Friendly servers with good recommendations at this spot. Had the tacos chilango today, and I'll definitely be back for them. Wings were good (smaller than other spots). Jamaica is made in house. Not a fan of spots that use powder to make their aguas. Super casual lunch spot that serves breakfast as well. They are playing the soccer matches right now and do have a bar area, but I'm not a drinker. read more

My wife and I have come here a handful of times and always love our experience. The food is always fresh, out quickly, and the service is excellent!! This place is always clean, full of light, and has a very enjoyable vibe to it. Music and tvs. Aguas frescas and coffee is wonderful. Flautas 10/10 Carne asada special 10/10' Carne asada nachos 10/10 Cheeseburger 10/10 Mozzarella sticks were an 8/10 Super friendly, nice gentlemen taking care of us. I go here ALL THE TIME it's that good. Not just the food but the staff is super nice every time we're there. We really like the breakfast burrito and the toasty ceviche but you can't go wrong with anything you get. They are always playing great music and they have a bunch of TVs for your sport of choice. All in all it's one of our favorite local spots. If you're in the area visiting or just wanted to check a new place out definitely add Victoria's to your must visit list! read more

It's difficult to find good Mexican food in the Seattle area so whenever I'm down in the desert I always seek out highly rated Mexican restaurants. I saw that this place had 4.5 stars on Yelp and it did not disappoint. My wife and I went in for dinner. I ordered Nelly's Special and my wife had Camarones Victoria, both of which were outstanding and I would order again. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was excellent. Victoria's has been open for 5 months now in a space that used to be a little Mexican place where you ordered at the counter. Victoria's is completely new, cute and clean inside, with table service. Service, food, atmosphere on a warm morning was enjoyable. i could imagine watching ball games , hanging out and spending a few hours We had coffees, huevos rancheros, chorizo with eggs and a couple large horchatas to go and the bill was around $65 but the gentleman server's personality and the homemade food was totally worth it. read more

This was a quaint little place in Indio. We found this place driving back from Arizona. I wanted to post this review as it was well deserving. It's locally owned and the quality of the food was great. Although it was busy the food didn't take too long. The service was good. My wife got a chicken soft taco and a birria quesadilla and loved it. I got huevos rancheros and I consider myself an expert :) the huevos rancheros were very good. And since we like spicy they gave us a spicy salsa on the side which was great. I hope this business thrives and keeps their quality. We would definitely come back here. Cheers read more

While visiting the tiny Indio Library, a lady gave us discount coupons to Victoria's so we ate lunch there. It's in a quaint part of old town that is being revitalized. The cafe was very nicely decorated and we were seated and treated expertly by the man in front. It was slow so he was alone but very attentive. The food choices were better than typical Mexican mom n pop cafes. We had two kids who ate from kids menu and I had the lunch 12 cachanilla flauta's. Like simple taquitos but plated with shredded cabbage and Mexican cheese and a tangy/slightly spicy sauce that made the dish delicious! My wife got breakfast which was served til 2pm. The staff was on there A game and knocked it out the park service was exceptional and the food came out nice and hot and delicious! I have no idea how this place has so many stars. It was the worst overpriced breakfast ever. The only good thing was the cafe de olla. Hash browns were overcooked and burnt. The steak was overcooked and dry. It was supposed to be medium but it was burnt. Pancakes were horrible. Dry and brittle. read more

I had a disappointing experience at Victoria's Café. The food was overpriced and the portions were small -- the soup barely had any meat in it. Drinks were also unreasonably expensive. When we politely raised our concerns, the server (Karen) responded with an attitude instead of addressing the issue professionally. Definitely not worth the price or the poor service. I won't be returning. just food poisoning as well from the menudo. read more

I thought we would try this place out since the reviews were pretty good. I ordered breakfast, chorizo with eggs, it was good, the chorizo had good flavor. I asked for no cheese on the beans, and I think the cook forgot because as I was eating, I noticed there were remnants of cheese in the beans, which was disappointing. The rice was not authentic Spanish rice, somewhat of an uncle Ben's type of rice, included were 2 very small flour tortillas. My sisters ordered the hamburgers, the patties were seasoned quite salty, to the point of being inedible. The fried zucchini were good, the coating was tasty and fries were just okay, as they were typical frozen French fries. I ordered a tamale to see how authentic it would taste, and it was a store brand tamale, like Del Real type, not home made as expected. The iced tea tasted like it was brewed from the coffee machine as it had a coffee aftertaste. Don't think I'll be making another trip there anytime soon. read more
