So good had to come twice while on my short trip to Houston. Great mix of traditional drinks (cortados etc) and fancier drinks (breezy brew). If I lived in the area, I could definitely see myself coming often and working from here.

Love this location a little away from our home tucked into a strip center. This place had delicious smells of coffee as soon as you walked in the door . Tables had various board games on them such as chess Simpson edition, UNO and checkers for the littles. They even have wine and beer for the Bigs. Customer service was so friendly as we ordered some takeout wraps and were out quickly. They even have a walk up window and saw they giving pup cups for someone's furrbaby. Careful you don't miss it since only 1 entrance/ exit . Note: it is at the end of a small strip area so signage wasn't at end of street. Definately worth a return visit!

Breakfast bagel
Daryl K.

Came across this recently when just searching coffee places around the area so finally made it in. Was wanting the breakfast bagel, so that was the reason for the visit, more so than coffee. Butttt, it's a cute place to grab a coffee or drink and chill. They serve beer and wine also which I did not know. The bagel was delicious, definitely recommend and the coffee was good too. I'll definitely be back since it's in the area, chill vibe! For anyone working, they have little almost one seater type work stations which were all taken up, so great place to work and have your coffee.

Ube Vanilla Latte
Jessica M.

Wow. It's affordable, high quality and a cozy feel. I accidentally forgot to say I wanted my latte iced. I asked for a cup of ice and they insisted to remake it so that the texture was consistent. The breakfast tacos are $3.50!! I ordered an ube latte on their curated latte menu

Avocado mash!

A go-to of mine when I'm in Houston, partially because it's convenient to where I stay and mostly because it's good and consistently good. They have a full coffee menu from basic drip to all the fancy things (+seasonal items), and good, quick breakfast. I like the tacos and salmon bagel a lot. They serve wine but I've never been here for anything other than coffee and breakfast items. The decor and atmosphere are adorable with tons of art and cool knick-knacks of slow paced animals... the sloth, snail, and turtle. The print of the sloth pole dancing is one of my favorites! There's a mixture of people in and out and some who are camped for several hours to work. They have board games for the kiddos (and adults, too) and a cute little vintage ride-on turtle for small ones. The staff at the register is happy to convert your dollar into quarters.

first time at this location. the lemon bar and the drink were tasty. the service was friendly and fast. the ambiance was a chill study vibe. however parking was hard to find as the parking lot was very small.

Cute little coffee shop cafe style serving a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages along with savory small bites whether it be breakfast or brunch there's something there for everyone! It's a cute breakfast spot if you're wanting good coffee and savory small bites for breakfast! Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the spring branch area.

Iced oat milk latte and bagel sandwich with smoked salmon
Elizabeth S.

Definitely a good, chill neighborhood coffee shop. I got a bagel sandwich with lox and it was pretty good! Not the best I've ever had but very solid. The poor store had been broken into the morning I went, but the staff were still attentive and in a positive mood. My coffee drink was good and it was great vibes to read alone and enjoy my brunch. I haven't been at the bar at night but the bar area looked cool!

This was such a nice environment, it took us coming inside to catch on to their theme which was so cute and unique. My boyfriend and I played a game of chess and enjoyed the drinks, the reese's latte was my favorite. The person taking our order was helpful with the menu and was cracking jokes with us which was nice!

Brandie A.

Adorable place but 2/3 of the patrons were working independently so every table was full and there was nowhere to sit.

Great chat with Phil about Fleetwood Mac today after work. I got destroyed here in chess last summer by some of the master chess players at Poison Pawns chess club, which had met at this location at 6PM on Wednesdays for years. Love this coffee chain, better than Summer Moon. More comfortable, too.

They also have a spacious parking lot, which was convenient. Since I had my dog with me, I stepped inside briefly to confirm that the patio was open before settling in. I greeted the young woman at the counter and asked if patio seating was available. She responded, "Yes, because dogs are not allowed inside." That felt unnecessary. I was clearly asking about the patio for that exact reason. I was not attempting to sit indoors, and I understand health regulations. She then added that the Houston Health Department could walk in at any moment. Again, I was not trying to dine inside. I simply wanted to confirm patio access so I could enjoy a coffee outside. I asked if someone would be outside to take my order. She said no. So I asked if she could take my order right then so I could immediately head out to the patio. She agreed, but her tone and demeanor felt dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable. At that point, I decided to leave. If the patio is dog friendly, there should be a smoother process for solo customers with pets. A simple, "Yes, the patio is open. Let me take your order now so you can head outside," would have made this quick and easy. Advisory: If you are visiting with a dog, I would recommend bringing another person with you. If you are alone, the ordering process may be awkward, as you cannot remain inside with your dog while placing your order. I would have happily spent money here, but the service made the visit feel more procedural than welcoming.

This is where the greatness ends. Almond croissant was 3 stars. It's open faced with the almond paste dolloped on top in the middle, and then it's drowned in powdered sugar. No. Ordered a matcha separately after looking over the menu...requested to be made with oat milk and added vanilla syrup. Total for the drink alone was over $9 with the substitution/addition and it came in an Itty bitty tall size (Starbucks reference) cup. Bland, slightly gritty, nah. I am not a matcha purist, but I prefer it over coffee, and I got excited for vanilla flavor (basic, I know) only to be rewarded with nothing. Not sure if I would return to try other baked items. Stopped by because I thought there would be more kolache options but there was only one, which had pork (bacon) in it. Sigh.

Step inside and you'll find a wonderfully mixed crowd: tech people typing furiously, students contemplating existential dread over a flat white, fashion-forward creatives in boots so white they defy known urban physics -- and yes, that includes me. One corner of the room is charmingly not quite tidy, as if the café itself were whispering: "Relax. Real life happens here." Industrial ducts snake overhead, large windows flood the space with natural light, and sociability seems to circulate as freely as the air. Now, the coffee: a revelation. The espresso is concentrated civilization -- exactly as it should be -- and the cappuccino is an elegant balance of foam and depth, not one of those half-liter dairy-fatigue exercises from anonymous multi-national chains-that-shall-not-be-named. The staff? Friendly, knowledgeable, and disarmingly competent -- the sort of people who know precisely why this bean tastes like citrus and chocolate instead of simply shrugging at the universe. In sum: Tenfold isn't just a café; it's a microcosm of a city that thrives on difference. A place where everyone, no matter their background, finds caffeine, community, and a seat at the table. For all of that -- the atmosphere, the humanity, the coffee artistry -- five stars, unequivocally.

I believe the first time I came here. I had some breakfast tacos and an iced latte which I did really enjoy. Today I went, and I had a chorizo empanada, a Horchata doughnut, and the Neapolitan latte. The empanada was nice and hot, I do wish it was a little more flavorful but next time I'll probably just add some hot sauce or something. The inside looks really cozy however I didn't stay and eat there since I had my pets in the car. The Horchata doughnut was interesting, was not what I was expecting, but didn't hate it. The Neapolitan latte taste like dessert, was definitely on the sweeter side which the cashier had warned me of. But overall, I really enjoyed it. The nuttiness of the sesame goes SOOO well with the espresso taste and it's a good creaminess too. I also like the texture of the bits of sesame seeds in the drink. The aesthetic of the cafe is modern with street-style flairs, it's a really cool space. I also love that there are Filipino flavors on the menu like ube and pandan. Most workers are super nice and say your name like they know you. They're also super attentive to ensure that everything with your order is perfect. Jonah was very welcoming and helpful, making sure we got a menu while in line! The weekdays seem to be better for wait-time, with little to no wait. The weekends however are packed and usually have lines. If you're not a line person, I would definitely come on a weekday. You can tell they care about quality, and I absolutely understand why this place stays busy. That being said, the wait time was very long. I waited about 30 minutes from the time I ordered to actually receiving my coffee, and this was on a Wednesday around 10 a.m. I'm not sure if that's their normal flow, but it was packed. Thankfully I didn't have anywhere to be, because if you're stopping in before work or during a tight schedule, definitely plan ahead and expect a wait. The only real downside for me was the timing and ordering process. Spending close to $10 on one coffee plus waiting that long makes this feel more like an occasional treat rather than an everyday coffee run. I'll admit I may have been a little cranky from the wait, but I do think it's fair feedback. Overall though, my coffee was delicious, and because of that, I would absolutely give them another chance. Good things take time, I guess.

The place has a no frills coffee shop vibe that feels relaxed and focused on good coffee without trying too hard. They offer a wide variety of drinks and the visuals and descriptions make it easy to see exactly what you are getting and how each drink is made. My friends grabbed a few pastries and absolutely devoured them, so I guess I need to try the food options next time. Everything just feels straightforward and easy, which is part of why I keep coming back. I always catch myself eyeing the bags of coffee on the way in. They make great gifts or a nice at home treat, especially this time of year. Honestly, I should have grabbed one on the way out but I got distratced by conversation.

My beloved Boomtown RIP…read more This pains me to write. Different is certainly not always better, especially when what you had was already working. I much prefer the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. To the people who bought this place, I know your motto is "different is better," but please stop taking that so literally. You do not have to change every aspect of this place to make it different. The best thing about getting your everyday local coffee is seeing the same baristas you've seen over and over again, familiar faces who know you by name. This was one of those places where I'd hate to admit how much money I've spent here, and I did it happily. In just three weeks, our beloved spot, one I would willingly drive out of my way for, has gone so far downhill that I barely recognize it. From the eyesore taco warmer that practically knocks you in the face while you're ordering, replacing a space that once showcased lovely things like fresh flowers and local trinkets, to the disappearance of the wonderful local treats from Sinfull Bakery that kids genuinely enjoyed. At first I thought maybe you were just out, but after three weeks it became clear that expenses were being cut across the board and those items may never come back. And where do I even begin. The new oat milk is terrible. It completely changes the look and taste of the coffee and is immediately noticeable. I won't harp on the change of hours or the change in flavor of your coffee beans, but I feel it must be mentioned because, well, it's noticeable. And now the cleanliness. Spilled taco sauce all over the floor, and when your kid points it out, you know you're in trouble at that point. Dishes piled so high they're overflowing, dirty restrooms. And to be clear, this isn't the staff's fault, there is simply not enough staff to keep up with these things. Never ever in seven years of being a frequent visitor has it been this bad. I also noticed the new coffee packaging, and it's just another reminder that the heart and thoughtfulness that once defined this place are gone. At this rate I half expect robots handing me my latte in a few weeks so you can save a few more bucks. And getting rid of Toast. Even if Toast was an expensive platform to use, it was legitimately so convenient. And dang, if you're going to do away with it, don't replace it with the worst possible ordering system ever, one that doesn't even work. Do you know how many orders I wouldn't have placed if it weren't for Toast? Toast made those orders possible when I didn't have time to wait. Without it, I simply wouldn't have ordered. I understand times are tough for many businesses, but you all were booming. The new online ordering system doesn't work. You may as well do away with it altogether because this one just isn't it. Honestly, I am devastated. You knocked it out of the park in every area, cleanliness, service, food. I never had a single bad item on the menu. The coffee was beyond. When my family moved out of the city a year and a half ago, I still drove 35 minutes one way just to get your food and coffee, over an hour round trip again and again. I don't think you understand how this new direction has driven this place into the ground in a matter of three weeks. Sadly all good things must come to an end.
