The food was lacking on this visit. Three scared blueberries in my parfait . This is not the standard for what I'm used to. Parfait typically comes with strawberries and blueberries. If there are cut backs - customers should be notified. The biscuit I ordered was falling apart as if it was undercooked. The coffee was extremely too strong as if someone mistakenly used over the coffee limit. I was not satisfied with this visit. It will be a while before I ever return here. read more

I originally posted an amazing review. But now I give this place zero stars. I was coming here every day for six days a week, at least once a day. I would sometimes come by more than once a day. That's at least $20 a day, and around about $500 a month. I get disappointed if the fries are not all the way filled up. If I'm paying for a large, I should receive a large portion. I will send them back and ask for a fully filled fry. I will also send them back if they are over cooked and have too much oil and look brown and crunchy. I am disappointed that I was asked to go to a different location. It is this chick Fil a's responsibly to fill the fries all the way up, and give fresh fries. And to add, it was not every time that I asked for fresh fries. There are more times I did not request a remake than not. Especially since I've been eating at this location for over a year now. I have always been nice when I requested a remake, never rude. So to a different location I go and they will receive $500 plus a month from me. I am a signature member. Fill your fries all the way up, do not over soak them in the oil so that they are overly crunchy and brown, and do not put it on the customer for being the problem when you're in fact the problem. read more

There was a car in front of us and they were playing around with the workers. They both appeared to be high schoolers so I understand joking around on a Saturday night. But my bf and I were held back for a while and it was only our car and theirs. Two workers who were also teenagers took the cars order in front of us at the same time. And we had to wait. Not only that but some of the people even got out of the car and took their own order and were sitting on their window goofing off. So we had to wait over 10 minutes to get our order through. Then the car just sat there and the workers didn't even say anything about it. It was very unprofessional and working as at a fast food chain as a teenager is no excuse bc I wasn't like that when I worked at Taco Bell as a teenager. I LOVE chick fil a but for some reason this location always gets my order wrong... I even tend to repeat my order twice and make sure it's correct and somehow today they got it wrong again. I ordered a spicy crispy deluxe with pepper jack and I got a cold sandwich with American cheese or cheddar cheese or something. I know this is not my sandwich because it has someone else's name on it! Not sure what the negative reviews are about. They seem out of place. This location has consistently good, respectful customer service. Very clean. 97% of the time they get the order right. It does get crowded here, and the "merge lane" near the pickup window can back up, but the staff usually has a work-around plan that works well. read more

After 40 mins it tells us it's ready. To make a long story short - after waiting in line a hour for the food we ask an Asian lady in different clothes (not the same red clothing (and her name tag covered)) tells us that they close out the orders so that they can clear the board WITHOUT giving us our food and was very nasty about it as she said it. This was at 12:38 and said that people were still waiting for their food that had ordered at 10:30! That's ridiculous!!! As was her attitude about me even asking about the order ands why it was saying it was ready when it wasn't. Which was my right to do so. If the order isn't ready you shouldn't clear the board, move to the next or have a crappy attitude if someone ask about the food that OSS now a hour and 38 minutes late!!!!!!!!!! Super busy. Crazy crowded in the drive through and inside. We ate in. Staff were friendly and kept it moving. We were a group of 7 and 3 of our lunch orders were incomplete, as in missing sandwiches. Also we were all missing our drinks. They fixed the problems with pleasure after three different trips to the counter. Avoid this Chick-Fil-A during peak times. Robbed at Lake Boones location . April 5th 2024. Went through drive through. order taken 10 car lengths B4 menu board so I had to order what I knew only , SO much for extra sales. Ordered a Spicy Chicken sandwich with large waffle fries. Below you can see when I got back to my office the Large waffle fries. YES They are in there but far from a Large that I paid extra for. What was in there were like they were dipped in water before handing them to me. Soggy as soggy can be, Chicken sandwich ordered WITHOUT pickles. Well they must have though I needed to eat some pickles because they were stacked on my chicken thus staining my chicken and bun with pickle juice, Hey, They did get the Coke right. 1 out of 3 . Too bad an area like this does not have more choices so they could feel the dip in business and maybe then they would put out a Quality product like they used too. The McDonalds next door is closed while they build a new one. Perhaps that's why they could give a "S" less about what they throw out the drive-thru window at you. My husband orders through the drive through frequently and brings home our food. I order at several different cfa restaurants in the area and usually have a pretty consistent experience except for this one. I'm going to describe 2 experiences here with their mac n cheese. I ordered a couple weeks ago and my medium mac n cheese was half full in the container. I sent a message to customer service and the mgr called me back and rectified the situation. I then ordered a week later from a different cfa and the mac n cheese was full as it should be. So I go back to lake boone trail and order the family pack of 4 mac n cheeses, all came home half full. I call the mgr again and he said he'd address it but didnt offer any refund etc. I then proceed to another cfa today and it's full. At this point I've learned that the cfa at lake boone trail just skims. Bottom line, dont order the mac n cheese here unless you want to pay full price for 50% of your food. read more

Both times, super busy - which come to think of it, I've never been to a Chic-fil-A when they're not busy! :D But they're efficient, especially when they have the employees out in the drive-through line with their iPads (?) taking orders. My problematic fave. I truly despise that this chain supports and funds anti-LGBTQ groups. If you could get the questionable Christian/ Right Wing politics out of Chik-Fil-A this would be one of the best chains out there. Here's the thing though, if you're in a pinch they also provide one of the most consistent chain experiences. Their staff are always on the ball, and polite. The food is always up to standards and like I said, consistent. Recently my wife and I were going to a concert at the NCMA, which is close to this location and needed a quick and reliable place to eat. Sadly we caved and ate at Chik-fila-a which is something we rarely do. The good is great! I wish it wasn't. The staff was super polite as always. Yet them support of anti-LGBTQ groups means I rarely ever eat here. The food is great. The politics are bad. Problematic fave remains problematic. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a while but sadly it keeps on slipping my mind so here we go. This is legit the BEST Chick Fil A in the Triangle. They go above and beyond to keep the lines moving in the drive thru and the employees are always friendly and professional. I have always been impressed with their service and have never had a bad experience there. With that being said I have had MULTIPLE bad experiences at the Chick Fil A in Knightdale. The food and service at this restaurant was very good. For a fast food restaurant with rather small portions I think that the food is a bit overpriced but at least the chicken seems to be a good quality, tastes really good and it is not too greasy. Therefore, I am happy to pay a premium for it and the good service. The only reason why I give this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 is that I don't think that you should have your employees working in the heat (over 90 degrees) and in the pouring rain at the drive through line like that. I get the point that you want to create some sort of personal contact between your customers and employees but please give them also good working conditions. I felt really uncomfortable ordering as I felt pressured by letting the teenager wait in the sun to get my order. I think if you want to create that sort of personal contact you should create some sort of booth that gives the employee some sort of shelter and AC. Another small thing that I noticed is that it is probably better to specify that they should only fill the drink cup with half ice as my cup was 2/3 filled with ice and my drink was empty after a few sips. read more

I don't know if management changed in the past few months, but the last three times I've gone in the past month the drive thru has taken minimum 45 minutes to get through. I had to put my car in park for a solid 20 minutes at one point--both times were mobile orders. The one time I went in to pick up a mobile order, they got my order wrong (no drink) and took 15 minutes to get it to me despite there being at least 7 people working. It didn't look like anyone knew what they were supposed to be doing. Highly don't recommend this location until there's no management. read more

You should avoid this place especially at lunch. I cannot adequately explain how unorganized and chaotic this Chick-fil-A is. It's borderline unsafe. People block traffic and cut in line. They are totally unorganized in every way they deal with customers. They almost always forget part of your order. I'd like to reiterate that I do not consider It to be the fault of the employees and certainly don't want this to impact them negatively. They are so swamped with orders that it is impossible for them to keep up especially since they run two lanes in the drive through at the same time. Their system at the restaurant is just a total mess. I think the parking lot is actually kind of dangerous. People seem to frantically drive here. I would not recommend this unless you are not in a hurry, an expert driver, or not expecting your order to be correct. Again, not the fault of the employees.
