitely not during their busy times as stated in the voice message, used the prompts to talk to a manager, and guess what? 15 seconds after choosing the option to speak to a manager, I get a fast busy and the system terminated my call. The receipt has a place for the name of the person who checked the order. Guess what? It's BLANK! That's a great reason why I'm never going back to this location, and maybe just swearing off Panera in general. They're dead to me. read more

Went through the drive thru and ordered the Warm Mediterranean Bowl with Chicken and got a Pumpkin Muffin which was a freebie for downloading the app. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the bowl was. It was fresh and had lots of flavor. I will definitely order it again. It came with some french baguette bread which was fresh and I popped it in the air fryer to heat it up. Later in the evening I took the pumpkin muffin out of the fridge and took a nibble. I wanted to save it for breakfast, but dang-it. I gobbled it all up. It was sooo yummy. There was a crunchy top with a sprinkle of powder sugar and the inside was moist I've never had a bad experience at a Panera. Always a good choice. read more

The inside is very spacious and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the food was good as it normally is at Panera. I've been eating at Panera Bread for half my life. Unfortunately, it's gone from an excellent place to get sandwiches to a very expensive sub par food restaurant. I tried their chicken sandwich tonight that was a processed chicken party with about a half tsp of mayo on the entire sandwich and something that looked like styrofoam and a piece of lettuce so small that you could have not even say it had lettuce. I got 1/2 Cobb salad and asked for extra dressing. I got 2 with 1/2 tsp in each cup. A medium tea and I got to pay 26.00. It was disgusting. I'm glad I got the salad so that I could finish making the sandwich after adding more mayo. Idk what the styrofoam things were. But with Zaxbys next door I see why they were packed and Panera was empty. read more

Absolutely worthless. Been several times and always out of bagels. Like 10 in the morning. How is a bagel place out of bagels on the weekends by 10am? Not just once, but on multiple occasions. The food is decent but every time I come here, I wait in the drive thru at least 5 minutes before they even say welcome then once your order is placed, you gonna be sitting and waiting for another 10-15 minutes for your actual food. This is our local Panera's and we've eaten there since they opened. Just recently they have dropped the pizza and bowls from their menu permanently and now serve only sandwiches and soups. This is very disappointing as I have several food allergies and the bowls were the one thing I could get. Why on earth would they shoot themselves in the foot this way? I rarely write reviews but had to for this location because the manager was amazing and I ate my entire meal and loved every bit. The manager, I think his name was John, sets the bar high. He was the one to take our order, was personable, touched every table in the restaurant and checked on guests, took trash out, was picking up trash on the floor. He definitely knows how to run the place and set a good example for his employees. And the food was so good. From the publicly telegraphed dirty laundry ("employees who don't want to come to work") abundantly posted at his location beginning with the outermost window, it's clear to see there is unresolved conflict that needs some Doctor Phil treatment to bring closure. A positive is that the remaining staff, keeping this operation afloat, seemed to be as attentive as allowable and the food seemed to be somewhat at the Panera standard but it makes you wonder. The items announced as unavailable presented as a rehearsed repeated cadence by every employee who were taking orders seemed to include some basic and easy Panera staples like mac 'n' cheese, soups, and chips and I found that to be a peculiar observation and wondered if it was related to the current dilapidated dysfunction of this location. What really shortened my visit or was the collage of garbage and evidence of previous visits that littered the ground and various tables, which had me searching longer than I'd like to admit for a place to eat with my family. I've had a long history of eating at Panera and have always had a good experience and the purpose of my post is to bring awareness where there may be none to save this location before it leads to locked doors and unemployment. I regularly eat at Panera. This location is the dirtiest Panera I have ever eaten at. I visited in the middle of the afternoon two and a half hours after lunch and there was not a clean table in the place. They were not busy either .I told the guy making food how bad it was and he said his dining room attendant would be right out. 15 minutes later this guy walks about, picked up one tables dirty dishes and swept the area in front of the trash cans without putting the broom and dustpan back out of sight. No lids or straws were at the beverage station and it was as dirty as the 20 tables he passed by. The parking lot is littered with trash. The food was as expected but it's a shame they don't take pride in where they work. read more

The food wasn't the most exceptional experience overall. I am unsure how a sandwich is burned around the bread but served cold? Anyhow, the Garner Panera Bread managed to facilitate that challenge despite it wasn't requested. The soup tasted a bit microwaved because it wasn't hot entirely throughout. I will admit the only salvation was the macaroon. Overall, plenty of parking. Do expect to wait on self, order by a kiosk, and pick up your food when the pager is alerted. Tables are not wiped down, and trashcan areas where plates are returned appear stacked over a long period. Mainly, you are on your own at a premium cost. Perhaps the Panera​​ Bread in Cary might be a bit more to your liking and expectations of what Panera should be representing. read more

When I first got there I wasn't pleased at how dirty it was. Within 30 minutes of being there the staff cleaned it up and filled up all the drinks. I think my arrival was right after a rush. The staff was pleasant. I was meeting there for a study group and they were very accommodating with us being there. We even were able to try there mac n cheese before we left. I was pleasantly surprised. I wanted a chai latte but the calories was caused me to change my mind. It's difficult when you are counting calories and many of the drinks are the same amount as a meal. There were many flavors of hot tea and they were 0 calories. I was very pleased with the green tea with ginger. We will definitely be back in the future for another study date or to enjoy some of the food. read more
