    Breakfast Burrito

Came here for breakfast on Thanksgiving day. This was one of the few places open and had good reviews. Server helped us get a table immediately. Food came out fairly quickly. I got the breakfast burrito which comes with rice and beans. Kids got the Nutella & strawberry crepe and wife got the Santa Fe omelette. The portion sizes were generous. Everything tasted good and the service was friendly. Overall had a good experience.

A great diner style restaurant with a big selection menu. Plenty of seating and by the looks of the line this restaurant is popular! Staff was friendly and everyone moved quickly to serve. Food was delicious and homemade tasting.

Be prepared to wait but it will be worth it! Busy restaurant even in the morning. Loooooooooove Frankenmary it was a meal onto itself. Nice, spicy, and boozy! Love the shrimp and the burgers it came with. Boyfriend for the breakfast burrito he loved it too. You know the food is good when there's so many people. Great value and good place to stop before going to slab city or salvation mountain. Service was super nice. You can tell this restaurant is a community staples. Everyone was happy and it was good vibe. Interior and restroom were clean. Lots of parking outside

I came here with a friend and enjoyed! The service is top notch and they keep the hot, fresh coffee flowing! I really enjoyed that perk since a lot of breakfast spots that serve coffee don't refill or offer coffee as consistently and frequently as Sloan's. They also scored high with their food. It was served hot and fresh and seemed to be made to order which was great! I ordered a skillet which had bacon, ham and sausage. The skillet was filling and delicious. The ambience was decent and was like a typical casual style restaurant. Hopefully I can get back to Sloan's soon! Love that coffee!!

I've been on a bit of a diner kick lately and decided to stop in to Sloans for an early breakfast. Typical diner vibes. It's cozy, dated yet welcoming. Located in the city of Indio, it's not hard to miss off of the busy highway 111 strip. We were seated right away and service was friendly and attentive. The staff seemed to share the responsibilities well as everyone was helping to keep glasses filled, tables cleared and our food came out reasonably quick despite the restaurant being busy. Prices are comparable to any chain diner type spot. The menu was large so there are plenty of options to pick from. They also had weekly specials and happy hour prices if you are looking for some deals. They have a full bar. I'd say the food was somewhere about a 3.5 out of 5. Run of the mill, okay breakfast options. The German pancakes were pretty good. Not the best in the desert but the spot we usually go is across town, so definitely was happy to find a good German pancake closer to home. Skip the eggs Benedict. While the concept of the Baja Benedict was good in theory, they couldn't execute the basics. The eggs were lukewarm and the English muffin was raw/almost no warmth to it. Wouldn't get again. Some missed here and that's just the way it goes. Keeping the service in mind and enjoying the overall comfortable atmosphere of the spot, bumping up to a 4/5 stars.

Came this local little family breakfast spot along join some peaceful time in the desert. Just a heads up it does get busy on a Sunday morning as the usual for breakfast spots that are good. After about a 20 minute wait so we got our table we seated fast and our waitress was prompt to take our order and get us drinks to our table. Now onto the food. This is some good old American old-fashioned diner/restaurant quality food .. the omelettes were big and tasty, and there was a slight egg surcharge added to each one of these, which I guess is par for the course nowadays but I wish the restaurant would absorb some of these costs. The farmers omelette was a mix of all three meat, bacon, sausage, and ham. This thing was delicious and Phil and the hashbrowns were extra crispy which I love. My wife got the veggie omelette and she said that was pretty good also which came at Home style potatoes which were crispy crunchy and also delicious. The pancakes at this place were great too slightly yellow and color tasted like buttermilk, soft, fluffy and warm. Loved these things also. Great little breakfast spot reasonable pricing good service. What more can you ask for on a Sunday morning go give it a shot. It's worth it.

I never leave reviews but this might be the best diner I have ever been to in my entire life. My friend and I split the German Pancake and devoured it in a few minutes. I am a few bites intomy Chicken Fried Steak and had to leave a review. The service is extremely nice as well. Best brunch ever after the perfect Coachella weekend.

Was in town with friends and came here for breakfast and we all really enjoyed the food. It's definitely a locals diner/restaurant vibe and despite being packed at 11am, they seated us right away. The food service was a bit slow but they were attentive and the portions were large which we appreciated as the price was a little steep. I got the gravy and sausage eggs Benedict and loved it. It was more so a biscuit, sausage and gravy muffin with the egg on top but it was so good. The gravy and what seemed like homemade biscuits were delish. By far one of my fav breakfasts I've ever had. My friends tried the crepes, chilaquiles and scramble and all really liked it. I also got the smaller Bloody Mary which was pretty cheap and decent. It was a good experience and I'll def be back when I'm in town!

The Low Carb grill was wonderful. The bacon was delicious. OTOH the chicken fried steak wasn't wonderful. The steak was overcooked to the point of being tough. My eggs were cooked wrong and the toast lacked butter. The service was excellent. A woman fell on the floor walking in because of a loose mat. Luckily she was okay. The interior is homey

We grabbed a round of burgers and split some fries, and everything came out fast and hot. Burgers: 10/10. This is what they're known for, and for good reason. So if you know about this place, you have to place your order outside of a window. In 100+ degree weather it gets HOT!! and FAST!!! Well, we were left outside in direct heat waiting for the cashier to come out and greet us, this was myself, my elderly 75 year-old mother (as seen in the video) as well as my 14-year-old Nephew. You have to push a doorbell type button to gain the staff's attention, totally cool with that, but when you leave people waiting in 100+ degree weather for 5 to 10 minutes with no shade and no misting system, that could become a problem. So the cashier finally comes out this morning and she greets me and she says it'll just be a couple more minutes before I come out to take your order. I said OK, that's fine, but can you please call me to the window? I said because it's extremely hot and I'm sweating and I don't wanna wait in direct sunlight. She said absolutely, that's not a problem. So she goes back to do whatever she goes to do. About four minutes later she proceeds to give an order to another customer that was waiting in the heat as well, then she calls me to the window. I get to the window and someone proceeds to gain her attention inside of the kitchen, so rather than ask me to hold or tell me that she just needed a minute, she proceeded to slam the window in my face and goes to talk to her coworker about who knows what. What she should've done was told her coworker, hey, I'm with a customer right now, let me get back to you as soon as I take his order, but she didn't do that. She proceeded to make her coworker her priority, not the person that was going to place a $100 order for a group of people celebrating Mother's Day. So she gets back to the window and I proceeded to tell her off. I told her exactly how I feel because at this point I think service in this country has gotten bad with this new generation. She looked like she was in her early 20s, I myself for context am not. So she says I'm ready to take your order and I said, you really just slammed the door in my face, didn't you? She was just stunned that I said something, that I actually had a voice. I said no, I'm not gonna place an order with you, you lost an order because you left me out here in 100+ degree weather. I said I should've been the priority, and I was a little upset because I did drop a couple F bombs (which I regret) but only because I was hot and I was sweating and I was frustrated and I was just angry that this new generation has no concept on how to treat paying customers, especially rational customers, with better service. Now they weren't slammed, aside from the other customer that got to receive his order, no one else was waiting for an order, so it's not like she was super busy. That's what really bothers me, I should've been the priority with my family, but yet she chose to leave us in the heat. I told her, if the roles were reversed and you were outside here waiting in this heat and I was taking your order and I did that to you, you would be extremely upset. She was puzzled and didn't say much. I think she was just stunned that I said something, but I wanted it to be known that whoever is the owner of this place needs to have a serious talk with their employees about proper protocol when waiting to place or receive an order in 100° weather with absolutely no shade or water misters. I really think you guys need to do better. My family and I walked away and proceeded to go grab iced coffee at Everbloom Coffee across the street where we were treated like kings and queens. You don't leave an elderly woman waiting in 100° weather, they could die of heat stroke, DO BETTER, Papa Head!

They also have a full bar now, so there are many more options for libations while you eat. We arrived right on time for our 6PM reservation and we were seated at the outdoor table we pined for. The weather and the setting definitely started this dinner with a positive outlook. We were a party of five, with three of us ordering different Taco alternatives. I requested the Shrimp, my wife asked for the Salmon and our daughter selected Filet Mignon. The flavor of all the Tacos was out of this world, as the ingredients and the sauces involved within those corn tortillas meshed together magically. I will say that paying $20 for two small tacos that weren't PACKED was a little bit of a RIP. The other two guests in our party went for two different types of Pizza. They both boxed a slice or two to take home. As sides, we had two orders of Truffle Fries and one of the Brussel Sprouts. Both were phenomenal but the veggies could have been more plentiful. To go with our dinners, my wife and I brought our own Meadowcroft GSM that generated two surprises for us. One was how great it accompanied what we ingested, the other was the $30 corkage on the bill. To round out the night out, my daughter shared a Sundae-Sundae with the other guests. Being able to get out to see new restaurants once a month is a gift, and most of what we experienced was a HUGE thumbs up. We just felt like what was provided in a casual setting was a little overpriced. This will not be on a future "to do" list.

Everything was cooked well, full of flavor, and definitely stood out compared to a lot of other places. It was good enough that we made a point to come back again during the same trip. If you're in the area and in the mood for a solid burger, this is a great spot to check out.
