Cheese Charcuterie Appetizer
Anna S.

On a recent trip to California to visit family, my Aunt & I decided to explore Fantasy Springs Resort Hotel on a Sunday. We were in the mood for a lite bite to eat. We saw The Bistro advertised in the Hotel & decided to try it. We were greeted by a smiling hostess and were seated promptly. Given it was a Sunday evening, the place was relatively quiet. The dining area is elegant. Soft lighting and white tablecloth. There is a view of the kitchen. Our server was attentive but apparently her shift ended before we finished eating because Javier, took care of our table. My Aunt & I shared the Cheese & Charcuterie Appetizer along with a California Sushi Roll. I also enjoyed two glasses of Merlot. I was disappointed that Apple Pay is not accepted, however; our choice to eat at The Bistro proved to be the right one. It was a relaxing evening and the food was very tasty. We definitely will dine here again the next time I visit.

The Bistro is probably one of the places you should eat at while visiting the Fantasy Springs Casino. It opens at 5:00 p.m. and is occasionally very busy, therefore reservations are recommended. Since today is Thanksgiving, all of the tables have been reserved, but we were able to sit outside on the patio. Actually not bad for patio seating, although the wait time for food can be pretty considerable. Overall, my family and I enjoyed all of the food we ordered. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

24 oz Porterhouse steak with asparagus and four cheese agratin!!!

Went to this place for the first time and also for a family birthday celebration! And man was it and awesome place and they do have a dress code so you have to dress up nice and no hats in the restaurant! Our table was next to the wall of windows and it was very nice and relaxing and enjoyable! Our waiter was awesome and I think his name was Miguel and he's was very attentive to our party and always checked on our party and the service he provided was excellent and top notch! I ordered a fantasy springs margarita and man was it tasty highly recommend! For dinner I ordered a 24oz porterhouse steak with asparagus and four cheese agratin and all of it was amazing tasty and flavorful! I didn't think I would eat the whole thing as it was a lot of food but it was so delicious and tasty I ate everything! If you're ever in the area and looking for a nice relaxing and enjoyable steakhouse I highly recommend this place! But remember there's is a dress code so get dressed up and go have and amazing dinner and time with family, friends or even a date!!!

Their largest roll. Might've been called the Maki roll?

On the upper level above the casino within the Fantasy Springs Casino Resort. Free parking in the garage. There was a wait for the dining area around 7pm on a Friday night in Feb 2025, but you can sit at the bar or the sushi bar without waiting if there are open seats. Note if you sit at the sushi bar, you can only order their Japanese offerings. Bar seating you can order the whole menu. Upscale casual dimly lit atmosphere. Fast and friendly service! We got the poke tower and a roll (don't recall the name, but it was the biggest offering - 10 pieces). Good amount of food for two adults. Delicious! That plus 2 beers, tax, and tip was around $70. Not bad given today's pricing.

Wow! This place was amazing! The food was delicious! A little disappointed with the staff but the ambiance was amazing! Definitely a great place for date night.

We came here for dinner for the first time yesterday and I am still full! We had a wonderful meal. We were greeted warmly and quickly seated. Hannah , our server introduced herself . She told us about the specials and explained some of the dishes we had questions about. We had drinks and bread while perusing the menu. I enjoyed my lemon drop and my husband his bourbon. We ultimately decided to split a few things. Hannah asked the kitchen to divide the soup and salads so we weren't eating off the same plate. Everything was presented beautifully at the perfect temperature. We loved the crab Louie salad and my husband thought the onion soup was the best he's had. We ordered the crusted pork chop dinner to split and it was very tender and moist. Also a side of risotto . Which was great! Hannah did an amazing job with our meal. She was friendly and professional and we greatly enjoyed our time at the Bistro.

I have been following Chef Freddy on Facebook and his TV Recipe of the Week on KESQ-TV (Coachella News). I was looking forward to dining at the Bistro for nearly a year! APPETIZERS: classic Cesar Salad and I could not resist Chef Poke Tower, served with rice on the bottom layer topped with sliced avocado and diced seafood. ENTREES: we ordered the Boneless Beef Short Rib Bourguignon, it was so tender cooked in red wine, pearl onions, mushrooms, and carrots. Second entree was the Pan-seared Chilean Seabass, which was buttery, flakey and moist. We ate every morsel! If you like steak. seafood, or pasta, you will enjoy fine dining at this restaurant. The service was superb, our server was Fabian who checked on us during the evening, as well as the Manager. I have to mention another HIGHLIGHT of this evening, Chef Freddy came to our table and greeted us. He told us he oversees 6 restaurants, plus his TV show keeps him busy. I had no idea!! He recommended the Joy Asian Fushion restaurant, which we quickly made a reservation for the next day. It took nearly a month to get a reservation since they are very popular and open for dinner only. Make your holiday reservations now on the Open Table app and don't forget to tell 'em that Rosemary sent ya!

24 oz. Porterhouse fantastic

Saturday night on Labor Day weekend we showed up without a reservation at 5 and they gave us a table for two, so nice. Our server, Layla , was so sweet and accommodating. We had the best crab cake appetizer along with the t bone dinner. Both were so good. The tbone dinner was huge, I think 32 oz, and it came with two sides for $ 56 which is a great price considering places like Ruth Chris charge more than that just for the steak and no sides. It's big enough to share with some appetizers.

Ask the Community - The Bistro

Is this restaurant on the 1st floor of the casino? I know where Joy's is but I can't remember where this one's at.

The Bistro is located at the top of the escalator on the right just before Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. You can also get there by elevator.

It was pretty good though, and I like how they put the marinara sauce at the bottom For entrées we got the rotisserie chicken and the Latin surf and turf. The rotisserie chicken was cooked well and the steak was good. The lobster however, was Baja lobster and that is neither my preference for my husband's but we did eat it with the steak and it was fine. The mashed potatoes were good that came with the rotisserie chicken. The rice and beans that came with the steak and lobster were pretty good. For dessert we got the mango cheesecake and the apple pie à la mode. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed the exceptional service by the food runner and water refill guy ....didn't get his name. He was fairly new. Our server was fine as well. We didn't see him much we saw the guy serving the water and bread more and he took great care of us. The restaurant is really DARK inside. Our server, Joel, was very hospitable and attentive. We went on a Friday early evening. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Several patrons were at the bar as well as at several tables. My Aunt & I shared a leisurely meal which included three appetizers and a caesar salad. Our server informed us of the option to order a 1/2 portion of the salad. It was a good choice. All the appetizers were very tasty especially the three different sauces that accompanied the hot wings: Jalapeño bbq, Blue Cheese & Avocado Ranch. I highly recommend POM Restaurant and look forward to returning again.

There was a nice, upbeat vibe throughout my meal, and I was happy with the service as well. The only downside for me was the steak. I chose grilled onions, and they were served on top of the steak. I personally prefer eating steak plain or with just a bit of salt, so the grilled onion topping felt a bit overpowering. That said, it was my mistake since I didn't realize how it would be served. Aside from that, compared to Austin, the prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was great, and I would definitely come back.

Hubby ordered a steak with 2 sides and I had the marinated chicken breast with 2 sides. We had a very friendly & hard working server, Miguel, who checked on us often. I was able to take a photo of this shy young man & get his permission to post here. The food was so good & filling! We will definitely be back & be sure to ask for Miguel again. The atmosphere was lively & happy. The staff were genuinely hospitable and happy! It was a such fantastic vibe. We were able to speak with the very affable District Manager, Tony, and made sure we gave Miguel props. He told us they were building a Texas Roadhouse in Temecula! Yay! This was an impressive & great dining experience here for a first time visit. Thank you!

They also have a full bar now, so there are many more options for libations while you eat. We arrived right on time for our 6PM reservation and we were seated at the outdoor table we pined for. The weather and the setting definitely started this dinner with a positive outlook. We were a party of five, with three of us ordering different Taco alternatives. I requested the Shrimp, my wife asked for the Salmon and our daughter selected Filet Mignon. The flavor of all the Tacos was out of this world, as the ingredients and the sauces involved within those corn tortillas meshed together magically. I will say that paying $20 for two small tacos that weren't PACKED was a little bit of a RIP. The other two guests in our party went for two different types of Pizza. They both boxed a slice or two to take home. As sides, we had two orders of Truffle Fries and one of the Brussel Sprouts. Both were phenomenal but the veggies could have been more plentiful. To go with our dinners, my wife and I brought our own Meadowcroft GSM that generated two surprises for us. One was how great it accompanied what we ingested, the other was the $30 corkage on the bill. To round out the night out, my daughter shared a Sundae-Sundae with the other guests. Being able to get out to see new restaurants once a month is a gift, and most of what we experienced was a HUGE thumbs up. We just felt like what was provided in a casual setting was a little overpriced. This will not be on a future "to do" list.
