The food was pretty bad. I normally don't say that straight up but it's true. I ordered a quesadilla with lettuce mushrooms, beans and cheese, all that came was a tortilla shaped like a taco with mushrooms inside. No cheese and the lettuce was not inside, there were no beans. The service was bad. The waiter came back maybe 3 times and did not give us what we needed. The restaurant looks were nice and the bathrooms were so pretty. This place was rocking at 5:30 midweek. Service was decent. The chips were thick, so I was excited to plunge them into the salsa. The red sauce was think and weak. The white sauce was more to my liking. Both dishes ordered were somewhat bland. Was looking forward to the grilled onions on my chicken. Thete were not grilled long enough and had no taste. Good Mexican food at a reasonable price. They offer pick-up, delivery, and dine-in. I decided to order pick up online via ChowNow. It was easy to place an order and pick it up. They were busy when I arrived to retrieve my order, with a crowd gathering inside the entrance. I thought it would be time consuming to pick up my order, however, this was not the case. They are incredibly organized with multiple tables set up inside the door to separate call in orders, paid online orders, and delivery orders. Since I paid online, I walked in, picked up my order, checked it, and then walked out through the crowd of people. Our order was accurate. We ordered: - Camarones Yucatan ($13.99, good flavor, for the price I expected more food) - Steak BTO Primavera ($12.99, good portion and flavor) - Fried Ice Cream ($4.25, unlike typical fried ice cream but tasted okay) - Grilled Chicken Nachos ($8.99, good) -Medium chips ($3.50, ordered these since I did not realize the order came with chips and salsa, you get a good amount, they are fairly plain tasting) -Medium salsa ($2.00, you get a lot of salsa and is definitely worth the $2, the salsa lacks flavor, but does taste fresh) Due to their popularity, I would not feel comfortable dining in. If you need something fast and good, this is the place. The only thing off about the meal was the cheese sauce/dip was room temp and not even warm. It was good but I would have liked it heated up. Service is FAST! Impressive. Chicken in my meal was good. Meat was good but it was greasy which went through the bowl. Chips and salsa were good (hard to mess those up though, right?). Our server was attentive and good. When we walked in my child said it reminded them of Epcot, so I think that is a compliment to the theming of the restaurant. There are a lot of Mexican choices in the area and you wont be disappointed here. Summary- Fast service, good food. I was visiting someone in garner and got hungry, there were no much options around so I went to this place, someone told me in the past this place was good but I totally disagree, the tortilla chips and the salsa were the only thing that i liked, i had a quesadilla and hard shell taco but they were not good at all. I'd say this place is your average Mexican restaurant. Their chips and salsa they give you when you are seated isn't the best I've had. The chips tasted like they were deep fried in old oil. They weren't stale. Their salsa is also not the best I've had. More runny and not spicy at all not even a mild kick to it. I guess you can add in your own hot sauce there was a variety on the tables. My husband got the taco platter! Great deal! You get 6 different tacos fish, chorizo, carne Asada, al pastor, chicken and pork. The flavor on the fish and al pastor are amazing! It ends up being $2.33 per taco. They give you onions and cilantro to top it with limes and hot sauce. I can't remember what my dish was called. But it was shrimp and scallops over rice. And cheese sauce poured over it. It also came with 2 warm tortillas and lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, and tomatoes. The flavor was great! Everything was cooked perfectly. My only complaint was that it was watery! Their lettuce was soaked. And it ran into my rice. It wouldn't have been even better if there was not water soaking my food. I will be back. This has become me and my husbands go to. The food is good, the plates areplentiful and it's affordably prized. We've come here about 3 or 4 times now. I love the queso that comes with the tortillas, the enchiladas are good and are my usual go to. Last time I came, I had the mini taco platter and it was underwhelming. I think I'll stick to my usual. My husband is usually please when we come her too. Locationwise, there's plenty of parking, outdoor seating and plenty of seat inside. It has a nice ambience. We've bever had to wait to be seated even though there seems to be a consistent flow of people coming in, at least at the times we've come. There's not much in the immediate area around but I'm glad this is near us for a good and affordable mexican choice. read more

However this was the first time that we noticed that if you paid with your credit card/debit card you will be charged 3.2% on top of your already total bill. I asked if this was posted on the front door so that patriots could see before they came in? I was told no it was on your check after you had already ordered your food ate your food and your check has come to your table. So I felt like at this point, you're paying to enjoy your time with family. And you're paying the company to use their credit card machine! This is CRAZY. We moved to the South Raleigh/Garner area a couple years ago and were looking for a New Mexican restaurant. Fast forward a couple of trial and error later, this is the best we've found in the area for consistently good and strong margaritas. I mean, how else do you judge your Mexican restaurants? In all seriousness, the food is great too! Margaritas: they come in a bunch of different sizes/ flavors and you can get it frozen or over ice! I typically get the jumbo sized frozen lime margarita or split a monster with my husband. It's crazy good with a nice kick :) Food: the complimentary chips are good and come with a salsa and a white creamy sauce. I don't really like the white sauce but the salsa is good. I haven't had a bad meal, I typically get fajitas (they also offer lunch portions during dinner) and it's always delicious. The portion sizes are huge even the lunch portion but I love having leftovers. My favorite though is their HOUSE HOT SAUCE. Be sure to order that if you're a spicy fan because it's super spicy but super addicting. Service: great, no complaints. Sometimes there can be a wait when it's busy but it's never been longer than 20 minutes typically. read more

Have been pretty satisfied with Fiesta Mexicana Garner since moving out this way. It is our go-to for fast service, and cheap large portions. Being from California, I am pretty particular about where I eat Mexican food. Fiesta Mexicana hits the mark with their enchiladas and their tacos. Foods that are not on my list to eat here are the "tamals" aka tamales as they simply don't taste authentic and lack an appropriate amount of filling. Excellent lunch specials starting around $6 and dinner starting around $8. You can't beat the price point. No matter how busy it is, fiesta has the food out within half an hour and keeps the chips and salsa full. Large drink cups mean you never wait long for refills and a full bar means the adults have drinks to please as well. The music is authentic and the people have amazing service. Fast mexican with charm. I had the chipotle chicken, spicy! Just the way I like it. Nice chips salsa and white dip. Food came out quickly and was hot. Plates nice and hot .. Prices are on the high average for Mexican. I did read in some reviews that the wait staff is pushy. I did not get that they are attentive, maybe a bit overbearing. I suspect they just like to keep a quick turnover. Not a place I would just sit and chat after a meal. Still good service. Parking can be a challenge on a prime evening. I would return for something else on the menu to see if it is as good as what I had. I bet it will be. Give them a try.. Yummy. read more

Food was decent, however each time I have been to this location, the service has been horrible - it doesn't matter where you sit, however if you sit at the bar, don't expect a bartender to be waiting to make a drink for you, and don't expect many of them to know how to make basic drinks. I had to interrupt 2 guys standing in the side room on their phones after 10 minutes to find someone to make a drink. It seems like they have plenty of staff however you see a lot of people just standing around, and no one comes around to ask if you want a refill or anything else. Not one waiter/bartender/waitress smiles when they take or deliver your order and act like the Customer's are inconveniencing them. So rude! read more

I have ordered hear many times as my wife likes the chicken soup and I like Chili Verde and also Tamales. The Chili Verde has been hit or miss, when it's fresh it's good but 2 out of the last 3 times the pork in the dinner has been dry and hard like it has sat and then re-warmed.
