Food and Drink: I had Meat & Bite for the first time while on a work trip! For dinner, I had the special with a smashburger, chicken tenders and french fries. The smashburger was phenomenal!!! It had their special sauce, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, and cheese on it. The burger was well seasoned and cooked just right with those smashburger crispy edges. The chicken tenders were also well seasoned, crispy, fresh, and actually tender to the bite. The fries had the perfect amount of salt and crisp and I didn't expect to get it, but my meal also came with a nice slice of texas toast. Overall, I left with a good first impression, and am definitely coming back next time I'm in Raleigh. Customer Service: Upon arrival, the owner introduced herself to me and welcomed me in. She was soooooo friendly!!! I appreciated her entrusting me to one of her cashiers for recommendations when I told her it was my first visit! He was down to earth and very outgoing when asking what I had a taste for and how hungry I was and advising how he hooks his food up! Needless to say, him recommending the special was the best idea! Stopped by for some tacos after seeing pictures of them on Google, but I found out their menu only really has burgers now. We got 2 cheeseburgers, which were $7 each to go. They were simple but yummy burgers, close to a smash burger but not quite that thin, so more like a thin patty. The bread was nice and chewy and the burger's cheese and sauce made it a flavorful burger. The meat however was a bit chewy. It was a solid 3.5/5 burger. Service was friendly and good came out for take out within 10 minutes. Parking is very limited. It's off the side of a main road and has about 3 spots in front of the restaurant. Sooooo good if you want something with a bit of heat. 3 chicken tacos - hands down the BEST, most flavorful tacos I've had this year. A MUST TRY. So we'll seasoned. Onions , cilantro , aioli and cheese compliment the chicken perfectly. (These tacos got us to return the next day for more. That's how good they are, same with the smash burger) Garlic Parmesan Wings- Perfectly Cooked, well coated in Garlic Parmesan sauce. Excellent presentation. So yummy The Fries was a surprising hit! The tender and flavorful chicken was wrapped in a soft, heated to golden tortilla wrap and complimented with crispy, potatoey fries with every bite. Truly indeed it is meat and bite. During my first visit I had the hot fried chicken sandwich combo and it was amazing and super fresh. "Tasty sandwiches and wraps right off NCSU's campus" Right on Hillsborough Road right across from campus is this hole-in-the-wall option. We came here on a Thursday evening around 6pm... a good number of people were there. I ordered the Chicken Tawouk wrap (combo option, so with fries and bottle drink), and the rest of my party had sandwiches or chicken strips. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. There are a few outdoor tables as well, and we grabbed one of those. The food came out in about 10 minutes or so. My wrap was DELICIOUS-- I loved the combination of flavors. Really tasty, though a bit messy to eat since it dripped a lot. The fries were fine -- nothing to write home about. The rest of my party loved their food too. The service was EXCELLENT. Very friendly. Even though we sat outside, they checked on us multiple times, and even brought us some complementary bits (including extra water bottles since it was hot outside). The price is not unreasonable-- not a cheap place but fine for being right by campus on a busy street and fair for the quality we got. Overall, I'd come back. Good food at decent price. read more

Their kitchen is filled with a very diverse staff that has inspired a sort of fusion restaurant that also still serves classics like kofta or birria We got the kofta taco and the chicken tawouk sandwich and both were extremely flavorful, and delicious. The tacos are decent size, and you could probably get filled up with 2-3 tacos. The chicken tawouk was huge, and also stuffed with fries. But anything good is worth waiting. Can't rush perfection. The fries are soooo crispy. Loved that. The owner (or who I presume to be the owner) was very kind. He feels like your favorite uncle making you your favorite sandwich. Yes this will become your new favorite sandwich. This place is VERY CLEAN. The service was absolutely delightful.
