Aguadito de pollo (cilantro chicken soup with rice), lomo saltado, house salad and passion fruit juice
    Neva W.

Few things bring us more joy than supporting an outstanding small business! During our extended honeymoon in Palm Springs, we discovered Inka. The service was phenomenal and the food is delicious. The fresh passion fruit juice was the cherry on top. Highly recommend the aguadito de pollo and lomo saltado. The waiter brought some fresh hot green sauce and chimichurri and I put that on everything. This is a cute family run business with good vibes! We will be back next time we are in town.

My family and I came here on Christmas Day after an online order elsewhere had been cancelled. We were starving and were just happy to find somewhere open that would seat the 6 of us! We were seated immediately and our server was awesome! We ordered the lomo saltado, the arroz chaufa con pollo, and arroz con pollo. Everything was SO good!!! They brought a chimichurri and hot sauce to the table- try both. Delicious. I basically inhaled my food as well as whatever else my other family members didn't eat. If you haven't tried this spot, you need to!! The lomo saltado was awesome especially with the chimichurri added to the beef. 10/10 would recommend.

Ordered the Tallarin Saltado de Carne and the Pollo à la Pobre. Portions were big. Food was delicious. Steak was great (not chewy or overcooked) and there was plenty of meat in both dishes. Friendly service and good looking restaurant.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Listen, we live in Los Angeles. We stayed out here to work for Coachella Weekend. We came for dinner last night, we came back AGAIN for dinner tonight. Our server, Mario, was absolutely charming and very attentive and led us into the right direction on both visits on deciding what to order. Night 1 Hers: Pescado a Ajo A fried sea bass topped with a roasted garlic and cilantro wine sauce on top of grilled potatos and white rice. It was so incredibly delicious and perfectly cooked and for a person who LOVES garlic it was heaven in each bite. His: Pollo alo Pobre Grilled chicken breast served with french fries, sweet plantains, fried eggs and white rice. Night #2 Causa Acevechada Mashed potatoes seasoned with lemon juice and yellow pepper, served with fish, sliced red onions, and avocado ** not only delicious with lime, and creamy mashed potatoes, but perfect bites of fish and yummy avocado. Perfectly balanced and light for warm weather. A must!!! Dish #2 Tallarin a la Huancaina con Lomo Saltado.... Strip of filet mignon sauteed with red onions, tomatoes, soy sauce, vinegar and cilantro. Mixet in fettuccini and Huancaina sauce, a traditional Peruvian sauce made with white cheese , yellow pepper, milk and salt ** talk about comfort food on a plate, it barely survived two people, the fettuccine was cooked perfect, the filet mignon, super tender, 1000% flavorsss. Heaven in every bite. All the negative reviews on here, I'm not understanding... because our service was beyond phenomenal with Mario. Our water glasses were never empty, constant refills, continual check-ins. The music was so fun, the seating and lighting was immediate and comfortable! We will definitely be back, we found our new favorite Peruvian spot.

Second time year in two years (two visits) Place did not let us down, maybe even better this time. Both times we opted for dishes with pasta and happy with them all. Nice service and both times we went on weekdays so it was a bit quiet. Not sure what it is like on a busy weekend. We will be back for sure.

This place is so delicious! We came here for a team dinner. We got the ceviche appetizer and another meat appetizer, the ceviche was so good! I ordered the lomo saltado and the strawberry pisco sour. Yall... the food was delicious! Would recommend and probably might be back for dinner before we head out. I'm

Pescado al Ajo breaded seabass with potatoes. Very good too!

Highly recommended. We ordered their sea bass dishes and both came out really good. Their fresh green salad is good too. They make their own ranch dressing. We had a server who gave us the wrong dish. He put in the wrong order. I said something to our server, but due to language differences, it was hard to explain what was wrong. To make the long story short, with the help of another server Eduardo, the restaurant was able to correct the mistake and gave me what was missing in my order, and I left the restaurant happy. Great customer service for first time customers. We'll still go back.

Don't forget to drink El leche del Tigre!

So many great things to say about this restaurant but the main thing is that the cooks are Peruvian. That makes a huge difference when comparing Peruvian restaurants and the authenticity of the ingredients used to make certain dishes as there are many substitutes your can use for certain dishes. I definitely recommend Inka Peruvian Cuisine if you're in Palm Springs.

Indoor area, this restaurant has a lot of space

Food: This place was absolutely incredible! I was blown away by my dish, the Tallarin Saltado de Carne. The filet mignon was perfectly well made while the sauce for the noodles and vegetables was exactly as it should taste like, a tangy almost soy saucy flavor. I had been on the hunt for a Peruvian restaurant that makes authentically tasting food, and this is it! I will definitely be back here to try more of their delicious plates! 5/5 Ambiance: It was a Saturday night so they had live music which made sitting outside even more of a lovely atmosphere as the front door let sounds of the music out. 5/5 Service: The service was amazing. Staff would check in often to refill water and was very attentive throughout. Loved their friendliness as well. 5/5

Maracuya / Passionfruit juice was nice

I finally got to try Peruvian food & had such a nice early dinner! There was plenty of seating indoors & out front, but was still too hot to sit outside (and very humid + misters). I'm sure it'll be nice in the coming months. Food: - I ordered the Tallarin Verde con Pollo which was a chicken pesto fettuccine dish. The chicken was a good portion & juicy. The pasta was more than plenty (saving some for later). - My dad got the seafood fried rice (shrimp + calamari), which looked great. I almost got the same without calamari (which has whole pieces). The calamari is too obvious for me, so I get squirmy haha. - Drinks: Maracuya aka Passionfruit juice, my favorite juice!! Service was kind, polite, and calm. We were seated quickly, food came at a decent amount of time after, and server checked on us just a bit. Would be nice to try more things in the future because I definitely saw some other options I was considering.

So many restaurants in Downtown Palm Springs were crowded and required reservations, so we stumbled upon Inka Peruvian Cuisine and were very happy that we found it! I loved their Lomo Saltado. The steak was cooked to my liking and the sauce was so flavorful. Steak, fries, and rice are the best combination and this meal definitely satisfied my cravings.

Lomo Saltado, Arroz Chaufa de Carne, Pallo a lo Pobre. Everything was sooo good!!

Wow, this was my first time trying Peruvian food and chef's kiss Everything was amazing! My kids loved the lomo saltado and the fried rice. The service was wonderful, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I would 100% recommend Peruvian food, and especially this restaurant. We're already looking forward to coming back!

The drinks were strong and well-made, and even though the place was packed, our waitress stayed attentive and checked in with us consistently. It's clear they specialize in more elaborate cocktails, so a bit of a wait is understandable. The ambiance is also a highlight--dark, intimate, and really leans into the tiki vibe. **Night two** was the complete opposite. We accidentally mixed up our reservation time, but since the place was nearly empty, we were seated right away, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We had a different waitress, and despite being one of only a few parties there when we arrived, we waited **45 minutes** without seeing our drinks--while other groups seated after us were already being served (and even getting second rounds). We eventually had to flag down our waitress, who had hardly checked on us at all. When we asked about the delay, she said they were "very busy,". After mentioning how long we'd been waiting, there wasn't any real apology--just visible annoyance. She told us our drinks were "up next," but after another 20 minutes passed with nothing, we decided to leave after over an hour of waiting. It was disappointing, especially after such a positive first experience. A simple apology or some communication would have gone a long way. Sadly, the inconsistency makes it hard to know which version of this place you're going to get.

The Cacio e Pepe was one of the standout dishes of the week. Those thick noodles were fantastic. We also ordered the Steak Frites and upgraded to filet. Unfortunately, it came out overcooked, and I asked for it to be removed from the check. On the other hand, the Smoked Bone-In Duroc Pork Chop was perfectly prepared and incredibly moist. Neil was welcoming, accommodating, and personally secured a table for our party of six when we returned after 9pm. His hospitality and the venue concept itself are excellent. Unfortunately, the service we received afterward from another staff member, Billy, did not match that standard. The venue is extremely dark, so we used the small table lamp to read the menu. Billy instructed us not to use it because it "wasn't the vibe of the establishment," and told us to use our phone lights instead. The tone was abrupt and dismissive. Around 9:50pm he announced last call. When one guest ordered, his response was, "I guess if you must." Others asked for a moment to decide and were repeatedly rushed. We explained we weren't aware they closed as 10, as Neil had told us it would be open seating after 10. He replied, "Yeah, well I'm closing tonight and I'm closing at 10." When drinks were delivered, they were set down forcefully. As we were leaving, a member of our group overheard Billy speaking negatively about us to another employee, including mocking someone in our group for needing glasses to read the menu and implying she was intoxicated (she wasn't). When this was addressed directly, he did not apologize and instead insisted we had overstayed, which is inaccurate. We ordered promptly after being told last call and left after finishing our drinks. We are locals who intentionally brought out-of-town guests here because we wanted them to have a great experience. It's disappointing that one staff member's conduct overshadowed what should have been a highlight of their visit. I won't assign motives, but I will note that Billy's demeanor noticeably shifted after the final member of our group, who happens to be Black, arrived. I cannot determine why, only that the change in tone was clear. Neil has created something special here. However, a venue's reputation ultimately depends on how guests are treated when ownership is not present. Based on this visit, there is a significant gap between the hospitality the owner provides and the service delivered in his absence. I hope Neil takes a close look at what happens when he's not present, because with the right staff, this could easily be a place we'd want to return to.

The drink was very tasty for a decent price, so I would come back for more drinks.

It caught our attention as we had stayed in two different Kimpton Hotels in Seattle prior. We wanted to grab a drink at the Window Bar (not knowing that was its actual name, but the conversation we had with the bartender about that window shining too much light at certain parts of the morning definitely gave me a chuckle in hindsight). We happened to be a bit early since he had not been able to finish setting up shop yet. We went ahead and waited until he was ready without rushing him because we ourselves weren't in any rush at all. Surrounded by a ton of nice interesting artwork, it was a pure joy to enjoy a drink or two in this environment. The bar can be found at the corner on the other side of the hotel concierge in plain sight from such a big space for a lobby, directly left upon entrance through the front. Since it was slow in the morning, we were able to chat it up with the bartender and even explore a bit of experimentation in the form of a particular top secret cocktail that every mixologist knows. I definitely exercised my etiquette and reading the conditions to even suggest it. He couldn't be any nicer about our time with him. So yeah, Christopher H. from 9/9/18, I don't know what you're talking about. I make it a point to visit the bar at any Kimpton location nowadays. I always seem to have a good time. But then again, I can only speak for myself. Parking: Street, unless you're a guest at the hotel. FYI: - Despite the hours on Yelp saying this place is open from 4-10pm, they might open earlier, as we joined in at around 11am or noon. But don't hold me to it. If there's somebody at the bar, you'll need to simply ask if it is open yet.
