After reading some Old Reviews, I'm glad to see that our experiences here at the Cascade Lounge has always been positive. I'm not sure if it's because we only attend during the VIP invitations or if things have developed into a better environment. The ambiance and music have always been very seasonal and delightful. They go above and beyond. The food 99.9% has been delicious and we've even broadened our own palates by eating some things we've never ate. Now we've been spoiled to happen to get the same waitress "Sandra" who has to be one of my all favorite servers ever! She is on top of her game, and is always so pleasant. Only one disappointment......... the lady that took over as the Cascade Host is by far no way as good as their prior host Alex. Alex was fun, engaging and really made us feel like she loved her job. On the other hand this lady comes across as Ugh, this is my job! Big difference! Shame on Agua for letting Alex leave. Finishing off with, Rafael (Aguas Host) is 100% the Best Host we've ever had. He is so professional and so heartwarming when it comes to his attention to our family needs. He goes way above and beyond! If it weren't for him we wouldn't be going to Agua as much as we do.

We visited Cascade Lounge at Agua Caliente Casino recently after purchasing tickets online to see the Holly Street Stompers. It's a small lounge within the casino with limited seating. The cocktails were watered down and the milieu was just okay. Seats are not designed for comfort. The music was outstanding, however. If you are lucky enough to snag seats right up front, you might have a better experience. Ours had obstructed views that we were not aware of until we arrived and had no chance to change. The lounge is also non-smoking which is appreciated.

We didn't have any issues around 10pm. Seating: An intimate lounge for the most part, bar seating, group seating, room for about 50 people total. Vibes: Downtown Palm Springs is an eventful place. Small enough that it's close to the type of vibe you need. As for the space itself, it has a dim lighting, a tv for sports or popular shows if you just want to zone out. You have your usual singers and a good ebb and flow of people trying to catch a song. Karaoke is definitely the heart of this place. Whether someone is absolutely crushing it or having fun with friends, it's a supportive place with good vibes all around. DRINKS Vodka Soda with Lime (Recommend) A simple drink that gets the job done. Cold, refreshing, and well balanced. Just a solid cocktail to help you relax and enjoy the vibes. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly, attentive, and easygoing. DJ is great and same as the servers. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Good drinks, welcoming people, and one of those neighborhood bars that doesn't have to be expensive and flashy. Great space where people can laugh, sing, meet new friends, and enjoy a night out. Enjoy! TIPS * Karaoke is the main attraction--don't be afraid to sign up for a song. * Vibes will come in waves, sometimes it's poppin and sometimes its chill.

If you didn't know better you'd think you were in LA in the summer, excepty for the bocce ball. They have an excellent selection of spirits, cocktails. Maybe a little varied, but decently creative. The only thing that gets me is pricing. Sure you pay for everything for decor, glassware and not just spritis, but I recall wondering how they price their drinks becuase not everything is equal or standard mark up when some things aren't house made it's easy to cost out becuase you stop paying for creativity after a certain point. It feels like they took alot of Mr. Lyons business model and use that for pricing rather than a sole entity with their own margins. The service makes up for it, the ambiance makes up for it. The crowd makes up for it. Far less wrinkled and aging snowbirds and retirees circling the drain in their waning days. People dressing up and celebrating, genuine convivialness abounds with most guests. It's not somewhere else trying bring that vibe here, it's pretty authentic. It's separate from nextdoor other than shared bathrooms, so don't be surprised when you feel like your in a different world. Most people who wander between the 2 take pause and awe for a few seconds before their mood shifts to match the room. Not a place to get sloppy and party that way unless it's a closed event. It's a great, classic PS lounge for when you have 2 groups of friends who you can entertain, the steakhouse crowd for dinner and the loungers beforehand. Sunsets on the patio under the string lights and couches is rich backyard summertime vibez.

AMBIANCE Parking: Street parking and plaza parking. You really shouldn't have any issues unless there's a major festival or something. Seating: Plenty of seating! I mainly saw inside seating from groups to bars. Vibes: You're pretty much in Downtown Palm Springs but also prime location for LGBTQ+ nightlife. The spot itself can be chill and not so chill depending on the events. Regardless, I felt welcomed and enjoyed the vibrant and fun energy. The drag brunch was great! The performers brought charisma, comedy, incredible costumes, with plenty of audience interaction. Whether it was your first drag brunch or your fiftieth, the energy made you feel included. DRINKS Mimosa (Recommend) Simple, refreshing, and exactly what you want during brunch. Light, bubbly, and easy to sip while cheering on the performers. CUSTOMER SERVICE Ongina was served as the MC and was great! The servers were pretty cool too. Good banter, pretty friendly and a good flow. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. No complaints on vibe or service. But we need to talk about the furniture. I sat down on a booth that crackled like it was held together by a single roll of duct tape and sheer optimism. The patio chairs are in the same boat; wobbly stools held together by a prayer, and what looks like clearance-rack lawn furniture. This is Palm Springs, a town famous for its mid-century modern design, and the seating currently looks like it lost a fight with a garage sale. I'll absolutely keep coming back and recommending this place. The atmosphere and people are worth it, but the furniture needs an upgrade to match everything else this place has going for it. Would come back, might bring a cushion just in case.

I have been to Zaldas nightclub years ago and it was a fun place. Anyway, looked up on Yelp and found this gem and my friend and I got excited, took an Uber and went straight to the club. We didn't have this much fun in a long time. David was very nice, kind and attentive. Since we had already eaten, we only ordered drinks. We both opted for Coconut Margarita (blended) didn't want to cross the line and get drunk. That is why we took the Uber down there. Smart idea right? Right! They have a dance floor, DJ, and live music. Also a cover charge for entrance. $10.00 which is not bad at all. Other places charge way more..Can't comment on the food, since we didn't eat there. The minute I came back from the restroom to my seat, this lovely elderly gentlemen invited me to dance. Since he was more like my friend's age, she thought that he was about to ask her to dance.. Place was very clean, David checked on us twice, and the feeling/vibe along with the atmosphere was just PERFECT!! The song that the band was playing was "Besame Mucho". I am sure most of you have heard of that song, if you haven't, it's never too late. If I happen to be in Palm Springs again, I will definitely go back to this club. You are never too old to have fun. You can also hold events for your special occasions. One of the reasons I keep coming back is the availability of private dining rooms that are conveniently located near the main dining area. If you're planning a group dinner meeting, just be aware that the sliding doors don't completely block out the noise from the dining room, so conversations may not be as secluded as you'd expect. That said, the food is consistently outstanding. The heirloom tomato salad is an absolute must-order. The crème fraîche dressing is incredible. Pro tip: save some bread to soak up every last bit of it. For the main course, the mesquite-smoked carne asada is exceptional. The meat is cooked perfectly, and the combination of pinto beans, ranchera sauce, and slightly sweet corn pudding creates a balanced and memorable dish. The portions are thoughtfully sized! Satisfying without leaving you feeling overly full. And whatever you do, don't skip dessert. They're all worth trying, but the macchiato cake is the standout and the perfect way to end the meal. Whether you're meeting clients, celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying a night out, Eight4Nine delivers excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a dining experience that keeps me coming back.

A couple girls ordered the carne asada, and really enjoyed that as well. I'd say the biggest miss for our group was with the drinks. One gal ordered a vodka soda with lots of lemons. She recieved a literal glass of vodka, full, with a whole bottle of sparkling water on the side. This was so odd, but we're not the type to send things back so she went with it. Another lady ordered the manhattan and the server noticed immediately that it didn't look quite right, and had that fixed. It had come with an orange slice and no vermouth originally. I ordered the cucumber cocktail and that was decent. A few others ordered cocktails that they enjoyed. I'd definitely be back as it was a fun place with great service, and my dish was excellent.
