After reading some Old Reviews, I'm glad to see that our experiences here at the Cascade Lounge has always been positive. I'm not sure if it's because we only attend during the VIP invitations or if things have developed into a better environment. The ambiance and music have always been very seasonal and delightful. They go above and beyond. The food 99.9% has been delicious and we've even broadened our own palates by eating some things we've never ate. Now we've been spoiled to happen to get the same waitress "Sandra" who has to be one of my all favorite servers ever! She is on top of her game, and is always so pleasant. Only one disappointment......... the lady that took over as the Cascade Host is by far no way as good as their prior host Alex. Alex was fun, engaging and really made us feel like she loved her job. On the other hand this lady comes across as Ugh, this is my job! Big difference! Shame on Agua for letting Alex leave. Finishing off with, Rafael (Aguas Host) is 100% the Best Host we've ever had. He is so professional and so heartwarming when it comes to his attention to our family needs. He goes way above and beyond! If it weren't for him we wouldn't be going to Agua as much as we do.

We visited Cascade Lounge at Agua Caliente Casino recently after purchasing tickets online to see the Holly Street Stompers. It's a small lounge within the casino with limited seating. The cocktails were watered down and the milieu was just okay. Seats are not designed for comfort. The music was outstanding, however. If you are lucky enough to snag seats right up front, you might have a better experience. Ours had obstructed views that we were not aware of until we arrived and had no chance to change. The lounge is also non-smoking which is appreciated.

If you didn't know better you'd think you were in LA in the summer, excepty for the bocce ball. They have an excellent selection of spirits, cocktails. Maybe a little varied, but decently creative. The only thing that gets me is pricing. Sure you pay for everything for decor, glassware and not just spritis, but I recall wondering how they price their drinks becuase not everything is equal or standard mark up when some things aren't house made it's easy to cost out becuase you stop paying for creativity after a certain point. It feels like they took alot of Mr. Lyons business model and use that for pricing rather than a sole entity with their own margins. The service makes up for it, the ambiance makes up for it. The crowd makes up for it. Far less wrinkled and aging snowbirds and retirees circling the drain in their waning days. People dressing up and celebrating, genuine convivialness abounds with most guests. It's not somewhere else trying bring that vibe here, it's pretty authentic. It's separate from nextdoor other than shared bathrooms, so don't be surprised when you feel like your in a different world. Most people who wander between the 2 take pause and awe for a few seconds before their mood shifts to match the room. Not a place to get sloppy and party that way unless it's a closed event. It's a great, classic PS lounge for when you have 2 groups of friends who you can entertain, the steakhouse crowd for dinner and the loungers beforehand. Sunsets on the patio under the string lights and couches is rich backyard summertime vibez.

The drinks were strong and well-made, and even though the place was packed, our waitress stayed attentive and checked in with us consistently. It's clear they specialize in more elaborate cocktails, so a bit of a wait is understandable. The ambiance is also a highlight--dark, intimate, and really leans into the tiki vibe. **Night two** was the complete opposite. We accidentally mixed up our reservation time, but since the place was nearly empty, we were seated right away, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We had a different waitress, and despite being one of only a few parties there when we arrived, we waited **45 minutes** without seeing our drinks--while other groups seated after us were already being served (and even getting second rounds). We eventually had to flag down our waitress, who had hardly checked on us at all. When we asked about the delay, she said they were "very busy,". After mentioning how long we'd been waiting, there wasn't any real apology--just visible annoyance. She told us our drinks were "up next," but after another 20 minutes passed with nothing, we decided to leave after over an hour of waiting. It was disappointing, especially after such a positive first experience. A simple apology or some communication would have gone a long way. Sadly, the inconsistency makes it hard to know which version of this place you're going to get.

The three of us opted for a table out on the patio which provided the inside music as a background, so having a conversation was possible. The drinks were good and a little more reasonably priced than at our first stop. They had male go-go dancers around the main bar area, providing a little extra visual stimulation over all of the regular customers dancing in the back. I had found COPA through an online search for large groups, and to be fair, that's exactly what it is. We got the free tickets so had to arrive by 10, and it seemed like from 9-10 they had a bachelorette party focused hour where hired male dancers went around and danced with the bride to bes. We saw this from outside, and were already a little wary. Inside, the space is pretty small and the transition to multiple bridal party groups sitting down to a makeshift dance floor was pretty awkward - there were rows of seats lining the dance floor area. Once the DJ got underway and the dance floor formed, it was pretty fun! They played old school hits for the most part that we remembered from high school and college. It felt very comfortable as we were surrounded by a sea of other bach parties. It seemed like a bit of a pay-to-play situation - certain brides would get taken up on stage to dance, and it seemed like the ones who had paid for the VIP experience beforehand. We ended up heading out around midnight to see if we could find something with a bit more local ambiance and less bach parties, but appreciated the music and comfortable ambiance.
