I tried this restaurant for the first time after seeing it on TikTok and craving some Korean food. Although the outside of the restaurant is a little questionable, the inside is very unique! Definitely a nice vibe. My server was very patient and friendly, also knowledgeable about the menu. I tried the beef bulgolgi and was blown away! Sooooo flavorful. I also had a kimchi pancake, whip was good but not my favorite thing. I ordered some Korean fried chicken to go and ate them later on for dinner. I immediately wanted to go get more lol. I'll definitely be back!

**Hidden Gem! As soon as you walk in you are greeted by truly genuine staff. There's table seating and very quirky couch seating as well. If you're looking to do group karaoke there's an entire area dedicated for it. But the real treat is the authentic Korean food. I had the small serving of beef Bulgogi which comes with rice, seasoned cucumbers and slaw. The beef had a teriyaki flavor. I also ordered a side of kimchi. I could have easily shared this with another person but I didn't and ate it ALL. It was delicious, well seasoned and the kimchi was a little spicy. The chef came out towards the end of my meal and asked everyone in the restaurant about their experience. 10/10 There's also a mini market where you can pick up Korean snacks!

My son and my 4 wonderful grandkids at lunch at Soo Cafe recently, the food was incredible tasty, the atmosphere was relaxing (big comfy living room couches, and the ambiance was welcoming like being relaxed at home.

Over cooked chicken wings. These too are bland

I want my money back! It took over 30 minutes. The spare ribs, I paid a lot of money for were tough. That's unexceptionable. The chicken wings were plain and bland. I wasted $70. That food was disgusting. I will never go there again.

Came in here for lunch with a group of coworkers the menu is very difficult to comprehend one of my co-workers ordered six chicken wings and a sweet tea and it came to $21 now I understand we're all dealing with inflation but this was just way too much money and when my coworker went to discuss it with the cashier he said oh I'm so sorry I forgot to tell you there was an up charge for the types of wings that you ordered but even still whatever the charge would have been $21 for six chicken wings it's just ridiculous

I was waiting outside for someone and saw this place. I called in to place a small order. The man who answered was sooo nice and cheerful. When I walked in it was very clean inside and I was greeted by the same nice, cheerful man who took my order. The food was fresh and hot and DELICIOUS!!! I was so happy I stopped by. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend!!

Went with a group of 15 for lunch. They were expecting us and were able to take our orders, serve us, and let us pay in one hour. Amazing for such a large group. The chicken tenders were delicious. Great crunch and a tad spicy. Kimchi was quite good. This is not a fancy place, but it was clean and the food was hot and tasty. I need to try something else to determine if this should be 5 stars, not 4, and plan to be back soon.

One of my favorite restaurants in the triangle! As a vegetarian, I always get the vegetarian hot bibimbap. My friends will always get one of their wings with varying sauces. Overall, the bibimbap I get does not look like anything special, but for some reason always tastes better than any other place I've had it. Only downside is that the dish and wings have definitely gotten smaller likely due to "shrinkflation" but I would say it is still worth it. The location is a strip mall in Raleigh. Looks empty from the outside but very spacious on the inside. Usually not too busy and the one person running it is always very friendly and helpful. If it is busy you may have to wait but I would say it is worth it. Prices are average and not too expensive. Overall, one of my favorites over the years and glad to see it is still open! Would recommend.

Prices are high for portions you get. The seafood pancake was almost $8 for a small size comparable to an eggo waffle. It tasted fresh though which was nice. The bibimbap was around $20 with spicy pork and a fried egg. I had requested a runny egg because that's superb with this dish but I think there was a language barrier between the server and I. The large Dokdo with two sauces will run you back $30 but was decent, you can find better KFC elsewhere in the triangle

We looked up this place when we were going to another restaurant that didn't open On Monday's. Menu is limited here but decent overall. Shortage of worker like everywhere you had to wait - there is just one waitress and she does check out as well. Bimbimbap was not as authentic- it came out on a cast iron skillet rather than the stone pot. Decent selection of veggies in the pot though. Most people are here for the wings. And yes the wings are good. Very flavorful and finger licking good. The way it was cooked locked in the juices so it is crispy outside and juicy in. Would definitely recommend the soga sauce. Mimicking the Bon Bon chicken flavor a bit.

I mostly came here to try the Korean fried chicken wings and I wasn't disappointed! The flavor of the sauce was unique and unlike anything I've ever had before. They were crispy too! The bulgogi was just okay - edible, but not great. And also came in a very small portion in my opinion. I'd still come here again to try some other menu items, specifically some kimchi since I didn't try any this time! Otherwise, the service was good and the inside was nice! It was pretty empty on a weekday for dinner. I hope more people can start coming

I was most excited about the duck egg rolls but ended up being my least favorite not because they were slightly on the dry side. Flavor was good, and the hoisin honey sauce really helped! The seafood dumplings were second best, stuffed full. The soup based was amazing and it also came with some bread for dipping in the leftover sauce. The pork and chive shumai were my favorite! A little bit bigger than bit sized but worth the mouth full! Absolutely would recommend. I'll 100% be back for more food. The bar side looked to be more casual, the dinning room was full of high tea attire so I did feel a little under dressed, thought it would be slightly more casual. They have the cutest library with free books to read but only while you dine in. The flower and book shop are in the middle of the space. Super cute, limited options but great for a last minute bouquet!

Obviously, this is our first time, but what we got was amazing. We each got one of the lunch specials. She got boneless wings with the seasoned fries, and I got the wings with the radish. She also ordered one of those Korean "corn dogs" with cinnamon sugar on it, and the Kewpie mayo. I wouldn't get the pickled radish again, it's not what I've eaten elsewhere, but who cares when the wings were so awesome.........amazing........I think young people say they are fire......and they were. The fries were crispy, the wings crispy and well-sauced.......................and I cannot wait to go again. To top it off, our server, Madden, was wonderful. Not named after those guys from the band, Good Charlotte, but after John Madden! The Ajisay is also good. But not something extraordinary though. The most disappointment is the love boat. The sashimi does not taste fresh at all. The texture of the tuna makes you feel that it has been in the fridge for few days. The same for the sushi. I thought they would have special fish but just regular tuna and salmon. We substituted the rolls and had to pay $5 extra. I think it is good decision because we enjoyed the Volcano. It is crunchy and abit spicy. We got to the restaurant a few minutes before our reservation and they were able to seat us closer to our reservation time. The menu is vast containing sushi and burgers, but you don't have to choose one or the other. I decided to combine both with The Cowfish Bento Box. This is a combo that features both a burger and sushi. Included in the box is a mini burger with American cheese, pickles, & chopped red onion, sweet potato fries, Thai cucumbers, edamame, and choice of a 4-piece sushi roll (California, Spicy Tuna, Vegetarian, or Philly Roll). I chose California. Not only do they offer all that, but they are really substitution friendly (some up-charges may apply). I swapped out the American cheese for smoked blue cheese. My husband ordered a bento box as well and swapped out the sweet potato fries for fried pickles. What a ton of food and I loved the variety! I also found this affordable for the quality and quantity given at $20. The place was extremely crowded so I highly recommend making a reservation and plan accordingly if you have something to do afterwards. It took about 30 minutes for us to get our food from the time we ordered to the time we received it. Service was good. Server checked in every few minutes to refill our drinks. I loved the design of the restaurant with eclectic fish and cow art everywhere. They had many tables inside and bar seating and outside tables on a dedicated patio. Outside the patio, they had a few lawn games such as corn hole. The restaurant is located in North Hills, so there's no dedicated parking lot. We found free parking in a parking garage. Cowfish was super family friendly with kids everywhere, but seriously this restaurant is so good for everyone.
