On a recent two week trip to visit family in California, we discovered Twelve located on the top floor of Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. It was on a Sunday evening. The place was relatively quiet with several people enjoying themselves at the bar. We opted to sit in the comfy lounge chairs overlooking the breathtaking scenery of mountains and blue skies. We had eaten dinner earlier in the casino and since I had a sweet craving, I ordered an Espresso Martini. It definitely satisfied my craving. It was a TREAT! The bartender informed us that live music is showcased on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. We decided to return to Thursday Night Rock Show featuring HWY 111. We actually met vocalist Niki Bente in the elevator on our way to Twelve! She was very friendly and personable. Niki Bente also preforms with Twisted Gypsy whom we had the pleasure of seeing at the Rock Yard on Saturday night. Rocking Show!!! HWY 111 was very entertaining as I danced the night away! The place was lively, filled with people having a great time. It proved to be a wonderful experience! I thoroughly enjoyed two different specialty cocktails from the menu. The bartenders are attentive and offer a choice of complimentary almonds with or without salt. Whether you're looking for a quieter place to enjoy a cocktail or two and take in the beautiful views or you prefer to Rock Out with live music, Twelve is the place to choose! We came to the Fantasy Springs Casino during our vacation to Palm Springs and within the casino on the 12th floor is Twelve. Twelve is a lounge. There are plenty of areas to sit and the views are amazing especially at night. There is a bar. You can sit outside or inside. There is a stage which is where they normally feature live music. No band was playing the night we visited. We ordered drinks from the bar and just enjoyed the views and lively conversation. I asked the bartender to suggest a tropical drink for me and he came up with a refreshing cocktail. Great place to come for date night or girl's night out. read more

I am not a late night person, but I came up and watched Steele Rod at Twelve. I had a great time! The band is fantastic! They can play anything and they make the night so much fun. The servers are super helpful and the bartenders make great drinks. This is a do not miss spot! read more

The band, titled Steel Rod After Dark, that plays from 10:30 PM-1:30 AM on Friday and Saturday nights is the absolute BEST!! They all sing and play all different types of music and different artists. We love to dance and go there all the time. The cocktails are delicious too and they don't scrimp on the alcohol either! The view of the Coachella Valley outside is spectacular. Went and checked this place out on Friday night for the first time! It was pretty packed and they also had a live band playing so the music and the vibe was very chill! The service and the drinks were awesome and they also have an outdoor deck with amazing views so you can hang out and listen to music inside from the band or you can go out on the deck and chill or smoke and enjoy 360° views! A modern luxurious cocktail lounge with a expansive balcony and a beautiful view of the Coachella Valley and the mountains. I had an informal meeting with my business associates and we ordered drinks and took shots to celebrate a contract approval. Yanina was our bartender and she made our drinks to our liking. Gayle, Erin, Jim, and I spent a pleasant evening up here at Twelve last Friday. Drinks were reasonably priced and the free entertainment (a keyboard/guitar vocal duo) were pleasant enough, once you looked past the occasional sharps and flats, and a longer than usual performance break. The lounge itself is handsome, stylish, and comfortable, and a nice quiet respite from the casino action on the ground floor. I struggled with their drink menu, not wanting beer or wine, but some special cocktail. I made my selection, only to be advised that they were out of a couple of the ingredients (on a Friday night)? Have you ever had an experience that once you found out they didn't have what you wanted, that was it? At least the nice wait person didn't take it personally, I didn't get pissy out it, and was happy for the bottled water while the others enjoyed their 2 rounds of adult beverages. We sat inside and then outside, which were both pleasant, albeit with a better view on the patio. Smoking is allowed outside, and unfortunately no matter where we sat, the smoke was evident. At least it was largely cigar smoke, which I find the lesser of 2 evils compared to cigarettes. And for you cigar smokers, Twelve has a small humidor available. The best part was hanging out with people we liked and having relaxed and thoughtful conversations. We'll probably be back if we're in the area again, especially considering that we're normally not ones to seek out casino-related activities. read more

It was nice to get away from the crowds downstairs. The drinks were good and the services was nice. I enjoyed a couple of drinks with my husband before a concert when it opened. So they were slow but in the late night they were crowded. So if you want a quiet place go when they open. The drinks were strong and unique. I tried the drinks from their speciality menu. read more

Twelve is a contemporary bar situated on the 12th floor at Fantasy Springs. Often overlooked as an entertainment venue, it's a nice classy place to sit down on a sofa and enjoy a cocktail while escaping the hustle and bustle of the casino. It has an outdoor patio level with a nice view of the city lights and skyline at night. On weekdays it is very quiet and a nice place to sit and chat over drinks. On Friday and Saturday nights there is live entertainment. Early in the evening (between 7pm to 10pm) there is usually and acoustic (unplugged) duo playing rock/contemporary music. A great view, yes, but of Indio. The gem of Fantasy Springs, this lounge is gorgeous, dark, and nearly cavernous. Kinda like Robin Givens. Best of all, twelve floors up, it has great views, with a giant L-shaped balcony (L for "Look! It's the I-10") on one side and glass wall on the other. I just turned 21 today and I came to fantasy for my 21st birthday and I went to the bar with the machines in the middle of the floor on the 2nd floor it was okay and I was like let's go to the Twelve I was a little nervous at first but Emmanuel just won over my nerves he just has a home feeling like I just felt so comfortable like it was wonderful he definitely just has the best customer service I have ever seen like it's amazing I am definitely coming back when he is working absolutely the best service I have ever had plus the drinks where absolutely amazing! Choice nighttime views, albeit of the Coachella Valley, (hey... I'm not hatin' on the Valley, either Coachella or Morongo. I love 'em both. Especially from the perspective of a city light polluted city boy). A very casual atmosphere and somewhat pricey drinks. Outdoor area for smokers too. This place is on the top of where our hotel is and we wanted to hang out somewhere with alcohol and not gamble. It was empty when we came around 6pm on Wednesday. I absolutely love this lounge! My boyfriend and I went on Saturday night as a nice way to end our night and we fell in love with the space. A complete difference from the Casino floors below, the lounge was quite, romantic and upscale. Tiffany was working the bar and was absolutely great. She helped us with our wine selections as well as cigar selections and she was fun and good spirited. She also took a few great pictures of us. I would definitely recommend Twelve to couples or small groups. Larger groups might work as well as the lounge wasn't full at all but Tiffany told us on some nights depending on surrounding events going on, it fills up. ZERO STARS!!! We came on a quiet night for one drink for my best friends Bachelorette party. It took them an hour and 20 minutes to get us any drinks. Several parties came in and were served before ours were made. The drinks we finally received were all incorrect and not the right quantity of drinks (8 ordered, 5 given). They tried offering a complementary cheese plate, but charging us an astronomical amount for drinks we didn't order. Terrible customer service and awful managerial customer service on top of it. I think this lounge is the best thing about Fantasy Springs (and I like the casino). A hidden gem. You won't see any signs for it in the casino itself, so here's what you do. Go to the hotel lobby and hop on the elevator. Take it to the top floor. They open at 5PM, but go when it's dark. You'll be rewarded with a tremendous view. Play pool. Sit outside on the deck or inside on one of the many couches. Candles everywhere. Maybe sit at the bar. Talk with Phillip... a great bartender. Nice guy. Get a glass of the Kim Crawford Pinot Noir and relax. My only complaint... the music. I'd rather hear Downtempo or Jazz in a place like this than Top 40, but... that's just me. read more

First off, this low-key lounge is located in the Fantasy Springs Casino and to get to it you'll need to get to the hotel lobby and take the elevator all the way to the top! I always refer to this spot as the "Sky Lounge" because of how high up it is and has a better ring to it than the aforementioned name. Anyways, this lounge has a relaxing vibe and low lit throughout it. It has numerous couches to sit at with a group of people or by yourself, ranging from indoor to outdoor or at the bar. The restrooms are always clean and above standard! They have one pool table and a shuffle board to play at. I love coming to this place to relax and have a drink with friends. It has great views at night and just being able to sit outside and drink with friends is awesome. They don't have any food up there, so that's probably their only negative. This place is never packed which helps it to keep that low-key, chill vibe. Overall 5 stars because this is a lounge meant to lounge at. Despite the lackluster reviews I actually liked this place. It's perched atop the Fantasy Springs casino and resort and affords great views of the Coachella Valley. Oh, listen to me sounding like one of those real estate magazines! Just kidding. But this place does have an amazing view of the Coachella Valley. That might not sound like much if you're used to amazing skylines like SF, LA, or SD but it was pretty cool to see. The bar wasn't fully stocked with hard to find liquor so if you have an extremely discerning taste this place isn't for you. Like, you're not going to find Bols Genever or Highland Park but if you're willing to bring things down a bit you'll find something. I ordered a couple of dirty martinis and they were fine. However, I also quickly realized that I shouldn't order anything like a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned because it would probably be muddled to death. Everyone knows how to make a dirty martini. The furniture is comfy or you can sit at the bar. The patio area is nice but we went in January so that obviously wasn't an option. I definitely recommend you check out this place when the weather is nice enough to enjoy a few drinks outside. We were here the night of 4/12/15. Giving 2 stars purely because of the service from the bartender. I suppose that I should cut him a little slack for it being his first night on the job, but he was downright unprofessional and had absolutely NO clue what he was doing. So we had 2 manhattans, 1 well vodka/soda, and a house Chardonnay and it came out to $38.00. Ridiculously expensive in my opinion. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the bartender rung the order up wrong on person and pocketed some of the money. That much money for 4 drinks at a place like this seems incredibly ridiculous. The bartender last night seemed a bit shady, and like I said, he didn't have a clue what he was doing and seemed to barely know his left hand from his right. Very disappointing. Went here on Saturday, 1/16/16 right after the Tony Bennett concert. Sat at the bar and was totally ignored by both bartenders. Not even a look my way or something to the effect of, "I'll be right with you." Waited there for 5-7 mintues, still without acknowledgement. A man happened to come right up to the bar and sit next to me, which the bartneder says to him, "I'll be right with you sir" and still doesn't look my way. At that point I got up and walked out.
