    Carson's ceviche
    Jasmine H.

Our server Gabriel was fantastic! He was super attentive and friendly, making sure our water was always filled and plates taken away as the table was a bit small. We ordered the las chorreadas, Carson's salmon ceviche, and the drunken shrimp. We were also offered a complimentary carrot soup and it was actually super tasty, creamy, and lightly spiced. The ceviche was my favorite dish of the meal. I personally love eating very sour ceviche but didn't mind that this one was only lightly sour. The fish itself was nicely cooked and paired super well with crackers. As for the shrimp and the tacos, the shrimp was a bit too sweet for my liking but the sauce itself went well with the rice. The tacos were a bit hard but the meat and the fries were good. Overall, decent meal!

First visit, as they just opened this week. This is a family-owned restaurant which focuses on seafood and steaks. They also happen to own Oceana in Palm Desert, Salsa's Restaurant in Cathedral City, and Crudo in downtown Palm Springs. This family really knows how to do food and service right, as all of these places are wonderful. Being the first week for this location, there were some minor hiccups, but I'm certain that they'll be worked out in no time. Oceana has a modern, sleek décor and ambience. We were immediately greeted and seated by the hostess (she saw us walking down the sidewalk and opened the door for us). Alex was our waiter, and the service was good, including the other members of the service team. DRINKS: We started with a couple cocktails, a Triple Peach Margarita, Spicy Pomegranate Margarita, and a Fresas con Crema Margarita ($14/ea.). Well-made cocktails, very refreshing, and at a reasonable price. They have a decent wine list, and every Tuesday it's 50% off bottles. FOOD: We started by sharing the Banana Peppers appetizer ($16), which was delicious, and the 5 large, crab stuffed peppers were enough for a small group. For our entrees, we tried the Ahi Steak ($26), the Chipotle Shrimp ($26), and the Asian Pasta ($32). We also added an order of the Garlic Bread ($9), which was large enough for 4-6 people to share. Everything was well-seasoned and tasty. The Ahi Steak and Chipotle Shrimp were served with rice and potatoes, which I thought was a little odd (2 starches). The Asian Pasta was loaded with seafood. We had wanted to order the Scallops, however they were out, so we'll have to check those out next time. To finish off the evening, we tried the Bananas Foster Cheesecake and the Coconut Flan ($11 ea.) Overall, this is an excellent seafood and steak restaurant with very good cuisine and service with a smile. They're only going to be getting better and better as time goes on. We'll definitely be back for more.

    Fresas con crema margarita. Delicious!

Fantastic new seafood restaurant in Rancho Mirage. Restaurant opened five days ago. Food is delicious but staff needs a little more training. Nothing major. The restaurant is beautiful. Very elegant. Service was good and drinks are excellent. Will definitely recommend.

Ate dinner here tonight because several friends and clients have recommended it to me. We live close by but never tried it. We came here on a whim and we LOVED it. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Alex was our server and even made some special cocktails for us that were amazing. We will definitely be back, also gonna try their Palm Desert location of the same name. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. The octopus was tender and flavorful, had it as both a starter and a main dish. We also had the Pork with Mole, AMAZING!! A must is to try their Flan, a great way to end the evening.

Arrived for an early birthday dinner & watched place fill up with nice diverse crowd/vibe. Service was excellent unobtrusively efficient & polite. Food was outstanding from simple Cesar salad to beautifully plated main courses of steak shrimp & chicken. A song & delicious chocolate cake for the birthday boy which was very sweet & delicious. *Don't forget the smashed garlic bread to soak up all the delicious sauce! **Open for lunch as well. Will be back.

This place was delicious, the food had so much flavor and their house made hot sauce was very tasty. The service was great as well, did not have to wait too long and the ambiance was very relaxing after a long day at work. Will definitely try again, I'm sure all the items on their menu are delicious.

This was what was left after I tried to eat their amazing chocolate cake for desert. It was huge and delectable.

I was told to try Oceana for lunch. It was fabulous. Huge portions of fresh and well portioned food. The staff was kind and welcoming. The ambiance is comfortable yet elegant. My husband ordered the salmon sandwich and I ordered the chicken sandwich. Both were better than we could have imagined. We will be back. We are very happy customers.

If you didn't know better you'd think you were in LA in the summer, excepty for the bocce ball. They have an excellent selection of spirits, cocktails. Maybe a little varied, but decently creative. Sure you pay for everything for decor, glassware and not just spritis, but I recall wondering how they price their drinks becuase not everything is equal or standard mark up when some things aren't house made it's easy to cost out becuase you stop paying for creativity after a certain point. It feels like they took alot of Mr. Lyons business model and use that for pricing rather than a sole entity with their own margins. The service makes up for it, the ambiance makes up for it. The crowd makes up for it. Far less wrinkled and aging snowbirds and retirees circling the drain in their waning days. People dressing up and celebrating, genuine convivialness abounds with most guests. It's not somewhere else trying bring that vibe here, it's pretty authentic. It's separate from nextdoor other than shared bathrooms, so don't be surprised when you feel like your in a different world. Most people who wander between the 2 take pause and awe for a few seconds before their mood shifts to match the room. Not a place to get sloppy and party that way unless it's a closed event. It's a great, classic PS lounge for when you have 2 groups of friends who you can entertain, the steakhouse crowd for dinner and the loungers beforehand. Sunsets on the patio under the string lights and couches is rich backyard summertime vibez.

I believe with drag night, it's highly recommended to reserve a table or seats as it gets pretty packed and wild. Not only that, you can check the website for the calendar of events. The drinks specials are always nice. For the Bloody Mary, 7.50 for happy hour. Cant beat that and they also offer free pretzels to munch on. All the bartenders are sweet and friendly. Both times we've been, you could tell that it's mainly frequently visited by their regulars. Everyone seems to know each other whenever someone walks in. A nice fun little neighborhood bar.
