I really enjoyed eating here. I had a grilled shrimp taco and chicken nachos. The taco was really good! My nachos were great as well. The staff were very nice and friendly. The wait time wasn't long either. Although I did think the prices were a bit high for what I consider fast food, I'd definitely eat here again! I dined in and the atmosphere was great.

I haven't been to Torchy's in a a long time. Since I was here last, they added in kiosks where you place your order yourself. I ordered the grilled baja shrimp taco and the mad cow (off the secret menu). These tacos are loaded down, which I appreciate since they are pricey, $6 - $7 each. I found both flavors to be very tasty and the two tacos to be filling. Overall, if you're wanting the classic taco, this is not the place. But it is a good place to try some unique variations of the classic taco.

This is the best authentic Mexican food that I've had in Raleigh. Even better than the larger restaurants. I will definitely recommend it to everyone I know because they will not be disappointed. The service was welcoming and the the whole place is clean and attractive

Torchy's is located near multiple other businesses in a shopping plaza. There is indoor and outdoor seating options at the restaurant. The employees that we engaged with were nice. Orders are placed at the counter with the cashier or a kiosk and then brought to your table. It did not take long for our food to be brought out to us. I love their queso. The Baja shrimp taco & jerk chicken taco, are also good. The churros are served warm with a caramel sauce.

The chicken fajita and brisket tacos were delicious! These tacos are huge, I would have been fine with just 1 since they are overfilled. I ordered from the touchscreen and then the bartender brought them over to my table. All the staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. The bartender was especially polite and gave me a bottle of soda and had such a sweet interaction with one of the kids sitting at the table beside me.

Started off with the Hillbilly queso and it definitely comes with a spicy kick but flavorful and every thing you need from a queso including guacamole. I also love that you can get a half size which is perfect for one person. I was stuck between the Baja shrimp or democrat tacos. The bartender recommended the Democrat, a beef barbacoa, which can be on a corn or flour tortilla. Solid taco, which you should get with all of the toppings for the most authentic flavor. And of course went with a midday watermelon Red Bull margarita, I didn't get much of the watermelon flavor but it did the job. I went around 3pm on a Saturday and it was pretty slow but the staff were friendly and the tacos came out very quickly, within 3-5 minutes of ordering.

LOADED tacos! In fact, for most folks, two tacos are plenty here. We enjoy coming to try the special tacos of the month when we can but every taco on the menu is solid and comes in layers of flavor. The breakfast tacos are also not to be missed. We didn't get it this time but the queso is indeed "damn good" and comes with a few toppings like cilantro, guac, and cotija cheese. This trip, we tried the churros which were excellent because they were freshly made. The service has always been great for us. If you would like to there is an option to use a kiosk to order but you can also always order from a cashier. As someone with food allergies, they allow customizations easily and when you order online, you can select all of your allergies. The place itself is casual but you also get your food brought to you via the food tracker. Bathrooms are clean too which is a plus. Fun Fact: Every Torchy's is unique in design and has its own vibe!

My family dined in. So nice and modern inside. We ordered the Mr. Orange, grilled Baja shrimp, democrat, mad cow, and grande steak burrito. We enjoyed the food every thing was super tasty. It was pretty empty when we arrived but it took about 25 minutes for or 8 tacos. I have seen people discussing the price personally I just felt like the price is the price. If it's not enough food for the price to you go elsewhere.

Clean eating area, tacos came out super fast. The food was great quality. Would recommend this place.

Nice place.. it's a simple order at the front then take your number to your table and they deliver it to you. The food came fairly quickly.. the portions are a bit small but the food was delicious. As a visitor from Texas e we have many Mexican places to choose from and this place comes close.

Sooooo the tacos are delish! I wasn't expecting them to be that feeling, but I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Haha. Both tacos were really good but I think I could just eat the sausage on its own. Waste of calories with the tortilla lol. The churros were awful. Barely any sugar on them and the inside was just too mushy. Oh well. Stick to the tacos. But I wish they explained the sauces to me more.. because I like sauce buffets hah. I'm a dipper!

I've been back a few times since then and my experiences have just been okay. One time, it was a full house and there were no tables available. I asked a worker if there was a line or anything to wait for tables and she was like "maybe something will open up soon" so I just went ahead and got my food to go instead. I do like the way they put most sauces in separate containers so tacos won't be a soggy mess by the time you go home. Last week, I had a not so great experience with the food but the manager resolved it. I'll probably go back one day but it'll be awhile.

I had a great lunch at Torchy's. I arrived right at noon last Saturday for lunch after getting a pedicure nearby. There was already a long line forming. There are menus located right when you walk in to browse before you order at the counter. I was sad that they were out of queso and shrimp during my visit. I ordered the taco of the month; Baja fish, the fried avocado taco, the fried chicken taco, a side of chips and salsa and the Top Shelf margarita. I found a place to sit, and my chips and salsa along with my margarita were brought out to me. The margarita was tiny for the price, but tasty. The chips and salsa were just ok; the chips tasted slightly stale and I wasn't a big fan of the salsa. Then my tacos were brought out to me and I loved them all. Especially the fried avocado. Each one had amazing flavor and they were not skimpy with the fillings. I'm looking forward to return to try other tacos on the menu and their queso.

I also ordered a steak burrito which was much better and was served with melted cheese on the top. There were fatty pieces throughout the burrito but this was far better than the taco. Lastly, I ordered a horchata but it tasted like grainy and wasn't great. If I'm in the area again I may give this a try but I'd definitely stick with a burrito so your food is hot.

Ironworks is a mixed use environment with vendors hawking wears under canopies, alongside brick and mortar stores, shops, and restaurants. Little Rey's (IMO) is Alpaca Restaurant meets Mexican in the best way possible. The line for the food was a solid 30-45 minute wait. So don't be like me, have a seat, pull out your phone, use the code on the table, view menu, and order and pay. However, they have employees who greet customers and begin your drink menu while you wait in line. We ordered the half chicken, Gringa tacos, guacamole, and queso. Little Rey has a pretty extensive salsa bar, with approximately 7-8 varieties. The salsa bar spans the gambit from mild, mid-hot, smoky, and creamy options. The star of the show is the smoked chicken! So good with the corn tortilla, green salsa, grilled onions and grilled jalapeño! Moving forward I'll add an order of the chicken taco to get the perfect bit without the mess! The Gringa/Picadillo taco was good. And while I am a Gringa, and I love a Taco Bell sour cream situation, that almost mayonnaise flavor didn't sit well with my soul. However, the meat itself was super flavorful. I'd ditch the flour tortilla for corn , and opt for another salsa, add pico, and I think we are there. We weren't a fan of the rice, if I'm being honest - but will try again. While I didn't try any alcoholic beverages on this round, I'm stoked to try on my next visit. Plenty of seating, but can get awkward if there are long lines. The party is outside, so that maybe your best bet. Looking forward to grabbing a group of friends for round dos! Northern Mexican: 4.4444
