Wings and a half rack of ribs tonight for dinner. Definitely close to A-OK with the Buffalo Hot wings that were decently meaty but swimming in sauce. The ribs were good. A little overdone and the sauce was too sweet. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. It's important to point out that they do have parking, which in this part of town is a good thing. But I'm not sure if I would choose them again. [Review 11855 overall, 1637 of 2019.]

For a late night snack this hit the spot. The wings and tender were cooked nice and crispy and the fries had a nice kick to it with that Cajun favor.

Ten out of ten will continue to order again! -So "Wings Over Raleigh" has been our "Favorite Fuckups" since we moved to Raleigh. I will have to say though although the first couple times were a bit a miss we continued to give them chances and they have become a staple in our house. We order them usually every Friday lol. Their customer service has dramatically improved as well as shortened wait times. We have consistently had good service as well as quicker than quoted delivery times. So if your delivery is a miss - give them a call and they will happily rectify your order and if not the owner will gladly do it! He runs a tight shift and I have been able to tell a huge change since he has stepped in. Don't give up, sometimes you just need some luck.

Due to COVID, I ordered my food online for pick-up. My order was ready by the time estimated and it was amazing! Fresh and hot. Totally recommend

We stopped by Wings Over Raleigh to pick up a combo pack before a Panthers game watch party today. They have a nice location on Hillsborough street - right across the street from University Towers and Zaxbys. We parked in the lot behind their building - which is really convenient. I was glad that I didn't have to park in front of the store and back out onto Hillsborough. This is my second stop at this Wings over. I enjoy the boneless wings and waffle fries. On my first trip, I ordered a D.C.-3 (all items have an aviation related name). This is their smallest order of boneless wings. It's about 5 big chicken fingers. Today we ordered a Hangar 3 combo pack. I like that you can order up to four different sauce flavors for this combo. We also asked for the ranch seasoning on the waffle fries - yum. Will definitely be back for more boneless wings and waffle fries. I also want to try their Buffalo chicken sandwich next time. Nc state students - walk on over. They have a small but, nice seating area. They also deliver downtown, out to Tryon road (including Renaissance park) and almost out to the fair grounds. Thanks Wings Over! We like your Greenville and Chapel Hill locations too. Also, I took some pictures of their menu for my review too.

I had a hankering for some hot wings last night, and not sure where to go, I consulted the ol' yelp mobile app on our way down the elevator and out the door. I had recalled seeing a spot across from Zaxby's on Hillsborough just down the road. Found it!!! Wings Over Raleigh, I had high hopes and you did NOT disappoint! We were greeted by two very nice ladies. The place seemed a bit empty but I did not let that be a warning. We ordered a 10 wing order and a 15 wing order (all bone-in), and some waffle fries. For the wing orders, you can order a different flavor sauce or dry rub for each group of 5. We ordered: 1) Buffalo style wings: "Cruisin Altitude" - one level hotness above "wimpy" - don't judge! (Delicious!) 2) Jamaican Jerk (very tasty!) 3) Sweet Chili (very sweet, but plays well with others) 4) Garlic Parmesan, a Dry Rub. (OK, but I like it better wet I think). All were delicious, and I ranked them above in my choice of best first. You have your choice of blue cheese or ranch sauce, or both. The wings were large and meaty and I have found my new favorite wing joint! Yay!!!! Pro Tip: When you order your fries, you can ask for them with a dry rub. We had the waffle fries with the Garlic Parmesan rub and they were great! See you there! :)

I went for lunch with a friend on a very cold Tuesday in January. I looked through the flip card…read moretable tent and noticed that the January special is Shrimp and Grits. It sounded hearty and perfect for a cold January day, so I ordered it. The Shrimp and Grits dish consists of shrimp and andouille sausage in a low country gravy over creamy grits. The dish was perfectly spiced--not too hot, just the right balance of heat and flavor. The shrimp were tender, and the smoky andouille sausage added just the right kick. Coupled with the Lowcountry gravy, the shrimp, andouille, and creamy grits came together beautifully, making this a deeply satisfying dish, full of Southern soul. I paired this with a cranberry and club--perfectly made, with the tart juice blending seamlessly with the soda. My friend had the Carolina Dog, at my recommendation (I've had this all-beef Old North State masterpiece here before) and thought it was delicious. My receipt said that Party was my server--maybe Patty, maybe Party--but all I know is that she was great. She was nice, friendly, a great conversationalist, attentive, and a pleasure. It was very cold outside, but our booth was very warm and comfortable. Every time I come, I notice something new--today it was the Chelsea banner on the ceiling. This is a great bar and grill with a warm, fitting atmosphere. Another very fine experience and yet another reason to return.

There were lots of dogs present in the covered outdoor seating, including one sitting at the table with its humans. I tried the Freedom Dip, which was really just a French Dip served with French Onion Soup instead of au jus. It came with a very generous serving of roast beef and was served warm with melted cheese. The sandwich was good, although I think the French Onion Soup really didn't go very well; serving it with au jus would have been a better fit. My dining companion tried the The Bogart, basically a marinated chicken breast sandwich. Like my sandwich, the serving size was very generous. She rated it as good but not exceptional. Both of us thought the house-made potato chips were good, but felt that some of the chips weren't thoroughly cooked. Our server was having a bad day and complained about the workload. She explained that if they had enough people working, she would have done a better job taking care of us. For what it is, My Way Tavern is good. If the service had been a bit better, it would have earned a 4-star review.

So I took one of the few seats left at the bar on a Tuesday night, and this really feels like the local neighborhood hang where people know each other. People of all kinds can feel welcome in there. They have drink specials every night, and I took advantage of several High Lifes. It was almost like I was living in the midwest again. I started with garlic parmesan wings. The menu said 6, but I got 8, all drums, which I had no problem with at all! Bleu cheese or ranch are added for free. One of the bigger wings had a little bit of pink though, that's not great. Then I had a Usinger's brat with peppers, onions on a toasted roll with a side of spicy mustard. Just 9 bucks. For my side, I got super thick onion rings with some horseradish sauce. Well worth the extra $2.75! The bartenders kept my water glass full. Even though the bar was quite packed, they seemed to do a very good job of keeping everything organized.
