Inside, it's absolutely stunning! Beautiful dark and sexy lighting, comfortable velvet booths, and a lovely bar in the middle. The whole place looks and feels luxurious. The drink menu was quite extensive and we loved the cocktails we grabbed as well. The best part was the staff! We got great recommendations from our server for drinks and Palm Springs in general. Visiting from out of town, we were hoping for a nice, chill spot to enjoy some drinks. The vibe and music were great, especially for a Sunday night, and the drinks we did get were good. Cute loungey vibe. Good mixology cocktails. Have been three times total amd there always seems to be something off each time. Unfortunately, our last experience here was the last straw. Ordering was weird with poor communication skills displayed. Then, the actual service was very slow. We had a group of 10 people go here for a couple prebirthday dinner drinks. 9 cocktails were made and served all in a relatively sufficient time (given the nature of making elaborate cocktails). One was missing and it was the birthday boys. We all sat with our drinks in front of us, ingredients separating and getting warm with condensation sweating down the glasses for no less than 10 whole minutes. Maybe longer. I got up twice to ask them to make the last drink so we could all cheers the birthday boy and have our first sips. They seemed unbothered at the fact everyone was very annoyed and uncomfortably waiting for the last drink to be served in order to enjoy their own. They continued to make and complete another party's order before even starting the last drink in our order. When it was finally delivered, the rest of our drinks were a tad warm, unfortunately. The cream in the espresso martinis had totally separated by the time we could drink them. Bummer and miscellaneous on their part for sure, but we were prepared to move on from that and enjoy. Then!!! They raised the blackout shades on the front windows, so we were blasted with bright light from when it was a nice lounge dark vibe just before that. It was insane. We all thought it was a mistake and asked them to close the shades again. They wouldn't even though we told them it was too bright for our eyes. So the drinks are ruined and now the ambiance was also totally ruined. With the combination of those two poor decisions on their part, we will not be going back. We are locals. It's unfortunate, but they showed poor customer service and judgment. I realize they need more customers (they stated this was the reason for raising the shades so others could see our crowd inside), but doing so at the obvious detriment to us is not the way to do it. read more

Sat at the bar, tended to by professional but friendly bartenders who stay close enough to be quick about a drink refill but also quietly respect your space and privacy. An unexpected find in the desert! This bar would be expected in a large metropolitan city like San Francisco or New York City, but it's surprisingly here in Palm Springs. Expertly crafted cocktails and the moody-chic interior design makes for a memorable experience. Drinks (5/5) This bar has an extensive and elevated cocktail list that are on the higher end in terms of the price point; however, each cocktail is handcrafted with a higher degree of details and skills that you cannot find in the Coachella Valley. In a previous visit, I ordered a color changing cocktail which really made a big impression on myself because this was before the color changing drink trend started going viral. In addition, if you're feeling more in the mood for a drink that is less sugary, they have a large spirit selection with numerous bottles of whiskey available. Service (4.5/5) I arrived right at opening so my experience is a bit biased because there were not that many other guests inside with me so the service was attentive and fast. The cocktails do take a little bit longer to make than usual but the drinks require more labor compared to a typical bar (definitely worth the wait still). Ambiance (5/5) This bar is more like a speakeasy because it's hidden away on a side street off of Palm Canyon. The exterior is deceiving because the windows are blacked out and the curtains hide any potential view of the interior. The interior is like a step into high end NYC bar with the posh furniture and the breathtaking illuminated centerpiece bar. We had a 7:00 PM reservation and were looking forward to a great cocktail experience, but the evening was disappointing from start to finish. By early evening, they were already out of ingredients for at least two drinks on the menu. When I ordered wine, they had no wine glasses available, and it was served in a champagne flute that was less than half full. My husband's cocktail was overly sweet and oddly garnished with what looked like a half-submerged carnation. While we were seated, we watched several drinks being made incorrectly at the bar, and more than one guest had to send their drink back. It didn't inspire much confidence in the bar. The manager was working hard to maintain quality control but he was unable to control all of the problems on his own. To make matters worse, the seating away from the bar consists of backless cube stools that are extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to relax and enjoy the experience. We were able to move to a bar seat when it became available. Unfortunately, this visit fell far short of expectations. We would not return read more

Horrible treatment by the only bartender on duty early last night. We arrived at opening at 4:30 and the door was blocked by a rope until 4:45. A group of us , our friends and other patrons, went to try the door and went inside thinking he must have forgotten to drop the rope. We were told he wasn't ready to open and was frantically running around doing his duties which should have been done before business hours. He made it very clear he didn't want us in there and kept asking if we had reservations. There were plenty of open seats. One in our party explained that she had called repeatedly but no one answered the phone. He was extremely rude, acted like he didn't care whether he lost our business, so we left and went next door.
