Speakeasy in a classic steakhouse. Seems to be a spot great for locals or tourists. Drinks were amazing, and the bartenders were very knowledgeable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's outdoor space for larger parties, but the indoor space is very intimate and just what you're looking for in a Speakeasy bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Very nice speakeasy spot in the Mr. Lyons steakhouse. Stopped by after dinner at Mr. Lyons as it was my last night from out of town. There was seating at the bar and additional seating inside and outside patio. The scenery was dark with dimmed lighting. The bartenders (2 that night) were busy but very courteous. I ordered a lemon drop martini and it was really good.

Popped in after dinner in a Friday hoping it wouldn't be too busy. Luckily our group of 4 was able to get a table with just a few minutes wait. The interior was very intimate - definitely a good date night spot. The outdoor patio looked nice as well, but that's for another time when it's not so hot out. Everyone got something different - wine, beer, and an old fashioned, and I got the Northern Elixir off their cocktail menu. My husband said the old fashioned was good, and I enjoyed my drink as well. Service was good, but not great. She didn't check on us until we were about done; however, she was friendly. Overall, a great after dinner experience, and I would return!

Seymour's has been on my list for a while; how extremely fortunate we visited when we did, as (who I'll describe as) "Master Mixologist" Erica was behind the bar (with assistant, Jade)! Erica is perhaps the most passionate and skilled bartender we've experienced; her enthusiasm in creating custom cocktails is infectious... and we delighted in being able to sample her creations, which were both attractive and tasty! As first-timers, Erica knows how to make one feel valued and special -- even as the crowd grew in this dimly-lit, intimate bar. Thinking that we'd be in for just a drink or two, can't believe we stayed as long as we did, enjoying more drinks than planned as well as the fun energy among the other guests that evening! Definitely a favorite spot; we're now going to be regulars when in the desert. My concern (as Yelpers who gave low ratings have reported) is highly anticipating a visit only to find it closed. Fun and wonderful find!

This speakeasy inside of Mr. Lyons is a great spot to start your evening. The cocktails are good and the dark vibe makes it special. We had great service, too. It's tiny so expect to wait for a spot if you come at prime time. Ask the hostess at Mr. Lyons where to go so you don't end up just at the ordinary bar and can instead experience this hidden treasure.

What a great spot! Bartender was amazing, drinks were amazing and the vibes were on point! We will be back!

We didn't have any issues around 10pm. Seating: An intimate lounge for the most part, bar seating, group seating, room for about 50 people total. Vibes: Downtown Palm Springs is an eventful place. Small enough that it's close to the type of vibe you need. As for the space itself, it has a dim lighting, a tv for sports or popular shows if you just want to zone out. You have your usual singers and a good ebb and flow of people trying to catch a song. Karaoke is definitely the heart of this place. Whether someone is absolutely crushing it or having fun with friends, it's a supportive place with good vibes all around. DRINKS Vodka Soda with Lime (Recommend) A simple drink that gets the job done. Cold, refreshing, and well balanced. Just a solid cocktail to help you relax and enjoy the vibes. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly, attentive, and easygoing. DJ is great and same as the servers. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Good drinks, welcoming people, and one of those neighborhood bars that doesn't have to be expensive and flashy. Great space where people can laugh, sing, meet new friends, and enjoy a night out. Enjoy! TIPS * Karaoke is the main attraction--don't be afraid to sign up for a song. * Vibes will come in waves, sometimes it's poppin and sometimes its chill.

I have been to Zaldas nightclub years ago and it was a fun place. Anyway, looked up on Yelp and found this gem and my friend and I got excited, took an Uber and went straight to the club. We didn't have this much fun in a long time. David was very nice, kind and attentive. Since we had already eaten, we only ordered drinks. We both opted for Coconut Margarita (blended) didn't want to cross the line and get drunk. That is why we took the Uber down there. Smart idea right? Right! They have a dance floor, DJ, and live music. Also a cover charge for entrance. $10.00 which is not bad at all. Other places charge way more..Can't comment on the food, since we didn't eat there. The minute I came back from the restroom to my seat, this lovely elderly gentlemen invited me to dance. Since he was more like my friend's age, she thought that he was about to ask her to dance.. Place was very clean, David checked on us twice, and the feeling/vibe along with the atmosphere was just PERFECT!! The song that the band was playing was "Besame Mucho". I am sure most of you have heard of that song, if you haven't, it's never too late. If I happen to be in Palm Springs again, I will definitely go back to this club. You are never too old to have fun. You can also hold events for your special occasions. To start with the staff was super friendly. The menu was a blast to read. I mean, what else could you have wanted? Everything tasted amazing. My favorite was the Yuzu filtered cocktail called poolside vibes. Special props to our server "Angel" who was a literal angel with helping me to navigate the menu choices and keep everything filled! He even replaced the candle for our table. The menu appears to change seasonally, which is a bonus for those of us who are locals to the Palm Springs area. We are already planning our next visit and can't wait to go back and try more. All we can think about are the ahi wonton tacos appetizer. The vibe is casual classy and you can even bring your four legged best friend if that is your cup of tea! I hear there is a menu for Dogs, which sounds amazing. My review is only about Food and Service. This may still be a great place for Drinks but I'd recommend staying with just that and not getting any food. We were there for their Friday Brunch. We got the Bodega Sandwich, it was okay, not worth the $22 price point. I got the Manila bowl w/ a Fried Edd $30. Everything about this was bad. The majority of the bowl was just made up of rice and pancit, the chicken karaage was covered in sambal which threw off the entire flavor of the bowl. Just not worth it at the 30 dollar price point. I ordered a side of sourdough toast, it was $4 dollars for one slice of toast and they gave me a Smuckers Jam along with it. I found this silly for a couple reasons - 1. you gave one slice of toast and 2. for the vibe and aesthetic of this place you can't provide housemade jam? Service was horrible. After waiting for 15 minutes, a server came up to us and said 'sorry thought someone else would take this table, what do you guys want to order'. Overall, save your money.

We shared a bunch of dishes, which is definitely the way to experience the menu. The cocktails (not pictured) were fantastic--whether you're in the mood for a timeless classic or something a little more whimsical, there's something for everyone. The escargot was beautifully prepared and made even better by the perfectly char-grilled baguette that came alongside it. The steak tartare was an absolute flavor bomb with great seasoning, especially paired with the house-made potato chips. It leaned a touch salty, but in a way that made it the perfect appetizer and somehow had us ordering another round of cocktails. The grilled artichokes were simple, smoky, and delicious. The red curry mussels were served with that same incredible bread and an aromatic, deeply flavorful broth that we didn't want to leave behind. The smoked pork chop was another standout--beautifully charred on the outside while staying perfectly juicy inside. Beyond the food, the service was fabulous, attentive, but not rushed. The atmosphere is quintessential Palm Springs: stylish, colorful, well-lit and a lively environment overall. It made for a memorable birthday celebration, and everyone in our group left happy. We'll absolutely be back.

Reservations are notoriously hard to get, but we got lucky with a last-minute walk-in and were seated after 15-20 min wait. There's plenty of parking, and if you do have to wait, they have a cute little covered outdoor seating area with chairs and tables where you can relax. We sat on the patio, which was surprisingly cool and comfortable, so don't let the Palm Springs heat scare you away. The whole restaurant has such a sexy, colorful, candlelit vibe that somehow feels both lively and intimate. We kept the drinks simple and ordered Hugo Spritzes, which were refreshing and perfectly made for a hot afternoon. What we ordered: * Caramelized Onion Tart (Puff pastry, chive, Comté) - This was recommended by our server and I can see why. It reminded me of French onion soup wrapped in a flaky puff pastry. Rich, savory, and definitely shareable since it is a bit on the heavier side. * Red Thai Curry Mussels (PEI mussels, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, red chile, coconut milk) - WOW. This was hands down my favorite dish. The broth was incredible, rich and packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. I was worried the lemongrass might overpower everything, but it was perfectly balanced. It comes with toasted bread and trust me, you'll want every last drop of that broth. I'd honestly come back just for this dish. * Steak Frites - The steak was cooked perfectly medium and was delicious. The fries were crispy and seasoned well, making it a classic done right. * Broccolini - Simple but really good with a nice char that added great flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The atmosphere is one of the best parts..beautiful, moody, and full of personality..but the food absolutely held its own. Service was friendly, the patio was comfortable, and now I completely understand why it's one of Palm Springs' hardest reservations to get. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

The patio chairs are in the same boat; wobbly stools held together by a prayer, and what looks like clearance-rack lawn furniture.
