3/26/25: NASTY, NASTY, NASTYYYYYY!!!! I don't know why I didn't review their rating first, but anyway. We ordered a Baconator combo & a spicy chicken sandwich plain. Simple enough, right?? Well, the problem started when my friend asked for HOT fries. The fry girl clearly didn't appreciate the request & rolled her eyes and mumbled that they are always hot. That's definitely not true. She had ONE job...to stand at the fries and fill them up for the customers. She gave us BURNT fries first. Then, we asked for fresh ones again. While my friend waited for our food, I went to their restroom. It was disgusting and unclean. It smelled horrible too & it was too nasty to use. When I went back out, we finally had fresh fries, but she gave us like 20 in total as a punishment because she was annoyed. I was ready to get a refund on ALL the food, but my friend was starving. So, he kept it. My chicken sandwich was cold, old, and rubbery. So, back to the counter I went. I told the cashier immediately that I wanted a refund and didn't want them to remake it because it's been too many issues already. She took the sandwich, went to talk to the fry girl and continued taking orders like I wasn't there. She took this guy's nugget order, dropped his sauce on the floor, picked it up, & threw it into his bag before handing it to him. I was shocked but he took the bag & went in his way. I thought that was so disgusting! I stood there for another 10 minutes & then she asked me if I wanted another sandwich. I made that clear that I didn't 20 mins ago when I gave her the sandwich. She finally went to get the manager to get my refund together. They acted like they were mad that I wanted my money back. Really???? I wouldn't give a stray dog that sandwich. They didn't apologize. They didn't say anything. Just aggressively put the refund into my hand & I walked off. They need serious help here. They are rude. They are dirty. They don't clean their restrooms & everyone is just standing around talking. They have a chip on their shoulder & hate to be asked for fresh food. The problem is that we shouldn't have to ask for it - It should just be fresh! It isn't. I'm never coming back to this location. Their low score says a lot & it's not a lie. Never again! read more

On line ordering is a nightmare. Personnel at location does not care about their customers. Waited 18 minutes in front of cashier and told her my name immediately upon getting there and after 18 minutes and 8 customers later she said I needed to check in. Really? Garner, NC location on 1020 Timber Drive East is the worst location of Wendy's we have ever experienced. We were charged twice by using the Mobile app and got a no care attitude from that location when they made us pay again for our food. They would not refund or money and after calling the customer service # the next day we are told we had to wait for the General Manager to call us back. We will be fighting this on pure principle and will never return to what once was one of our favorite fast food places that we have had no problem in other states. That location as well as all the locations around it all have horrible reviews and the Wendy's brand name is taking a huge beating in the Garner/Clayton North Carolina area. This Wendy's fails to incorporate the freshest feeling of food and service I've​ experienced​. The buns are moist and cold - almost soggy feeling. The beef patties are thin yet lukewarm​ feeling as if there is no burger at all or perhaps has been sitting idle for quite a long time. The fries are cold and lackluster in flavor or taste. Sadly, the specialized drink machine is always on the fritz or improperly serviced where drink selections are minimal or excluded. I just ordered food from this location, as I was eating I flipped my chicken sandwich around and saw mold on the bottom bun. As a fast food place you guys are REQUIRED to check your inventory to make sure nothing goes bad. I am highly sick to my stomach that you guys failed to check before serving any customer. Darius was a really sweet kid. They're system was Down on Christmas Eve and he was really polite and sweet, I still managed to get my food!

The buns were not fresh, we both tried to eat our burgers without the buns we waited a very long time for! We had to pay cash because their machines were down, and waiting inside the store took forever. I guess we should have realized there was a reason it wasn't crowded! I had previously thought this was a halfway decent Wendy's but today I discovered that either I lucked up on the previous visits or they've seriously gone downhill recently. The drive-thru was horribly slow and I have to say the guy taking the order sounded like someone they hired with no qualifications whatsoever...it was that bad. Got the order home and the fries were totally cold so had to pop them into the microwave for a few seconds to make them edible (only live maybe 15 mins. away - not enough time for them to lose all warmth). The Dave's Doubles were pretty good although they were dripping sauce all over the place. The Coke Zeroes tasted awful, like little to no syrup was in them. And I guess the pandemic and/or inflation are to blame for the outrageous price of two Dave's Doubles combos ($22.00!) Anyway, needless to say, I will not return to this Wendy's again and I would urge others to avoid them as well because apparently their management is a joke. read more

I've ordered a burger from this Wendys twice and both times it was SO disappointing. Today I decided I'll Yelp it, since they should know that they need to improve. Just pitiful!! So they have a so called "express ordering system" that's slower than two sloths crossing the road. The elderly lady who takes order will ring you up for whatever she wants you to have versus what you order which is odd. My first time dining in didn't go too well. My friend and I waited 20 minutes inside to order and the food wasn't too great either. Slow, unfriendly, loud employees, drink machine areas and the dining area was not clean at all, and it smelled weird. Personally would not go back. This Wendy's Franchise is horrible! They always make you wait, even if you're the only car in the pickup lane. I went today to get a baked Potato (Cheese sauce, Bacon bits, Sour Cream, Chive) 10 Piece Nuggets combo and a large Mago/Pineapple drink. The manager is rude and has an attitude no matter the time of day. I got home after driving 12 miles round trip only to find that I was missing the fries. I was willing to let that slide but the Potato only had a single strip of Bacon placed down a split Potato and Chives. I called back but no one answered. I got back in the car and drove once again the 12 miles round trip. I told the employee what happened. She called the Female manager who said, "What you missing?" I show her the Potato and she asked again, "What you missing?" I told her the Cheese and the fries. She immediately became nasty. She told me that I had the fries because she packed it. I said, Ma'am the fries weren't in the bag. She repeated, "I know they were in there because I packed the bag!" I said Ma'am, the only thing in the bag was the Potato and the Nuggets." She flirted away and asked for Cheese. She gave me shredded Cheese in a small container, not the melted Cheese sauce and threw the fries in a bag and handed it to the Associate. I Saud Ma'am keep it because you are so mean. The Associate didn't know what to do. She was literally holding the bag. She put the cup of Cheese in the bag. I told her, "thank you" and left. There wasn't a car behind me but I didn't want to it give her the feedback that she wanted. I frequent there often because it is close by and I just got braces, do I must eat something soft but I'd rather drive across town or to another competitor for better service. This place is so bad that I signed up for yelp just to leave a review. Ordered $50 worth of food for my family and everyone's meal was messed up except for the kids meal. There was a HUGE puddle of water in the lobby that was there for well over an hour. When I went back to get my refund the manager was pretty rude and never even apologized for the inconvenience. Employees are leaning around doing nothing meanwhile the store is so dirty it looks like they lost funding for cleaning supplies.
