This is one of the better Chipotle locations I've been to. I do find the quality of the Chipotle tends to be reflective of the neighborhood and this was quite solid. Now we know what the food is, it tends to be the same everywhere, so I won't talk about that in this review. But when I'm visiting Chipotle, I'm watching for cleanliness, attitude, and portion size. On a Saturday afternoon, the tables were kept clean (not always the case at other locations) and the staff was pretty engaging. My disappointment was when I asked for guac, the employee used the last little bit of what was left in the bin and moved my bowl along. Truthfully, it was about 2/3 of a typical serving. For the $2.75 we pay for it (as of this writing anyway), that's just not acceptable. read more

This is the best Chipotle I have ever been to! I have only been to this location once so I can only base my review off of this experience. The food here was amazing! I tasted flavors in the rice and steak that I had not tasted at other locations. It was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth! There was plenty of staff working and each person was friendly. My only complaint was that the peppers and onions weren't really cooked. If I were ever in the area again, I would definitely return to this location! read more

I frequent this location because it is convenient not because of the service because the service was terrible until the new manager (Joshua) was brought in. He isn't hiding away in the office, but out front helping the servers, wiping down tables, refilling the utensils and napkins dispensers and even emptying trash cans. He is very personable and kind. Before he came, the servers; with the exception of a few, were rude, detached and treated each requests like an inconvenience. They never smiled and the request for proteins was an act of Congrss. They spooned less than the normal quantity and would even shake off a cube of meat. The amount was half of half of the portions of proteins that fit on the spoon that you are paying for and they'd pick up the peppers and onions individually with the tongs like they were squirming livebait. He has completely changed that. Nothing is free and I don't expect to get freebies butChipotle is expensive, and you expect to get what you are paying for. Joshua is training the servers how to greet customers and to serve with a smile. Your employees are absolutely pathetic. You guys skimp everybody out on food when I pay $20 for a bowl. I expect it to be loaded. I recently went in there to pick up a bowl for one of my coworkers and I asked for double meat and the lady actually ended up scraping out some of the meat out of my bowl because she felt like she put too much in there. We checked and the chicken was very pink. She was so sick for days throwing up. We told the manager (I think his name was manny) and he didn't care at all. If you have ever been to this location you know how they run their store. Always trash and food everywhere and people playing around instead of working. Their work areas are always disgusting. The management doesn't care and refuses to give you a corporate number because they know how bad they are. I gave them another chance before when they gave me uncooked rice but never again. Horrible horrible experience here. Complete waste of 30 dollars. I am from Greensboro so always went to barberitos and man did this experience make me miss barbs. Starting with the prices...almost 5 dollars for chips and guac. Smallest portion of guac, stale cold chips with no salt. 10 dollar for a bowl with chicken, rice, beans, peppers and salsa. The bare bones of a burrito bowl for ten bucks only for it to be tossed together in the messiest way possible. Same goes for the burrito. Stingy with portions, overpriced items. Now let's get to the service. I went in with a smile and kind attitude and understand that due to the nature of how the restaurant is run it's going to be fast paced. However for new customers or customers that haven't returned in a while, it was literally borderline embarrassing. When I asked what a certain salsa was, I was given the most condescending stare ever. At the end of the whole thing I kindly asked if I could add a fountain drink. The lady ignored me and looked at the bag of food and said "will this be all?" I said "yes thank you. Oh wait, did you hear the drink I wanted to add on?" And she took the nastiest tone with me. I was honestly shocked because I truly was trying to be nice to here and even smiled at her. I genuinely don't like to leave bad reviews. While the food appeared to be okay (steak bowl with pintos and brown rice), and the health score was near perfect - 97, the dining area was a gross mess. Even while business was slow, nobody (meaning employees or management) took any initiative to wipe down tables, so there would be someplace for guests to sit down and eat. Trash cans couldn't handle any more trash - just overflowing and spilling out to the floor. There were no forks to be found at the utensils station, still not refilled by the time we left. This Chiptloe is always out of food. It is 3pm and they are out of steak, which is a common problem for this location, they are always out of something. The store floors, tables, and counters are always dirty. Someone needs to be tidying the dining area and prep area. This is becoming ridiculous, Garner needs a new chiptloe. read more

Half the time they mess up my online order. The most egregious example was when I put in an order, waited for 1.5 hours, and then had my order cancelled. Mind you they gave no reason for ever cancelling my order. It is completely unacceptable to have to wait that long and have your order cancelled at the end. When I get into the building there is only one worker working the line. It was a shorter hispanic girl, when I get up to the line I ask for double white rice (which isn't very hard) and the worker gives me less than she would on a regular time. I gave this store 3 chances, and the staff at this location consistently GOT WORSE every visit. I am mind blown that this location does volume. My husband and I stopped by for a quick lunch. The food was warm and delicious. They were a little busy- but everyone was pleasant. The serving was a lot smaller than I am use to when I go to other Chipotle restaurants. We had to ask for double rice and double meat and was charged extra when we usually get one spoon worth of meat -when at other restaurant when we had to ask for 2 spoons.
