Waiter didn't offer water. Maybe because of the water shortage, they don't automatically bring water to the table? Salsa was runny, so runny couldn't put on the chips. Salsa was pretty much just soup,strawberry/kiwi margarita just okay. Entree I had steak bowl, steak tough as my leather purse that I was carrying. Never going back and will tell my friends not to go to this place. read more

Stopped in for lunch with the husband , nice atmosphere, clean with friendly staff. Seated right away and drink order taken. Chips and salads were good, guac was okay and I was really disappointed in the taste and texture of everything else. I ordered a taco salad with ground beef (not exciting ... I know) and the beans and meat were like a soup slop in the shell and pretty flavorless. The husband got a chimichanga with beers and rice and said it was pretty bland. I'd stop by for chips and a margarita , but not sure about the rest of the food. read more

I came here with my man and my sister a while back. The cheese dip was good but my sister and I ordered beef taco salad and the beef was nasty and mushy. My man said his shrimp was overcooked he got the shrimp cheese and rice and the barely put cheese on it. Not only that but the waitress was flirting with my man the whole time and even went as far as holding the cheese dip bowl in his face asking if he wanted to lick it clean. Sooo weirdo alert ig and usually I laugh at those things but the cheese dip thing was too far read more

These tacos were so good I ended up ordering more. The balance of flavor was perfect. The lime and cilantro gave it a fresh pop. It's a solid place for a quick taco fix. read more

The service was good the food was very good the ambience was great the prices were good

Let me tell you about it What an awful place Hot as can be. Had to be 87 degrees in there. It took 30 minutes to even get a drink menu. Then another 30 to get drinks then another 30 to order food. Then another 30 for the food to come. The only time they were quick was when it was time for them to get payed. Food wasn't good either. read more

This was absolutely awful. It took forever just to get water. Had to ask twice. I ordered nachos, and they were such a sad pile of food I sent them back and told them take it off my bill. There were hardly any chips, the meat was cold, and there was a huge pile or lettuce to cover it all. I won't ever step foot in here again. read more

This is a good place to go for take out if you only have 30mins to 1hr lunch break. The speed is great and my favorite to order is either the steak la paz or nachos with the shrimp. I haven't had the chance to dine in yet, but the service I received over the phone and when I come in is great! read more

I was so disappointed! I ordered a taco salad it was mostly brands and made very sloppy! I've eaten here many times a, but this was absolutely tasteless ! Yea want be eating there any times soon! read more

Giving 5 stars to boost the ratings. Had lunch and it was delicious. Service was good too. I had the pollo relleno. If you're looking for something on the lighter side this is a must. Lots of grilled veggies and spinach. I already started eating but you can see how good it was. I had the sauce on the side just in case it was spicy but it wasn't. Will come back again! read more

The food was ok, the service was not great, and the bill was a surprise. We were charged a fee for "customer service ", just under $3. When we went to pay, I asked about the fee and the cashier said due to credit card fees. The charge was on the bill when he brought it to the table. Seemed a bit presumptive but ok we rolled with it. THEN they automatically charged us a 20% tip. When I asked the cashier, she said they automatically charge 20% for a large party. There were TWO of us, I told her that. She then said at a certain amount of the bill they will automatically charge 20%. I believe in tipping well and it seemed presumptive yet again for them to assume we were ok with it. I thought it was a rip off, we just went out for a nice meal and got slammed with extra costs. Nope, not going back there. read more

San Jose was en point tonight! Hubby had Steak Burrito Fajitas and I had a shrimp quesadilla. Both were chock full of steak and shrimp, and both were delicious. Service was excellent in the bar, a perfect date night! Thank you San Jose! read more

This place came to the rescue when birthday dinner plans fell through elsewhere. We were quickly seated, the staff was super accommodating and kind. They let us put an ice cream cake in the freezer, prepped it with lit candles, and even all sang happy birthday to my husband when the time came for dessert. Great food/portions, prices, service and vibes! We will definitely be back :) read more

Horrible. Asked for 2 strawberry mango margaritas on the special board which listed for $5 each and instead paid $15 each. The excuse that they came up with was that we had to ask for the special size that they paired that deal to. This was not written anywhere in the special board. Service was polite and very fast! Food was really good and decent size portions. Loved the atmosphere and felt like it was clean.

I've only been here a couple times and the service is consistently slow and inattentive. The reason I came back is because it's convenient but the food is just okay. I visited yesterday and got food poisoning from a chicken fajita quesadilla. Needless to say, I will not be back. read more

Just don't. Seriously, just... do... not. We ordered takeout from here to try the food, a hectic busy day and I just did not feel like cooking for our family. I ordered 5 plates and only received 3. Didn't realize this until I got home. Also noticed the sides (rice, beans, crema salad) was not with the entrees... it was just the entrees... also ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was actually steak. They had also forgot a kids drink that comes with the kids meal, but I noticed that before I left. My husband returned back to the store (20 minute roundtrip) and was offered two free cheese dips... well, I ordered a large cheese dip so yeah no I don't need more queso... anyways, the manager had a waitress bring the food back up after declining the cheese dip. Why did he not come back himself and sincerely apologize or offer possibly a gift card or refund from my original order? I'm not looking for anything free but the service and responsibility is completely lacking. I don't care how good the food is, which I know it isn't no 5stars, but no food is worth the headache this place gave. read more

i've been coming here for years but the workers are just not fast enough. it took them very long to give the bill

Have eaten at the Raleigh store and the food was excellent. Live much closer to the Zebulon store so tried the same menu items. Enchiladas were dry very little sauce and cheese wasn't melted at all. Service staff was great but the food is lacking way behind the sister shop in Raleigh. Won't be returning. read more

We use to enjoy going to eat here, but NOT anymore. The service has gotten terrible and in consistent and Well being charged a "convenience fee" of $2.50 to pay our bill of $48.00+ just adds to it! How was the service? Uh, well he only came back 1 time to check on us. The next time we saw him, was when we paid our bill. When I asked about the charge, he was rude and got frustrated with me because I didn't understand what he said. I asked to speak to the owner, he said he's on break! Well how convenient & This is the end of my rant for now! read more

Decided to go eat with my mom,my brother, and my boyfriend last night.... big mistake! They were maybe 5 other booths occupied by people in the restaurant at the time and yet they took 15 minutes to get our drinks, our chips, and our queso, And then an additional 30 minutes to get our food! we asked our server to get us napkins, salsa, straws, refills and our correct sides (we ordered quite simple stuff) MORE than 5 times . After forcing ourselves to eat they gave us the bill and they had charged us for MULTIPLE extra things so we asked to talk to the manager and he waved us off and snatched the receipt and went and took it off after huffing and puffing. We will not be coming back here... read more

Good food but a little pricy, other than that the ambiance is wonderful and I recommend trying their margaritas.

The food is great but under no circumstances should anyone be paying $16 for a single shot Jose Cuervo margarita. Swear. That is exactly what they charged for 1 basic margarita. It was more expensive than my dinner. read more

Placed a carry out order on 01/19. Ordered two combos and a an appetizer order of wings. Did not receive my sides for my combos. I politely called the restaurant and let them know my sides were missing and was hung up on twice. Poor customer service. Food is very mediocre and lacking seasoning! Only giving 2 stars because I actually received more wings than the menu stated. Such a waste of money. The taco trucks in the area are better and non Americanized! read more

Tried this restaurant because it came up as "best Mexican food" near me....Not hardly, the service was SLOW and sporadic and when the food came it wasn't great. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Zebulon. The staff is always courteous and the food is great.

Very dissatisfied. Ordered shrimp chimichangas only to discover after two bites that they tried to pass fake/imitation "crab" for shrimp. Rice was bland and beans were definitely from a can. I do not ecommend this place. read more

We have been looking for a quality Mexican Restaurant and we FINALLY found a great one. From the outside you may not think much of this restaurant but you'd be wrong. Service was excellent, food was tasty without being spicy and the portions were the most I've ever had at a Mexican Restaurant. Even the chips and salsa was very good, i.e. good thickness and not overly spicy. read more

Food was decent, service was awful! Server took our order, brought our food and never returned til we stopped him for our check! Been living in Zebulon for over a year now and I have been to this establishment maybe 6 times. Each and every time the service is miserable to nonexistant. The wait staff does not seem to care whatsoever about guests that don't speak Spanish. Getting a beer is hard and getting someone to take your order or bring you guacamole or queso before your food seems impossible. The salsa tastes like marinara. If you really want Mexican food and nowhere else is convenient maybe try your luck and hope you get a better server than I ever get. read more

Man this place is solid. They stay packed on Sundays with the church crowd. Really good nachos. Great service. Nice folks.

Would give it no stars if allowed. Went tonight and was embarrassed in front of my kids by the Management over a Groupon that was still valid but they refused to honor. They claimed they haven't honored them since February. Redeemed one 3 weeks ago and showed the redeemed voucher to prove it. Person who redeemed it, Juan, came to the table and lied to my face saying he didn't do it. The Asst Manager claims she would have had to pay out of her pocket if she honored. I felt bad for her. It's always been great food, but the same waiter that lied to me tonight, has always treated us extremely poorly. Rude, even. Their younger servers are super nice. I'm a local resident and was a steady customer, probably twice a month, but after tonight, this place is out for me. I will never go back and will take my business elsewhere. What a shame the way this place is run. read more
