It's pricey but good quality and large portions. The sliders are huge. Don't mistake them for being small. Plenty of parking in a shared lot by the garage. Tables are easy to maneuver around with an assistive device. Would come back. I have 4 stars because it took a long time. I suppose good food takes time but it also takes the fast out of fast food to wait 15 + minutes for a small order. I'll be better prepared next time. I also deducted because the bathrooms were nasty and there was no toilet paper in the stall. It says to flush twice and it's apparent people didnt because the toilet was stopped up and I couldn't get myself to use it. Then finding no toilet paper was enough to make me skip it all together. I would definitely make it a littler easier with the pick up. First off we couldn't hear what number they called and some of us older folk can't remember numbers. I had to get my receipt to confirm the number because I couldn't remember if it was 5 or 6 or what. Then the order came and looked nothing like I expected and I had to check again to make sure I had the right number. If they can keep the bathrooms clean and call the numbers a little louder, I think it would help a bit.

Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in that sweet-spicy glaze that has depth of flavor. Messy in the best way possible. Unfortunately, chicken wings at Bonchon tasted much better for me. The cold bibimbap was refreshing and well-balanced -- fresh veggies and a nice chilled contrast to the hot wings. It felt light but still satisfying. I am not sure if the hot bibimbap would've tasted better. I was expecting more flavor, and more side dishes, being it a Korean restaurant. Service was good. The BEST KFC in U.S…read more KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) is THE soul food of Korea deeply rooted in korean culture. Grew up eating different style of KFC in Korea, California, HI. Other places tried in GA, NY and VA. And it is absolutely surprising that my #1 KFC is here in Raleigh. FYI, I met the owner - who cooks himself in the kitchen - states he fries the chicken himself due to quality control. He also trains and creates menu for other KFC place in LA That being said, KFC is absolute best here and I just can't believe it is here in NC. Food: they have pretty small menu and the reason is-- their specialty is KFC. I've tried their pork belly Ssam (korean wrap) and although it was good I have to say- I've had better in Ssam specialty restaurant. So let's talk about what I come here for. That's right. KFC. I do not do take out either. It's fried. You will get the best taste out of it straight out of the fryer to the plate. So I order , usually one plate of no sauce which is just battered and fried then another plate of soga (soy sauce garlic) sauce which is my very favorite: you can expect savory, salty, sweet with hint of mild spice. Once in a great while I would order traditional sauce if I'm in the mood for more spicy sauce. The chicken is very juice while the batter is so crispy. It is a must to drink beer with it (chi-mek) I usually order korean or asahi beer. Venue: this is not a typical look of KFC but it works. Pretty large to accommodate any occasions. They also have private room with karaoke for small party. They also recently added a corner with some korean grocery. Service: I see lots of turnover here as far as with servers as they are young man/women. But Dave who goes to Raleigh and also wake Forrest location is absolutely exceptional - and I was also grateful the owner came to our table to check up on us. Perhaps we went during off hour he was able to. Typically always busy here with customers and take outs. All in all.. here, the secret is out.

The panoply of options is very fun, as you can get a small chicken wrap, small chicken quesadilla, and hush puppies all in one order. The sizes definitely allow for trying of different things! We ordered the watermelon shake with extra watermelon (recommended by neighbor) and it was LOVELY! The black seeds threw me off, but other than that, it was a light, refreshing, and tasty experience. We will definitely make that an annual, peak of summer practice!

But the lady that handed out the orders was very rude to everyone. She would say the number one time then immediately yell the number in an angry tone. My number was called at the same time as another order, when we both approached the counter, I asked which one was number 28. She said this one. She's holding one, she has another in front of her but never moves. I still didn't know which one was mine nor did the other person. I picked up the one on the counter and she screams "28!" At this point I don't know if I'm touching my order or the other person's. Then I made the mistake of asking for sauce, which is what the guy told us at the register to do, "ask when you get your order." So, I said, "we would like the onion ring sauce." She keeps asking "which one?" I didn't know there was more than one. She huffs, turns grabs a sauce and slams it down. Holy cow! What a way to treat people. The food was good, but I'll not be back to that location. I don't expect to be treated like I'm a problem when I'm paying for food. We ate in, and she was this way to everyone.

I ordered the trailer park combo which comes with a trailer park taco (Fried chicken, green chiles, pico de gallo, mixed cheese with poblano sauce on a flour tortilla), queso and a drink. I'd recommend taking the lettuce off as I feel like it overpowers the taco. I also ordered the Ranch Hand breakfast taco (Cage free eggs, marinated and grilled steak, mixed cheese on a flour tortilla with a side of Diablo sauce). The Diablo sauce is a bit too hot for me so I subbed that for the salsa roja on the side. Both tacos were excellent and remind me of my first time eating Torchy's at their og location in Austin.
